I tried this and LOVED IT especially over rice! PRO TIP: Don't add more starch if it doesn't thicken right away. Corn starch has to heat up before it gelatinizes. Just stir for a bit first. I did mess up by adding too much corn starch and the sauce started to taste like chalk Fixed it by adding more hoisen, honey and brown sugar and a tad more water. Came out great

Hey man! Love your channel. I made this recipe for the second time last time, but this time I added a teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice and it really made it! The notes of cinnamon really upped the flavor! So if you think of it try adding some next time, just a suggestion ! I loved it

I made this tonight and my EXTREMELY picky 10 year old absolutely loved it and had two bowls! I couldn't believe it. I still kind of don't. Just wanted to say thank you!! So far I've made your blue ribbon chilli, beef stew and now a fussy boy approved chicken teriyaki. All were amazing.

It's so funny the difference between coasts. Here in Seattle, chicken teriyaki is bbq'd or grilled marinated chicken thighs, sliced up and a thick syrupy teriyaki sauce dumped on top. It's the main reason I don't like local teriyaki so I'm excited to try yours! But tonight, I'm trying your Ram-Don.
