manos zervas I was hoping they would hybridise their supercharged V8 instead, but this is a great engine nonetheless. Perhaps they should have gone with AMGs V8, as that the best sounding of the turbo charged rivals.

I don't like this sound. 15 years ago my father had Opel and when exhaust pipe burned out/brake it sounded like this. It was loudest car in neighbourhood for few days until repaired. I was feeling shame.
15 years latter and this sound is awesome!

It sounds different because of the cross-bank exhaust manifold. This particular M8 sounds miles better than any V8 BMW today. Stock M8 definetly won't sound this good.
