i think when i go with a pro level controller... gonna go with the rev5. the motorized turntables are just not turntable feeling enough.

Great review...I just purchased mine to replace my DDJ-SX3 and waiting patiently. So glad that you check to see if the Rev 5 can fit in a Rev 7 case. I was worried that I would have to buy or mod my Rev 7 case. Curious, compared to the Rev 7, is the Rev 5 a heavy controller? I'm in NYC and I'm mostly going to carry this all over the city

I just do not like the power block! should use standard IEC. I understand why but as a mobile DJ this may be an issue and It was for "Dj Unstopable Gig Log 3 reasons why I don't like the pioneer Rev7 Part 1"
Think you got it wrong there bro. The connection is USB Type C so you can use ANY adapter with 45w power and above with ANY usb type C cord to power this thing. Unlike all other pioneer gear and even other brands where you have to go look even for an IEC connection. This is using USB type C, a game changer… You can literally use your MacBook charger which will be more than powerful enough or even a powerful type C power bank
