I installed my H4 lamps 2 days ago and tonight Ive tested them, noticed that on low I was too hight and on high I was way too low. saw your video and realised i have putted them upside down, nowhere on installation instructions mentions that, it only says be sure and install them vertically, you saved me thanks!
Thanks a lot, you installed it in a perfect and simple way, you inspired me to reinstall it by your way, it was the entire light including fan inside the cover boot and the cable of tight was run through the cover boot to connect it with the plug, but now it is like your way
Well, I did install a pair of H4 Led yesterday on my 97 Impreza, and did not make attention for the shield you told about on the video. Now I know why my High Beans are pointed to the ground LOL. Thanks a buch for the tips mah dude, you're amazing.
I installed the collar ass-backwards and then modified the danged spring only to realize I had installed it backwards then had to fix my fix to the spring and the collar (it wasn't metal so I carved out a notch for the spring 🙄). The instructions for the brand I purchased before I saw this video have the shield facing upwards ... weird, ay. I struggled with getting the rubber boot and the light to cooperate. I don't think the light well is water tight but with the big back end (that's what he said), there weren't a lot of options.
Thanks for the video! I just got these, and the instructions do not say whether the "shield" should be UP or DOWN; mine can be oriented EITHER way as long as the LEDs face 3 and 9 o'clock. Should the shield be at the bottom or at the top?
Turns out, it makes zero difference. I tried it both ways with night time tests, and regardless of shield direction (up or down) the low and the high beams respectively showed no change in angles lit, intensity, and throw distance. That explans why the packaging did not specify.
Thanks for the great video. I installed the whole light and ran the plug cable through the cover boot so the entire light including fan part is inside the boot. Do you think I need to reinstall to get the fan on the outside so it can dissipate more heat or just not even install the book if I can't get the light through it?
I tried some LEDs in my 2015 ford ranger and it tripped out my BCM(body control module) and only the high beams worked after that. Is there any way to stop that from happening??
You may have to use something like this. Might not be the same light model but you get the idea. I’d contact the seller or manufacturer. www.amazon.com/Xprite-Anti-Flicker-Headlight-Flickering-Conversion/dp/B07XDR53MJ
I have the same car but an 05 I have used a couple different LED lights now and from some reason I only get the high beam no low beam. Are you about to change between high and low with that brand?
@@subtledriver i never buy fake, because i only buy from original manufacture and testing every models, not the fake model as on aliexpress, wih and ebay
@subtledriver Great instructional video!!! But failed in the end not showing actual down road fiction between original Hal. bulb and LED. That's where the money meets the road and a TRUE COMPARISON in your face demonstration.

Thank you. There’s another video with a guy who overcomplicates telling up from down. You made it perfectly clear in five seconds. Thanks!!!
No problem man!
Exactly!! Why is that so hard to describe!? Shield on the bottom, thanks for the video bro
Thanks for the upload. Best and clearest instruction I've seen. Even better than the manufacturer's video. Lol

Best video I have found all day thanks mate 👍
I think I just installed mine upside down tonight. Gonna have to change that tomorrow in afraid
"that's what she said" 2:50 lol
The Fire Department was a little premature there... Lol... As far as the wiring I recommend dielectric grease and a zip tie to hold that together...
Hi congrats for the excellent info. My question is: which is the properly led white bulb for my hyundai kona SE 2023. Thank you so much.

Excellent.. Good tips and tricks.. Thanks
Are you still using the lasfit LED bulbs how have they held up ?? I’m curious I need some for my truck please let me no thanks ..
Thanks for the video!

Bottom, i checked mine and compated it with the shield of regular bulbs. The regular ones got the at the bottom as well
Bottom dummy like halogen

I decided not to re-install the boot to allow maximum air flow
If you fuck with the led bulb enough its not gonna work out well. Why would you put your hands all over the bulb?
Its c6 oem originally
Do they gonna convert your housing into a dustbin ????

Not sure if you found an answer, but I believe some manufacturers require a system with a CANBUS to eliminate module errors.

Ebay? Hid is old tech. If you find one, get a lasfit d2 retrofit to led.
Identical to C6 led bulbs

I'm sorry, your shaking gives me anxiety

pretty good video but you need to show the downroad light output - halogen vs LED side by side on a dark road - thumbs down until I see this
low quality kit with price 4 usd bad beam pattern, not stable brightness
maybe you bought a fake one. Lots of fake lasfit on ebay. be careful.

What car and kit did you use? I've used and tested dozens of brands myself and installed in hundreds of test vehicles.
@@subtledriver every H4 and H7 cars with clasic headlamp or with projector lens..best led headlight kit are model X7, M1, F2, G11F, GTR, C320

Yes I agree…I watched 4 other videos about LED installs and this is the best by far…😊😊😊👍👍👍
