Nice video. Simple, concise, not too much information overload, not too much unnecessary talking. And budget friendly recommendations in the end. Please make for curl creams as well.

curlvana gel stopped working for me a month or so ago and wouldn't even form a cast easily at all and just be sticky. I think it over moisturises my hair. Then I started using manetain hard hold gel and it works much better and the scent doesnt linger either

I use a small amount of moxie curl cream because it moisturises and defines my hair which is mostly 2b but if I put too much it feels crunchy once dry

could it be because of the silicone in curlvana? This is why I am strictly silicon free.

crunchiness is probably from dryness, but it’s not so bad. You can always scrunch out the crunch once dry. but if you’re saying a cream is making your hair crunchy, then that’s a little bit oxymoron experience because creams are supposed to moisturise and soften, but this is giving you the opposite effect?

but honestly half these gels I'm not even sure theyre sold in india. Boucleme curl cream seems to be 13,000 rupees on amazon and the gel is nowhere in sight.. only giovanni LA hold and manetain hard hold gels are ones Ive even seen sold online here..

*manetain volume if talking abt the video, I first thought it was the hard hold one in thumbnail, Ive only tried hard hold one and it worked for me. I don't like strong smells so I haven't tried giovanni LA hold gel Ive heard it smells strong like lavender

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! As a curly hair blogger, I genuinely believe in showcasing products that deliver great results, no matter where they’re from. I test everything, including many of the Indian brands you’ve mentioned, to see if they can meet the high standards I know my audience expects. While I love featuring Indian products when they work well, I’m committed to only promoting what truly performs. My goal is always to help you find what really works for your curls, so I’ll continue sharing honest recommendations, wherever they come from. Thanks again for being part of this journey with me!
