When i listen this music i feel like a gladiator in the sand, like the last of the samurais, like a caribbean pirate, like the king of the jungle, like a roman general...
I hear a lot of house, trance, hard style, and dubstep. But I will never stop hearing great music like Hans Zimmer, Gustavo Dudamel, and Yoko Shimomura.
more than just music...its a way of life...i mean..i am close...really close but to achieve such majesty is beeing on a whole different level...this guy...be it at his youth or be it at his current state ...he has reached levels that we arent even able to comprehend thats how good this guy is....beyond comprehension.....saw him live...just carries a whole orchestra on his back like its nothing....fucking amazing guy just because i in my prime giving it all ive got trying my best and i still dont get to that level and im trying my best....how good must you be to reach something like that...i swear....he is really good ....
and he wrote it all in d....dminor actually....wich is his main chord....but anyway hans just slays as if he is 35 years old and can do it all regardless of his age this guy is better for me is better than john williams....
Woad to Ruin. I think it is a play on the name of the adversaries, Merlin and his people, who were called Woad's and this song was played in the movie when the Woads attacked the caravan on the road.
its the best what i heard for ages!! hans zimmer is really the master of music.. omfg next time whem im going to medieval-battle imma listnin to it. :)
John Williams composes great music a lot of it is catchy and entertaining, Hans Zimmer is different his music is more like epic music. The kind that you can put to anything your doing to make it more interesting.
@@how2drawdinosaurs715 wow, that was long time ago, cant even rember writing this, I feel like I am completely different person now. Thanks for reminding 😃
Anyone else hear similarities with Transformers music? I know Steve Jablonsky was an apprentice of Zimmer's... On a thematic note, we might say the Transformers are like modern day knights in armour (this is taken literally in Transformers 5)
Every fan of this should read The Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. In my opinion the best take on the Arthurian saga. No fantasy, pure historical interpretation.
Actually it's not. It re emerged in WWii. The French, then the British, then the Americans remembered their heritage. Rather on purpose or not, they figured it out. Ironically, church hill remembered it as the inverse of v, which is why it was perceived as telling the Nazis up yours. Remember how, Germans aren't of Roman descent, or Celtics, or any noble people's. Don't get mad about that. I'm 50/50 British on my mom's side, German on my dad's. There is a freaking difference. This symbol probably dates way back into Roman heritage. And the author was probably correct to include it. I mean, a trend that big doesn't happen over night by accident .
@Tom Reid Key word, a TON but not entirely. So interpretation is perfectly fine. Mr Cornwell used many places and if I'm not mistaken, a few characters who actually existed. I used the word interpretation because 5th century Britain is a mysterious time due to the collapse of literacy once Rome left but there is still some bit of recorded history. It is the Arthurian saga interpreted historically, set apart from the more widely known fantasy. The author makes it clear none of it should be taken as fact.
at 3:30 to 3:55 it has some of the sound track from the last samurai. i find it rahter funny that every time i listen to a piece done by Zimmer that i always hear parts of other musical scores by Zimmer.
step one: download FLAC format of this song step two: plug laptop into reference line speakers step three: blast that shit, and experience full epic glory.
Listening to this, does anything think Batman? Just listen to it... can you see the caped crusader walking out of the smoke, bold and strong? I swear I see it every time.
