I thought she was adorable. I didn’t care for her “Charlie’s Angels” performances, but she became a really good actress. I loved her in “The Burning Bed.” ♥️
She manages to keep up, though. The way Judy, Marilyn or Anna Nicole would. They could go along with the joke at their expense and some how still he charming playing into their wit.
She was my inspiration during my battle. I'll never forget her saying she doesn't like saying getting old sucks because some people don't get that chance. She was a lady.
I was trying to think of who she reminded me of on this appearance.... you are so right. Her voice especially... I remember feeling sad for her when she did this
Philippa Cowhig-Morris ...me too I agree with you... Perhaps she s playing the role of Marilyn, she giving a tribut to Marilyn....(playboy ....a soft voice...her not so long gold hair...) A blond actrice tributes another blond myth...
I remember watching this with my mother and asking if she was on drugs. That was the first thing I thought. Even prescription pain pills can make you like this. Anyway, she got the last laugh because I understand that issue of Playboy was the biggest selling issue in its history. And she was 49/50 at the time! So good on her!
M.J. Leger It's all part of the package. She was born with that "hair" - just like she was born with some acting talent. Beauty is something very praised in Hollywood. Her beauty was therefore also part of her talent, as it helped her tremendously to reach fame and succeed as a well known actress.
M.J. Leger You're the one who brought up hair in the first place. In any case, she can dye her hair any color she wants and will still look great (I don't even like blond hair, by the way) - it's still her hair. And as an actress, she would have to take on different roles that may require a different look from her every now and then, when she was alive, of course. What really gave her her good looks, to me, was her smile and her good figure. She also had sexy big hair, which no hair dye can take credit for. Whatever hair products she may have used don't really matter anyway, since one needs very special, manageable hair to get such good results to start with - which she had.
She was so beautiful. So very sad for her to pass away so young. She died on the same day as Michael Jackson and I didn't feel she got the recognition she deserved. Her departure sadly seemed to pass under the radar. I remember you, Farrah, as do many others. RIP xxx 🥀 🥀🥀
Damn! I wonder what the bookie odds on that happening were? With Kurt Kobain and River Phoenix they were HUGE? !! The queen and David Attenborough. . .if that happened on Xmas day..you had £20 down..jeeeze..
Very very true. I have always felt bad for her memory regarding that. If rremembered correctly she died like about 4 to 6 hours or so before MJ did, and the media was reporting it profusely...that is until a bigger passing cast her in the shadow. Less iconic celebs have gotten more attention. She showed so much strength and grace in her last few months alive. Rip Farrah.
I thought she was suffering from sleep depravation too. If it was hard core drugs she wouldn't be able to talk at all. If she was drunk she probably wouldn't have been able to shut up. The fact that she kept forgetting and losing her train of thought tells me she was severely sleep deprived.
This aired in 1999. Farrah wasn’t diagnosed with cancer until 2006. If she was on drugs, so be it. Hollywood pumps drugs into people like crazy. She wasn’t the only one. May she rest ❤️
@@jammin6816 it is written in 1Cor 10:13, 'No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.' So, it says temptations do indeed overtake all of us. But... even in that state of enslavement, God always provides a way out. Look for it, it will be there. But the time between when we have succumbed and when we have escaped, we must endure, with the hope that God, if no other, wants us to be free. Not surprised. This man is not a good journalist. He came into this conversation with preconceived ideas. He knew who she was before she even opened her mouth. He came on vision to have dumb conversation. Seems to be dumber then the person he interviewed who he thought was dumb.
This was done shorty after she found out that Ryan O'Neal was cheating on her with an 18 yer old nanny and he dumped her. Maybe she was on something mild or she had a drink to relax. Maybe she was just nervous. No one knows for sure. She was always being interrupted and had no time to think before Letterman started putting words into her mouth interrupting her train of thought.
Even Ryan took up for her in a later interview, but WHO allowed her to go on stage. That person should have been downright fired. Let's take care of our entertainers, folks. They bring us so much joy. Even at their worst, they give so much of themselves, you know.
I totally believe she is, you know. Farah learned from her mistakes and she was a courageous, kindhearted human being. From what everyone says she was "very giving".
Farrah was such a beautiful gorgeous and amazing woman, she comes from an exciting yet prosperous time in the entertainment industry a true southern bell from Dallas Tx, Ryan O’Neil never deserved her, he really broke her down, May her precious Soul Rest In Peace 💖
I saw this in real time and she came across as someone on anti-anxiety meds. She managed to be gorgeous, charming, and funny and she's keeping track of the conversation. He was the annoying one, and I caught her eyeroll at the end of this clip. What's sad to me is the way she kept looking to Paul for a lifeline. Letterman was lucky to have her on the show.
@@beetlejuice4357 just because she was laughing doesn't mean she thought it was funny. She came across to me as nervous/anxious and uncomfortable. The constant interruptions certainly didn't help.
@Thomas Troy First, I have no idea what you are asking. Second, boy juice or boy butter!?!? Lmao 🤣😂😅 Thank you I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
1/01/21 Hi Lisa re: Farrah Fawcett on letterman. You hit it perfectly with your analogy on letterman and side kick, Paul. Letterman was and most likely still a snobbish prick. Good New Year to you !
Perhaps. With that much stage fright, it would’ve be in her best interest to not do it. She was an adult, after all. Doesn’t that count fir something? There’s a lot to be said for personal RESPONSIBILITY. People seem to have forgot what that is, now days.
On June 5, 1997, Fawcett received negative commentary after giving a rambling interview and appearing distracted on Late Show with David Letterman. Months later, she told the host of The Howard Stern Show her behavior was just her way of joking around with the television host, partly in the guise of promoting her Playboy pictoral and video, explaining what appeared to be random looks across the theater was just her looking and reacting to fans in the audience. Though the Letterman appearance spawned speculation and several jokes at her expense, she returned to the show two years later in 1999, with success, and several years later, after Joaquin Phoenix's mumbling act[47] on a February 2009 appearance on The Late Show, Letterman wrapped up the interview by saying, "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight" and recalled Fawcett's earlier appearance by noting "We owe an apology to Farrah Fawcett."[48]
I can’t stand most talk show hosts- egos so big and forget that their guests are the talent. Without the stars, the talk show hosts would not have jobs. Letterman is an example of a total tosser taking advantage of a vulnerable star, RIP Farrah.
They go on talk shows as part of their contracts to promote their latest movie or show. They should have enough respect and not show up WASTED on a tv show.
@@misspm8157 they show up wasted because they’re subject to the opinion of the world and the jokes made by the host. That’s a lot of pressure on a person who has a lot of problems to begin with. Most celebrities go on these shows fucked up but it’s not noticeable because they have addictions to them
Such a rude host and audience! She's trying to speak and they keep interrupting her and laughing at her. Grow up people! "Never blow out someone else’s candle to try and make yours shine brighter" Steven Aitchison Rest in peace beautiful lady. ❤
She's such an angel. Love everything about her She fought a brave battle with cancer and Dave was caught for cheating on his pregnant partner with his interns. He's trashy
Farrah was a human being, not an angel (unless you meant she acted as one of "Charlie's Angels" in the 70s TV show?). How do you know.....everything.....about her? You don't. Neither do I. I was a big fan of her's when I was a kid in the 70s. Had a poster of her on my bedroom wall. Farrah was stunningly, naturally beautiful, even in this video she is 50 years old and looks no older than 28. What I do know about her is heart breaking. She would have been taught the "four last things" as a catechized Catholic, which she was. Death. Judgment. Hell. Heaven. For ALL of us. I pray her soul rests in peace. Just prayed for her now. Verbum Via Veritas Vita
@Rick Armstrong Christianity is not the problem, just because some people do not follow it properly. Your being judgemental is a problem however, and not being forgiving of others faults is a problem
The producer should not have let Farrah go on that night as it is obvious she is high and struggling to speak. Dave did his best to keep the interview in check, but this is painful to watch.
A friend of mine was Farrah's "keeper" on a film a few years before she died. My friend just fell in love with her, and said she was very sweet, kind, nice, but also very fragile like delicate crystal, all my friend wanted to do was protect her during the time they worked together.
I saw the interview that night and thought that Letterman was very cruel to mock her when she was so ill. I stopped watching him altogether because he treated his guests like that.
@@KandiLand84 She appeared on the Letterman show while she was sick and under medication and he mocked her for being confused. Media pundits wrote about it the next day-- before she made her condition public.
If you look it up this was 1997 she was first diagnosed in 2006 she told the media months later this is 10 yrs before. She was not on meds for cancer yet unless you are speaking of something else but everything I have looked up she was other wise healthy around then
This is an incredibly fun and engaging interview. Farrah looks beautiful. Anyone can draw a mental blank and not be under the influence of anything. I hope she was having fun. I admire how she ultimately stayed in control and rose above both David and a few overly enthusiastic audience members. In my opinion, when all is said and done, she comes out the winner.
Menopause is a terrible thing in the mental fog can be unnerving at times and it's totally hormonal. Nervousness of being interviewed can also cause this doesn't mean she's on dope just because she's not expressing ideas like a well-oiled machine reading cue cards.
I know people that act like this and aren’t under the influence they are just kinda ditzy my moms a lot like this so did her mom and so do I. I’ve had people ask me too if I’m on drugs before and I’m not. At the same time though nervousness and brain damage/head injury can cause this type of behavior as well.
I don't mean to criticize her but living in sin with Ryan is not a good life. Plus she was into new age. I'm pretty certain she made peace with Jesus before she died.
“Drugged?” What a messed up thing to say. This woman showed more grace, strength and dignity when she was ill and dying than most could have done under much lesser circumstances!
She seems *very* anxious...I recognize the body movements from panic attacks, as I have them. I've even slapped my face to try to get out of a panic attack. I tend to pull my ear even, for some reason. I also feel as if she's quite uncomfortable & upset by how the interviewer & audience continuously mock her. This is *very* disgusting & disrespectful of them. What a beautiful soul she is. RIP angel. ♡
You nailed it She wasn't drugged up. She was nervous and had nervous energy and Dave and his audience were poking and laughing at her. I know the feeling...
My generations Marilyn Monroe. Gone too soon. When was 16 yo and living in Redondo Beach, CA , I went down to King Harbor to see the filming of Cannonball Run, a 1970's movie in which she appeared with Burt Reynolds. I watched Burt do his scene in which he, for some odd reason, had 3 different changes of wardrobe. So Burt did his first take and they cut. Then he took off his pants and underneath were his second wardrobe change. I was surprised to see that. But then after that set of wardrobe had it's part, they cut and he did it again. He had on three pairs of pants at once. He was so skinny (cocaine was bug back then). I have never scene it again since then and I work on movies. So after that I was walking around checking things out ( watched Dom Deloise's kids fish for crabs). As I walked back to find my friends, I see a huge crowd hovering around someone as they were all heading in my direction. So I stopped and waited to see who it was. Guess who. The lovely and very thin Farah Fawcett-Majors. My bathroom poster in the flesh. Well, I just looked and looked as she walked right up to me and ask me if I would please walk with her to her trailer. Homina Homina. I was speechless but obedient. When we got there she kissed me and said thank you. The End.
I remember that show filming in Redondo when I lived there! I missed it but my dad stopped by there and saw her and he did say that she was very very pretty in person. Wow, I’ll bet your friends enjoyed your story. Well, maybe not as much as you did lol. That’s quite a memory. Thanks for sharing. Wait til I tell my husband lol!
She was just a beautiful sweet innocent soul. That’s how I will always remember her. I don’t think she was drugged at all. I just think she was being her sweet innocent beautiful Farrah.
@@Lewdacris916 she seems like she had a drink or 2. crack would've had her all over the place. but i'm sure you'd know that with all your crackhead experience.
Laure Mehrkens - But you know, when he first started, he was very hip and cool! We all watched, and laughed at him at work the next morning! He was insane, but not like he is here! He must have had some kind of brain fart or flip or something, because in the later years all he did was piss us off! I remember him making fun of Hootie and the Blowfish when they were new. They came out, and Darius Rucker blew them all away with that giant wonderful voice he has. I don’t know if DL was embarrassed because he acted like an asshole or not, but he looked like one, anyway!
Surely you know she's elsewhere and life is good for her .. Can't understand why people won't let this gig pay on out .. It's over .. She's gone..Daves gone..Shows gone.. Get over it .. Farrah blew it .. Or her people .. Dave just saved it .. Cause that's what talk show hosts do if possible .. She in my opinion was a truffle medicated and acted accordingly .. Dave saved her with his dry wit .. accordingly .. Now let it be .. It's HOLLYWOOD In its finest hour .. BB
This is soo disrespectful to her. She's obviously struggling, very much so, and Lettermen is doing what he always does...snarky smug canabalism. Can't stand this opportunistic lech.
Regardless if Farrah was on anything, She was and will be a Icon. With being such a famous person, everyone will have something to say whether it’s good or bad. She was my favorite and we have to respect other, just because we watch the actors on television doesn’t mean that they don’t have a life outside that camera. Respect the Icon that you say you love and show it with respect. RIP FARRAH. Love you forever
MUCH SMARTER and MORE CLASS than most celebs out there today!!- She had a kind & gentle nature...never spoke bad about anyone. Never shoved herself at the paparazzi...COULD have.. but DIDNT!- She was classy and sweet....
David Letterman is a joke. Not everyone can do interviews. They get nervous as she is. He is doing nothing to make her feel comfortable. He should be ashamed of himself. RIP Farrah.
but if a person is irresponsible enough while on a publicity tour to appear on a talk show while on illegal drugs they should be made fun off. Yes we all know that Farrah died young which is sad and our sympathies with her but her behavior here is not due to chemotherapy, this interview was done before she developed cancer. Her behavior here is due to illegal drugs. She is setting a bad example
Yeah, he got her high. Her handlers are to blame. He's just being his silly self. The show was about abstact, dry, different comedy. And what's the problem she sounds pretty sane compared to today's liberal woke wack jobs.
I had the biggest crush on Farrah Fawcett when I was five years old back in the 70's & that never diminished even after she'd gone. Rest in peace beautiful princess. Your light shined oh so bright, and people may have criticised you from time to time but if they had sampled what God had gifted you with - just for a day - You never would have had been given any negativity in later years, you never deserved that! As perfect on the inside as you were the out. To me they'll never be another like you @):-
Honestly I feel sorry for her.It seems she needed help not what they done.Never judge a person you never know what’s happening in their lives.Rest In Peace Farrah Love you.
Exactly! Once you get manipulated and in the grasp on the puppet masters, then it is very difficult to get out and the easiest way to have moments of peace is to get drunk or high! She along with thousands of actresses and celebrities, was just a plaything and money making business for "them"
it's not too hard to judge. People and hollywood... they are broken.... broken, spiritually bankrupt, vacated bags of meat.... until they die and start over, OR, leave fame... where they reconnect (in either case) I have love for the spirit that's hidden underneath tho
i hate the way the audience is belittling her.In the 70's every man wanted her and every woman wanted to be her. That hair cut was probably the most popular ever. She was a good actress. rip.
SUGAR XYLER It's called platium! She was platium blonde like a lot of famous blonde models and actresses. Madonna, Marlyn Monroe, Jean Harlow Mae West to name a few.
passion4posh I agree w everything you say UP to she was a good actress. W a few fortunate exceptions, I am of a different opinion. Not so good. How did she ever make it?
mckavitt Farrah showed she had real chops in the made for television movie..'The Burning Bed.' It's a riveting movie about the all too common hidden abuse in some marriages. It was based on a true story, and Farrah transformed herself totally into the character of the woman she was portraying. A complete departure from the glamour and fluff stuff that she is mostly known for. I respect the fact that she was willing to let herself be completely stripped down..with no make-up, nor high-end hair style, or designer clothes to be seen. Give it a watch when you get some spare time, and see for yourself. (Yup, I gotta admit that I was Very pleasantly surprised myself...I'd have never guessed Farrah had that level of dramatic acting in her!...But she Did!)😉
I am a Letterman fan, but he could be snarky and a bit mean at times. He got better, but I think he owed her an apology, out of kindness if nothing else.RIP
Always Frightening to see what Hollywood does to women. What a sweet gal, reduced to a skeleton animated by pharmaceuticals. Like the walking dead. RIP Farrah. So glad you’re free now!
My heart goes out to her as well. She was probably struggling so hard just to keep things together at this point. Deep down I think she was such a good soul and a caring, respectful, loving person. Very sincere. I think anyone who could have taken advantage of her probably tried.
My friend of 35 years is fighting stage 4 cancer.. in his lungs, brain, and spine.. yes the drugs make you a bit tipsy. But without them you don't even have the strength to walk and talk. Shame on anyone who thinks this is funny
Did she not belittle herself by getting high before a major talk show? Letterman is comedic personality that brings attention to things for laughs. She should have cancelled.

@@trend-o-rama_studios Well, just in case, I didn't discount what you said about her that night or her team. I wanted to expound on Letterman's reputation, as it plays a role...
She was being herself I’m hoping David realizes now he was using her and humiliating her. 😢 She trusted him and she called him on it. You could see it in her face when they discussed her birthday, she realized she was being disrespected. 😢
Lee Flood No, she and Ryan were big druggies and had a son Redmond who also developed a drug habit. I wish people would accept this fact in life without being in denial. You can see that she is emaciated. She and Ryan were into coke.
@Boris Johnson Are you Zainab Nawal? That showed up in my inbox. Weird. You change your name often? What is "sad" is having druggie parents. I doubt he is "spoiled." It's called being deprived of love.
No, in fact Letterman here is really honest and polite (as he is) in helping her through the segment. You can see that right at the beginning of their chat, when he realizes at 0:58 that she ain't quite sober. Of course, at some point there he first just can't help himself, but you can definitely tell David wasn't expecting Fawcett to put both into this kind of situation. To me, everyone who is saying Letterman capitalizes on this situation ain't watching closely enough. He is undemandable towards Farrah, even uncomfortable with his own audience at times. But he can't just appeal to the audience what would have caused Fawcett to actually KNOW they laugh seriously at her. Fawcett thinks David is making fun of her because the audience is laughing all the time. But it's the audience laughing without David doing anything. When Fawcett addresses David making fun of her you can see Letterman isn't happy about that twist, but he just can't do anything but to roll on. In fact, that's the only way to keep the situation healthy for both of them, so he is acting class, protecting her and taking the blame. But he then again acts properly and naturally to Fawcett sweetly blundering herself here and there. And you still have to remember - then again it's Letterman, he just IS razor sharp, but that's what he's ever been all about.
I agree with you. Everyone is ragging on Dave and acting like he was demeaning to her when he wasn't.... you can see the moment he realizes she is 'not quite right' and yet he kind of muddles through trying to be funny.... the audience was laughing at her and her behavior, it had nothing to do with Dave..... I thought he was 'trying' to react in the best way possible given the circumstances, while still keeping it a comedy show.....
Great comment. That is exactly what was happening, but a lot of ppl just look without really watching. They aren't seeing what's going on "big picture". He had to step in a couple times and kinda "save" the segment, but it cldnt be helped. I wouldn't be at my 100% either and she was great as she always was. Not too sure why more ppl didn't see what you saw. Dave is a true professional at this no matter what guest, or circumstance.
In my opinion great analysis! Your argument is detailed and supported with examples. I do not think many people can and or care to observe what actually transpires in their daily lives. I have this same characteristic, sometimes it has been praised other times I think people realize I can see past their artifice and it scares them.
+zubery. hard to tell , isn't it? I dont know, she was a smart lady and a really talented actor. She just sounds so (pardon me, please) fucked up in this interview. I hated to see people laughing AT her.
Check her "talent" in the movie "The Burning Bed" also her "talent" in "Extremities" .... She WAS indeed talented and she was a decent person. Was she on something in this interview? maybe.... But there is no way to make the assertion that "she couldn't act at all". She was married to Lee Majors when the role in Charlie's Angels came along.....I know someone that was very close to her....she did NOT sleep around to get a role. May she rest in peace.
+DittoMike1 I agree with you completely. The first thing i really remember her in (post Charlie's Angels) was a tv movie called Murder in Texas which was based on the true crime book, Blood and Money. She was fascinating as the posh, well-bred Joan Robinson Hill who was slowly poisoned to death by her psychotic doctor husband (played very creepily and wonderfully by Sam Elliott). Check it out and also Small Sacrifices (another true crime story about whack job Diane Downs who tried to murder her 3 kids.)

She kind of reminds me of Marilyn Monroe... not in the double initials way either, just in a vunerable, soft, sweet way !
Soooo agreed.

In this clip, absolutely.
I was trying to think of who she reminded me of on this appearance.... you are so right. Her voice especially... I remember feeling sad for her when she did this
Philippa Cowhig-Morris ...me too I agree with you...
Perhaps she s playing the role of Marilyn, she giving a tribut to Marilyn....(playboy ....a soft voice...her not so long gold hair...)
A blond actrice tributes another blond myth...
@ExpectantHarvest go away..
What a sweet childlike woman dhe was. Some get aggressive when on drugs, some rude. She is tender and so breakable it hurts.
She was such a sweetheart ❤️
She was so incredibly vulnerable in this interview....💛
Poor Farrah. She was such a sweet girl. Beautiful, sexy and talented.
Rest in peace, Farrah Fawcett.
Your a fucking freak commenting like you know her
NOT that talented, sold by her hair!
M.J. Leger It's all part of the package. She was born with that "hair" - just like she was born with some acting talent. Beauty is something very praised in Hollywood. Her beauty was therefore also part of her talent, as it helped her tremendously to reach fame and succeed as a well known actress.
"Born with that hair!" She was born with brown hair before the "bottle blond" came! Look at her dark roots beneath that mop!
The guy controlling the audience did a very bad job at taming those awful hyenas.
It's part of the show asshole🤔

Very very true. I have always felt bad for her memory regarding that. If rremembered correctly she died like about 4 to 6 hours or so before MJ did, and the media was reporting it profusely...that is until a bigger passing cast her in the shadow. Less iconic celebs have gotten more attention. She showed so much strength and grace in her last few months alive. Rip Farrah.
She had pancreatic cancer
You can tell she was a very sweet woman. Beautiful beyond words. RIP ♥
She was under a lot of stress and Redmond was in drug treatment. She was stressed out. The audience and Dave are exploiting her. She seems exhausted.

So, it says temptations do indeed overtake all of us. But... even in that state of enslavement, God always provides a way out. Look for it, it will be there. But the time between when we have succumbed and when we have escaped, we must endure, with the hope that God, if no other, wants us to be free. Just watched a the New Yorker about the original woman it was based on
She was great in jewel as well! Very moving performance. She was beautiful and extremely talented! ♥️ Farrah!
This really upsets me with how they treating her.
Huh ??
Theres no way that I would ever cheat on her if id had the chance! Was he nuts!!!
Even Ryan took up for her in a later interview, but WHO allowed her to go on stage. That person should have been downright fired. Let's take care of our entertainers, folks. They bring us so much joy. Even at their worst, they give so much of themselves, you know.

Hi Lisa re: Farrah Fawcett on letterman.
Though the Letterman appearance spawned speculation and several jokes at her expense, she returned to the show two years later in 1999, with success, and several years later, after Joaquin Phoenix's mumbling act[47] on a February 2009 appearance on The Late Show, Letterman wrapped up the interview by saying, "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight" and recalled Fawcett's earlier appearance by noting "We owe an apology to Farrah Fawcett."[48]
yea and I mean she’s definitely anorexic
I can’t stand most talk show hosts- egos so big and forget that their guests are the talent. Without the stars, the talk show hosts would not have jobs. Letterman is an example of a total tosser taking advantage of a vulnerable star, RIP Farrah.
They go on talk shows as part of their contracts to promote their latest movie or show. They should have enough respect and not show up WASTED on a tv show.
@@misspm8157 they show up wasted because they’re subject to the opinion of the world and the jokes made by the host. That’s a lot of pressure on a person who has a lot of problems to begin with. David Letterman has done this to his guests on a frequent basis, he's a pathetic excuse for a tall show host.

The End.

My Dad was in college with her. University of Texas Austin. He said she was a sweetheart. Very loving and caring
Always Frightening to see what Hollywood does to women. What a sweet gal, reduced to a skeleton animated by pharmaceuticals. Like the walking dead. RIP Farrah. So glad you’re free now!
Lynne Christiansen she has cancer and she’s wearing a wig xx
She's beautiful
It's possible she would rather be alive than "free now".

@joshythehand2960 God bless your friend. 🙏🏻
Farrah was just too sweet for this world. RIP, Farrah.
I remember this, I couldn’t even watch the whole interview. So sad he used her and belittled her that way.
Did she not belittle herself by getting high before a major talk show?
Letterman is comedic personality that brings attention to things for laughs. She should have cancelled.

"Dave" is also very much (publicly) maligned for his outwardly misogynistic behavior(s). He just never bothered to conceal it; and I'm almost certain it wouldn't fly today..
@@sherriebrand1771 Her managers and handlers failed her. By the sounds of it, they should have never allowed her to do the show sober or otherwise. I never thought this interview was funny and surprised it is on RUclips. Seems like bullying.
@@trend-o-rama_studios Well, just in case, I didn't discount what you said about her that night or her team. I wanted to expound on Letterman's reputation, as it plays a role...
@@sherriebrand1771 Now that I am an adult, I do not find him entertaining or amusing. Seems too schticky
She was being herself I’m hoping David realizes now he was using her and humiliating her. 😢 She trusted him and she called him on it. You could see it in her face when they discussed her birthday, she realized she was being disrespected. 😢
Beautiful and Splendid an Icon from the Best of Times!😙
Farrah was a beautiful lady and full of grace . She fought her battle with cancer with courage and dignity . RIP 💕
What a complete fool this man is. What a sweet woman she was.
How is he a fool? She was not coherent in the story telling. She is hopping up like tweeking can't sit still, clearly not sober.
I never ever liked him, quite the jerk, he was also a sex offender.
He's an idiot.
@@nicolejennings8389 It's called nervous energy. Some people get it bad and when there's an audience laughing at you, it only ramps it up.

Farah seems absolutely fine she’s just having Anixety problems
Lee Flood No, she and Ryan were big druggies and had a son Redmond who also developed a drug habit. I wish people would accept this fact in life without being in denial. You can see that she is emaciated. She and Ryan were into coke.
@Boris Johnson Are you Zainab Nawal? That showed up in my inbox. Weird. You change your name often? What is "sad" is having druggie parents. I doubt he is "spoiled." It's called being deprived of love.
She was just nervous and adorable. Who ccares if she had to relax before the show? Those not guilty, throw the first stone....
That is spot fuckin on. WOw. Great analysis.
In my opinion great analysis! Your argument is detailed and supported with examples. I do not think many people can and or care to observe what actually transpires in their daily lives. I have this same characteristic, sometimes it has been praised other times I think people realize I can see past their artifice and it scares them.
agreed she says Im sorry, and he smiles and says That's alright," very kind very patient. She's stoned
she was so sweet she act like michael jackson.. very innocent mind. simply beautiful may she rest in peace
callie1on1 ironically her and Mike passed away on the same day. 😪 I love MJ.
callie1on1 I agree
I always loved Farrah. This interview makes me sad....
it's rather odd, in a way it seems like she's doing it on purpose, like an act...
+zubery. hard to tell , isn't it?

She's so classy.
She was a real 😇 Angel...
Her acting performances, her artwork and her modelling are all beautiful and flawless.
Pretty sad, you can see her health is already compromised here, and maybe (probably) on meds.
Let her rest in peace.
Agreed.
She got ill 10 years later.
mk-ultra victim
I saw this interview that night and my heart broke for her. She was so vulnerable.
Rhonda Marsh Onstage why in the hell did her handlers allow her to be there in first place. What a horrible legacy
NO! she brought a KID into her messed up world and screwed him up too so he ended on drugs and in jail ! Any consenting adult can drug themselves up as much as they want, but it makes me so mad when they BRING KIDS INTO THEIR MESS!!
@@oliverdesvaux - really ??
@Joe Jordan probably the OP is a fan of Farrah's and probably she is on the soft hearted/forgiving side as opposed to the more no nonsense side. Cause I feel the same way, I feel bad for her as well.
@@oliverdesvaux do you repeat the same comment a dozen times on every video you comment on? You're definitely a doushe that enjoys running others down but only behind their backs or when they're dead. It's my belief that if you would stfu it would really be great. I think you have made your point and gotten the attention you obviously desperately needed a multitude of times now. It's easy to judge someone else when you have no idea what their lives truly consisted of. I highly doubt that you have always made the correct decisions and nothing has ever unexpectedly happened either. You're the envy of everyone being all perfect and stuff. Bet your a blast to be around
What a disgraceful attitude and a way to treat someone struggling with recall and processing, for whatever reason. Humans can be so unkind.
