I like how it’s designed for everyone to enjoy it. Like getting through the entire game to see all it has is amazing. Some games have great content later in the story that some players never get to because of rage quitting or the controls are so complexed that if you play another game it’s hard to return to, to complete so you have to start over.
There are more exciting and surprising things happening as you progress the story. It's even more awesome than Vatican. Himalayans, Siam, land of Pharos and Shanghai waiting for you guys to discovers. The only word I can put is WOW.

Its not tomb raider/uncharted. It is a real Indiana jones game. It actually feels like Indiana jones. Some action but mostly exploration and solving indiana jones ask puzzels. Some Indiana jones action but not over to top, a good cluncky I would say. People complain about its stealth and I can admit not great it almost feels hitman ask but instead of a target you explore, solve puzzles and meet interesting cool side characters.

As a PC player, thank you to all the players who rejected Xbox and created Microsoft's need for a new business model that hits wider demographics. I really enjoy getting to play Microsoft titles day one on PC, getting to take advantage of Game Pass, and even the hottest single player games that Sony provides at a later release schedule. Its not a action/adventure which i probably would prefer but im ok this game looks cool. I think one of the things that resonates over and over from early reviews.....YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR INDY! I'm stuck in Egypt now and got jumped by at least a dozen Nazis.
I seen a comment on DF channel where DF tech breakdown of the Great Circle in which the commenter made a statement saying ID tech engine should be the standard for video game developers, industry wide. I completely agree with the comment. 60 FPS with some of the best visuals I have ever seen in a video game. Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is my Game of Year for a multitude of reasons. If you’re on the fence I promise you won’t be disappointed.
I'm having a blast playing this game. I do agree with the AI aspect of the enemies, but I personally don't care. I just enjoy beating them unconscious 🤣. If they roll out an update to fix that, it will be welcome, but I don't think it would change my opinion of the game.

I already spent 3 hours in this game and I love it. It is exactly what I was expecting. A little disappointed with some jittering in some cutscenes but except that I can play the game with 60 FPS locked.
I think it was interesting that the day one patch was not available until the 8th even if you had the game earlier really glad that did not mess up the reviews for this game but it was supposed to fix some of the npc reaction to you glad it wasn't bad enough that people would take points off because they had a patch ready and it didn't go live until the full release they had a lot in the patch too so happy for Machine Games and happy that Bethesada rewarded you for your hard work Jay you deserve to get codes you always give a good fair shake at topics and look at them from all angles!!
The game is great but I ran into a progress blocking bug that had me restart 4 hours of gameplay. That really stunk but thankfully I was able to get exactly to the same point I was in under 2 hours. It is a great game but be warned with the bug. When Antonio wants you to take pictures of 4 inscription and talk to him, do that AND THAT ALONE! Then you won’t find the bug.
Man, I'm having the opposite effect with the enemies. I blink and the enemy AI spot me. Game is still fun as hell. So damn addicting. The Himalaya level is one of the most impressive-looking levels of this generation.

I started smiling from ear to ear seeing how they Machine games created the same opening sequence of the movie in the game. From that point on I was hooked. I played it from 12 midnight until 2pm and I couldn't find all of the artifacts at the Vatican. I finally made it to Egypt but I'm having a hard time trying to get into the spinx. Nazi 's are everywhere and I got jumped by at least a dozen Nazis. This game is so good, the best Indiana Jones game I played since Indiana Jones & The Emperor's Tomb.
once you learn how to fight and you buff up indy, you can steamroll your way through pretty much everyone on the map... its a lot of fun to do when you learn how to fight.
I think Xbox will start making more cinematic games, and while I got tired of them on Playstation, sometimes it's just a good vibe to get into a great story at a slower pace. PS fanboys say that Indiana Jones is a ripoff of Uncharted is the most ironic thing.
I really loved Indy. It can't quite pass Metephor for me but Space Marine 2 got pushed to number three in my personal GOTY. Despite some flaws(I thought both characters were dumbbed down at times) I am in love with Indy again. Shout out to ID Tech. Why don't we use this engine more? P.s. why don't games have a hint button anymore? you used to just press a button if you needed a hint instead of toggling hints on and off. I like to figure out stuff myself but I tend to get stuck on things that I didn't know you could do in the game. one game I found a certain object(s) was also breakable and contained loot an hour into the game. it just didn't look breakable part of the background.
Retro games didn’t have hints, they used magazines and call lines for assistance. The issue is where games go to far into giving the answer that it becomes a slog without allowing for player exploration and finding things out for themselves. It’s really two ends of a stick with hints, you have games like Stardew Valley and Terraria whet its figure it out yourself play-style, and then modern God of War where they hand the answer on a golden platter if you get stuck for a minute.
Is there enough "gameplay" in this movie/game? This looks like MG wanted to make an Indy movie and this is the closest they got to making it. Basic puzzles, long stretches of walking.....aka a walking simulator, janky stealth and shooting. I think other than anything else, it's the story that has got people hooked.
No, it’s boring for anyone who actually likes to “play” video games. I find myself chugging along waiting for something cool to happen and it’s just more of the same. I’m a couple hours in and ready to uninstall.
This is the first time since Rise of the Tombraider that I have felt so excited playing an adventure game. I am just taking my time and finding every secret and Easter egg that I can. Near the beginning swim under the waterfall for a funny Easter egg I won’t spoil. Oddly at times generally when he is complaining Troy Baker sounds quite like Keifer Sutherland rather than Indy lol. I think it is just that I have watched those movies so many times over the years that I can just tell it’s not Harrison Ford. I still think it’s a good enough job he has done inflection wise though and it would trick people who didn’t grow up with watching these movies and others he did in the 80’and 90’s. As for the game though, even on Series X this is one of the times where you don’t really feel like you are being cheated not having a massive gaming PC as it is still great looking and running on the console. Only that I get free Gamepass Ultimate this is probably one I would still buy someday in a sale just to keep it. I don’t think it is worth the extra for the premium edition though.
I’m ADHD and stealth is just not my thing. I usually happy when ai has a bit of a studder. I think that should be more of an option personally in games but I understand why it’s not
Indy virtually never uses Guns in the Films, the most times he ever uses a Gun in the Films is in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and I think even then he only uses one about 5 Times.

@Michel-r6m man, I have both, and Xbox is cheaper in the long run with gamepass...they always have something to play, and you can still collect original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox one games to play with disc if you get the series x...PS5 has some good games too...either way is gonna be a good time bro, I still play my PS4 sometimes and it's still a great console

Hey, please don't go far with puzzles, our jobs aren't playing video games all day, when we get home tired from work many of my friends say if we can't solve some puzzles for more than 3-4 minutes we are choosing another game which is more rewarding. No time for long thinking about video games is the same about long unrewarded exploration, I always want to know where I'm going, life is too short for wasting it on unrewarding stuff, excellent when we can choose difficulty

The game definitely stays very true to who indiana jones was as a character, and the movies. Any long time fan can clearly see that.

Make sure you're changing your costume! I've had that issue a few times where I had on my regular Indy outfit as opposed to his disguise

I think other than anything else, it's the story that has got people hooked.
No, it’s boring for anyone who actually likes to “play” video games. I find myself chugging along waiting for something cool to happen and it’s just more of the same. I’m a couple hours in and ready to uninstall.
This is the first time since Rise of the Tombraider that I have felt so excited playing an adventure game. I am just taking my time and finding every secret and Easter egg that I can. Near the beginning swim under the waterfall for a funny Easter egg I won’t spoil.
Oddly at times generally when he is complaining Troy Baker sounds quite like Keifer Sutherland rather than Indy lol.
I think it is just that I have watched those movies so many times over the years that I can just tell it’s not Harrison Ford.
I still think it’s a good enough job he has done inflection wise though and it would trick people who didn’t grow up with watching these movies and others he did in the 80’and 90’s.
As for the game though, even on Series X this is one of the times where you don’t really feel like you are being cheated not having a massive gaming PC as it is still great looking and running on the console.
Only that I get free Gamepass Ultimate this is probably one I would still buy someday in a sale just to keep it.
I don’t think it is worth the extra for the premium edition though.

I’m ADHD and stealth is just not my thing. I usually happy when ai has a bit of a studder. I think that should be more of an option personally in games but I understand why it’s not

Indy virtually never uses Guns in the Films, the most times he ever uses a Gun in the Films is in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and I think even then he only uses one about 5 Times.
Dude i was skeptical as hell when i found out about this game, especially after kingdom of crystal dull and dial of dysentery, but no so far i have been loving it so far. And honestly i feel that this riddick game tie in approach might be the way to go for now with indy
Enjoying the story, atmosphere and environments but the gameplay lacks variety and is becoming a chore after 4 hrs in.

No doubting the graphics, story line and puzzles. The big issue is with the AI.

@Michel-r6m man, I have both, and Xbox is cheaper in the long run with gamepass...they always have something to play, and you can still collect original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox one games to play with disc if you get the series x...PS5 has some good games too...either way is gonna be a good time bro, I still play my PS4 sometimes and it's still a great console
You could get game pass ultimate and play it in the cloud.

I’m 56 so I grew up a HUGE Indy fan, crystal skull and especially dial of destiny were such let downs, I’ve been playing this for the last 3 hours and it’s awesome 🙏, I was getting worried after all the woke avowed drama , and I’m glad to say that this wasn’t the case with Indy , ty Xbox , now just get rid of the crazy people who are working on avowed 😂

Hey, please don't go far with puzzles, our jobs aren't playing video games all day, when we get home tired from work many of my friends say if we can't solve some puzzles for more than 3-4 minutes we are choosing another game which is more rewarding. No time for long thinking about video games is the same about long unrewarded exploration, I always want to know where I'm going, life is too short for wasting it on unrewarding stuff, excellent when we can choose difficulty

@@alpha-boss - Well given that console generations lasts about 7 years now, and MS have confirmed they're working on the next generation of consoles, then at minimum you would be talking about 9-10 years from now.

@@alpha-boss - The XBox is not becoming unpopular this gen, it's doing significantly better as a brand than it did last gen with the XBox One, with a great number of games being released and in development.
The idea that console sales alone determines the success of a console brand is a thing of the past my friend, but it's going to take time before certain gamers realize that :-)
