Good tutorial Pj .one question I saw you pipe the design at .35 radius but what is the smallest radius u can make it at if you wanna 3d print it ? .and same thing for milgrain and prongs for stones ,what is the smallest it can can be made in order to 3d print ? .thank you
Hi John, great question for a stand along wall thickness, I suggest the smallest set up to be 0.4mm. However it is also depends on how tall the wall is. This tutorial is intended for discussing the modeling. I didn't plan to print it. 0.35 radius make it a 0.7mm round wire. If it is small enough, it should get printed. If it is large like 30mm tall, it will get print, but I may rework some design to have more support somewhere in the middle to ensure casting result.

HI Zia, what unit grid do you have when you start Rhino. I usually use small mm for jewelry design. Sometimes, Rhino can start in "inch" on preset.
@@PJChenJewelryDesign yes I'm select small object when I start it.
But it can't give the actual size print
