KotOR Juhani's Personal Quest - Threat From Xor
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 3 мар 2016
- This quest will be available after you have completed the conversation where Juhani talks about her being sold into slavery ( • KotOR Juhani History C... ).
Have Juhani in your party and walk around the spaceport on Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan or Korriban. A character named Xor will approach Juhani and reveal that he was the slaver who attempted to buy Juhani on Taris before the later was freed by Jedi. Xor leaves but he’ll be back later.
The second encounter with Xor happens when you come back just outside of the Ebon Hawk (using the Rapid Transit system will help). Xor will ambush you and Juhani. Once you defeat Xor, you can either let him die or have Juhani kill him.

I had to add this comment because I keep getting comments asking about it:
NO, YOU CANNOT SELL JUHANI. STOP ASKING.
And frankly, IMO selling Juhani should not even be an option at all.
I find the sheer amount of hate Juhani gets disgusting. I will not publish any comments that bash Juhani and talk about wanting to kill or sell her on any of my videos. Character hate is one of the reasons I have comments on my RUclips channel moderated. I reserve the right to moderate comments on my own videos.
I like the character.
@@CloneScavengerVulpin8389 same here. i she was my fav character in kotor 1. I know people some people didn't like her but kill her or sell her? Geez. Listen guys if you don't want her in your party you can get her killed in the Grove where you first meet her. It is an option/ choice build into the game. As far as I can remember you can get all members part from Carth to be killed off somewhere in the game. I find her character amazing her unique design. I love her backstory and how strong-willed she is.
I was about to ask that question not because I hate her I like her but its just if that could happen seemed pretty mean
@ifallintofantasy Carth can be killed in the Dark Side ending if he is romanced, and there is no way to kill Canderous, T3-M4 and HK-47, but otherwise yes, seconding all you said about Juhani.
In dark side runs, I like to play as the leader who still loves their companions, not wanting to hurt them if they can help it. I wish we could at least give Juhani a chance to join the dark side cause of that.
Honestly it made more sense for him to be a Human than a Twi'lek. It had more weight behind his hatred and threats.
I eventually made a Human Xor Restoration mod for this reason, in addition to the fact that Xor was originally a human in the Xbox version of KotOR.
deadlystream.com/files/file/1091-human-xor-restoration/
Twi’leks can be like that as well
@Larniie Playz
Except that the problem with making Xor a Twi'lek is that his dialogue literally has him use "nonhuman" as an insult and calling nonhumans lesser, despite not being human himself, not to mention he was actually a human in the Xbox version of KotOR, which came out before the PC version, which is why I made the Human Xor Restoration mod.
@@larniieplayz6285 Yea but Twi'leks are also persecuted against by other races, considering that alot of their women are used as slaves. Plus, humans often tend to enslave and persecute against other races. It makes little sense for Xor to be a Twi'lek and be like that...
Personally, I believe it makes him more of a despicable hypocrite, and I’m pretty certain that’s the entire point of his character. But that’s just my opinion.

1:12 *Grevious approves*
It was so satisfying pacifying Juhani's anger so Xor could die the slow and painful death he deserved
I wished that his wind pipe broke during the fight so we didn’t have to hear his taunting though...
Love how that Selkath is just letting this happen not even attempting to intervene.
He doesn’t want to get involved with that
that's....kind of their position in general lol
Darth Pockets would’ve done this differently.
Ah I see you are a man of culture as well.

Thank you for uploading this!
I would have let her just end his suffering.
Would have been considered iffy, but regardless she deserved to kill him.
Yep. I think "Grey" Jedi's have it right. You can take care of trash without falling to the dark side!
@@ufodeath Absolutely. Nonetheless he dies upset and not gaining what he wants.
So either through spite or via a lightsaber, Juhani wins.
Some force lightning wouldn't have hurt however.
Well actually by killing him she would have protected the galaxy from him as a Jedi Guardian but you are right she shouldn't have given into her anger
Guys, guys.
It's very easy to fall to the Dark Side if you let it.
I think it's better that Juhani didn't kill him.
I really don't get why people like Grey Jedi so much.
and Bastila just stand there in silence for all the time!
Thing is, this guys is probably a disgrace to the Mandalorians as well. They don’t care about what species you are; only if you can fight.
I would've liked to see how Canderous reacts to all of this.
@@napoleoncomplex2712 Would he even react to this?

Manthan Shah No he doesn’t, I had him with me and he didn’t say shit
yea and a fucking twilek does this while his own race is a slave race acros the galaxy
I can never get him to show up after the first encounter.
You may want to try out the KotOR 1 Community Patch, as it also fixes Xor-related bugs: deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/
@@Leilukin Am I freaked if im on xbox?
@@mrgreen027 I’m on switch and I’m wondering too.
@Ninja Eriku
Sorry, I only own the KotOR games on PC, so I cannot help with the Xbox version. I couldn't find any info about being able to use mods on the Xbox version either.
@Nicholas Reyna
I do not own the KotOR games on Switch either, so I cannot help much with using mods on the Switch version. Someone has made KotOR Switch Modding Framework and according to the creator, KotOR 1 Community Patch works with it, though you'll need to hack your Switch first.
deadlystream.com/files/file/2102-kotor-switch-modding-framework/
So I suggest you ask the creator of KotOR Switch Modding Framework about using KotOR mods on the Switch version.

Anyone just wanted to use the kill power on him?
How the table have turned on the twielek from predators to prey.
I've been playing this game for a good long time now, and I keep waiting to see him in one of the planets, but he never shows up. Anything I have to do before he does? Finish quests, get more XP, that kind of thing? He's a complete no-show
You may want to try out the KotOR 1 Community Patch, as it also fixes Xor-related bugs: deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/
You have to constantly talk to her to build-up her story, and then walk around with her on a planet and her storyline triggers. Just like every other character besides the droids
There should be a mod do make him more harder to kill
I have never been able to trigger this and I have juanni kinda in the "love" state. Am I missing something?
The Threat From Xor quest is infamous for being buggy, so you might have encountered bugs that prevent you from completing the quest.
I would recommend you check out my Juhani Romance Guide (link in the video description) to ensure you meet the conditions to trigger Juhani's personal quest and romance.
If you play KotOR on PC, I strongly recommend installing the KotOR 1 Community Patch (which is also recommended in my Juhani Romance Guide) to fix many of the bugs with vanilla KotOR 1, including many of the bugs associated with Juhani's content.
who i can get the quest? I see on tatooine, and let it go, i'll try got them all the time
What do you mean by "you see on Tatooine, and let it go?" Did you encounter Xor the first time but he didn't show up to you for the second time?
Is that Revan-Oprah?
Wait... How did you get this quest happen on Manaan? I always get it on Korriban...
What is the order you do the main planets?
I usually do the main planets in this order: Tatooine > Kashyyk > Manaan > Korriban, so usually I am on Manaan when I progress Juhani's conversations far enough to trigger the Threat From Xor quest.
The planets don't matter they get triggered on any one of them for your companion side quest. It only matters how much you talk to them and when their stories get triggered
I know the selling suggestion is for those who are on the dark side run, but even on such runs, I never choose it.
Do you need the community patch to get it Xor to appear the second time? Ever since I heard of the Juhani romance I had always wanted to complete it, but to this day Xor has never reappeared for me across numerous playthroughs.
Edit: Actually, I just thought about something, I do remember hearing her conversation about Quatra and her falling to the dark side BEFORE encountering Xor and wonder if that somehow screwed it up the triggering.
As I said in the video description, use the Rapid Transit system to return to the Ebon Hawk to make Xor appear the second time. If you still cannot make Xor show up even with the Rapid Transit system, you might have encountered a bug and need the KotOR 1 Community Patch.
@@Leilukin I will have to try it, I downloaded the community patch and I hope it works because I absolutely love Kotor since my very first playthrough and it triggered me that the Xor's threat quest was never finished.
does it have to be on the same planet you found him first?@@Leilukin
@Jasandiz Yes.
The Jedi way for you: letting a dangerous murderer run free because _feewings._
Is this a mod? He was never a twilek for me, he was a human or mandalorian
Xor was a human in the original Xbox version, but for some reason the PC version changed Xor's species to a Twi'lek, so if you play on PC, you'll need my Human Xor Restoration mod, which is also included in the KotOR 1 Community Patch, to restore Xor's original human appearance.
well I'm playing it on my switch and I prefer to play this as the vanilla style game plus I'd rather keep from hacking my only switch also I've been researching Xor and why he shows up as a twi'lek and also why he shows up as a human if you choose the light side path you get him as a Twi'lek but the dark side path you seem to get him as a Human and my first playthrough im going light side so i got Xor as a Twi'lek on my switch so it's not a modded thing its just how the game was coded i'm looking forward to seeing how they do with the remake that they plan on releasing someday
Where did you get the idea that Xor being a human or a Twi'lek depending on if you play light or dark side? Do not spread such blatantly false information. As I said in my reply to another comment, Xor was originally a human in the Xbox version, but the PC version has changed him into a Twi'lek. I play the KotOR games on PC exclusively, and Xor is always a Twi'lek regardless of light or dark side unless I use a mod to change that. As a KotOR modder, I can also confirm that Xor is always a Twi'lek in the PC version, which is why I made a mod to change that.
So whatever videos or such you saw with Xor being a human, it must be either from the Xbox version of the game, or the user had used a mod to change Xor into human.
I don't play KotOR on mobile or Switch, but as far as I know those versions were ported from the PC version, which is why you get Xor as a Twi'lek.
Never been able to access juhanis sidequest.
You need to talk to Juhani as often as possible, preferably every time you level up, eventually you will get the "Threat from Xor" quest.
@@Leilukin Thank you. I'll try it

Is this quest bugged on the Xbox version?
Sorry, I have never played any of the KotOR games on Xbox so I don't know if all the bugs with the PC version is present in the Xbox version or not.
I can't find that guy for the second time, his spawn is random?
Have you tried using the Rapid Transit system on your map? If Xor still doesn't spawn, you might have encountered a bug. I would recommend downloading and installing KotOR 1 Community Patch, which fixes many bugs in KotOR 1, including those related to Xor. deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/
@@Leilukin thanks for the help
It is incredible you actually responded to my question after years from the publication!
I am a huge star wars fan but only recently I searched about the old republic, so I known wery little about this game
It's not wrong to have those feelings, it's wrong to act on them.
Xor was a Mandalorian in the Game, so kinda weird seeing a Twi’lek voicing these lines lol
This is totally unrelated to this video, other than it's about the KOTOR games, but I totally just realized something:
For some odd reason, there are no english (or Basic technically, since it's called that in the Star Wars canon) speaking aliens in KOTOR 2! Yet there are in the first game. I don't know, that just strikes me as really freaking odd, you know? I can understand some not speaking english, but every one in the second game speaks their race's language. I wonder why that is... was it because Obsidian didn't know that and just made every alien talk in the alien's language to save money or something?
More like Kotor² is more on the outer rim and you happen to find aliens that speak there own language.
Oh, actually, there is at least one alien who speaks Basic. Bao Dur, the Irridonian. And maybe the Miraluka counts too? Visas looks almost human, but she has no eyes, like the rest of her kind.
There are also the Handmaiden and her sisters. Echani and Miraluka are aliens, though they look more like humans than Zabraks (including Bao-Dur) do.
Wish he would pronounce it correctly. Its CathAR. Not CathAIR.
Ryan Elliott He’s racist, so keep in mind, why’d he care?
He probably pronounced it wrong on purpose to try and piss off Juhani.
What lightsaber is that
Whose lightsaber were you asking about? There are three Jedi in the video - Juhani, Bastila and my female player character.
If you were asking about my PC's lightsabers, they're from the Segan Wyndh's Longsabers mod: deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/91-segan-wyndhs-longsabers/
Leilukin oh ok
Twi leks are not human
Why is the quest so shitty? I returned to manaan but hes is not apearing? Wtf!!
Are you sure you have talked to Juhani enough to trigger the "Threaf From Xor" quest? If you have encountered Xor once, have you tried using the Rapid Trasnsit System? Have you checked out my Juhani romance guide linked in the video description?
