  • Wall position is the key to drawing accurately with PlusSpec, PlusArchitect, or PlusDesignBuild.
This tutorial shows how to place a wall from the internal, external cavity, or batten position on a plan. It talks about the load-bearing point of a wall and the XY axis of a wall.
Ensure your wall position and cladding directions are correct as per the plan.

This tutorial will definitely help people to understand that 90mm wall on the plan is thickness of the structural frames on the plan and external/internal skin will added extra thickness. Therefore the actual dimensions and dimension in plan will differ by thickness of materials that been used for the walls construction.
    Thanks!

✨Yes, 100% Alex PlusSpec solves these issues.
Dimensioning from finishes creates confusion for suppliers and subcontractors.
All of our Plugins draw the way we build PlusArechictec and PlusDesignBuild has an auto dimension feature that sends dimensions and high-resolution textures to Layout to further solve the problem. Thanks for commenting. 😊

Right arrow button justifies the draw wall direction and Insert in Windows machines sets the wall draw dirrection.

Hi Andrew - Thanks for sharing. Do you have any quick tip suggestion for dealing with end of wall termination where the plasterboard is not covering the exposed end stud?

The functionality is thereFrom memory its in the right click menu. "End of wall" or start of wall. It'll also extend the cornice and skirting around the end or start or a wall.
