I will tell you the solution. Activate power saving mode for a few days and then deactivate it again. Or you can also let the S22 Ultra sit for 2 hours or more, don't turn it on. It definitely works because I've experienced this twice. First, replace the LCD on the SSC because it was still under warranty, then after 1 year it got hit again, finally I used this method and it worked until now my S22 Ultra is safe. This disease is caused by using the cellphone too hot so that the screen doesn't last like this.( Solution posted by one of the viewer )

    • @Lionspel
      @Lionspel Год назад +7

But will it come back to its original state if already had this uneven color on the left and right even though power saving is on? The notification bar, when in white, the left looks ok but the right side where the 'burn' led looks slightly beige. Like it's super noticeable if you choose a yellow background, it'll look like a yellow on the left and will have a gradient of green on the right side.

This solution is worked for me. But iam still afraid that same issue will be repeat with out power save on...and i my warrenty also completed.

My S22 Ultra has a different issue. The screen will either massively red shift, get ridiculously dim (can barely make out text in a pitch black room), and/or drop frames. I think it's caused by a loose screen connection internally, as if I lay it flat on a table and press on the screen or tap it on a table, it will usually temporarily fix it. Super frustrating because, like you, it wasnt dropped or damaged. It just started happening randomly while I was scrolling on Instagram

Samsung recently offered a program in India to provide free screen replacements for select Galaxy smartphone users experiencing a "green line" issue on their displays, which was primarily caused by certain software updates; this program allowed eligible customers to get their screens replaced at no cost, provided their phone was within the specified age range and had no physical damage.
Key points about the "green line" free screen replacement program:
    Affected devices:
The program primarily targeted specific Galaxy S series and Note series phones, including the S20, Note 20, S21, and S22 models.
    Reason for the issue:
The green line problem was reportedly linked to a software update, particularly the April 2024 security patch, affecting certain older Galaxy phones with Super AMOLED displays.
    Eligibility criteria:
To qualify for the free replacement, the phone needed to be within three years of purchase and should not have any physical damage or water damage.
    How to claim:
Users were required to visit a Samsung service center to get their screens replaced under this program.

I've been suffering from the same problem for months. Now that the problem has been solved and 120Hz is used normally, hopefully not again. This is exactly what I do: Switch to 60Hz (I use this mode for about 3 months), update new patch early November of Samsung, use good guardian limit minimum heat threshold (Thermal Guardian). After updating the November update, the 120Hz error phenomenon has disappeared, and I'll keep an eye on whether Samsung has dealt with this software error through this update.

This is the current issue in only samsung s22 ultra phone and has same display error in many phones around the world and it's a screen replacement only solution for it.
By reducing display to standard 60hz is a temporary solution because no one wants to use this premium phone with slow display.
As this is global issue hence samsung has started free display replacement irrespective of out of warranty phones as well so step to samsung service center and where they will take 2 days time to replace new screen and will charge 501 rupees as labour charges.
In starting many people paid around 18 thousand to 22 thousand rupees as it was unknown issue that time but now number of affected people growing hence they are replacing at free of cost.
