I love how old movies had little to no realism to how/ when cars blow up. The second they go off the road they just detonate without hitting anything. It gets me every time.
The "Never Say Never Again" stunt, the bike over the ramp that the Camaro was hauling, is one of my favorites. When you hit the ramp, you get a boost relative to the road so landing is difficult; of course the Bond franchise has no problem hiring the best stunt people. Then the hidden ramp on the parked car routine tops it off.
I'm sorry that I didn't have that movie to add. I thought I had all of the movies in my collection but didn't realize "Tomorrow Never Dies" was missing.
That's what we all love about James Bond. Current Bond movies are not much different from any action movies like Jason Bourne, Jack Reacher or John Wick. Bond then was a different class.
I guess the model didn´t have the Submarine-function in the plans, as for example the car in For your eyes only didn´t seem to have this function.Maybe it way specifically added as Bond had to go undersea.
I would have appreciated a clip from Skyfall when Bond reaches for the eject button and asks M, "Are you going to complain all the way?" M responds, "Oh go ahead, eject me. See if I care."
Liked all of the different things that looked like James Bond was capable of doing but knew that it was very talented Stunt people that did all of the hard stunts!
Whenever the windshield becomes covered in a substance which reduces visibility to zero; increasing speed and veering wildly from left to right is always the smartest thing to do.
Lol was thinking the same thing. Would've made more sense to make him brake hard, lock the wheels and drift of the cliff. But oh well, can't say I care really. Gotta love the old Bond vibe.
Started to get ridiculous from the nuclear powered submarine shit, but Brosnan surfing the tsunami is cinema history. Unreachable! At least it gained some credibility from Casino Royale. ⚡
A detailed history is an important 듀rst step; here, this reveals the classic symptoms of anemia and shows him to have been symptomatic for several months now.
03:09 The amazing part is I just realized and the way I see it that Lotus Esprit actually looks like a flying car with the fans on the back. I want that model.
"1970: we'll have underwater car in the future" Lotus: "Excellent. There aren't any rules against underwater race cars." Formula 1 rule-makers: "I guess we'll have to ban those, too. First, it's the ground-effects race car. Now, it's the underwater race car. What will Chapman think of next?" Chapman: "Stealth race car. You can't ban what you can't see."
1:25 they called that gadget the concrete ejector. It's a fast-setting hydraulic cement, guaranteed to discourage pursuit, or your money back. ( I don't think oxy-clean will get that stuff out of your clothing either.)
0:42 One of the biggest "what the hell was that shit" moments in Bond movie history. Oil slick on a dirt road, car purposefully driving off the road and then exploding for no reason.
Why didn't you include the car chase in Tomorrow Never Dies. He used a cell phone to drive his car, tire puncture devices, reinflating tires, top mounted missiles, and the hood ornament popped up to reveal a wire cutter.
I'm sorry that I didn't have that movie to add. I thought I had all of the movies in my collection but didn't realize "Tomorrow Never Dies" was missing.
I wouldn't mind a car that's a combination of all the gadgets, and so on, of all the James Bond cars that had those. That is unless one gadget makes another redundant. They can be backups. The car though would probably be too heavy and cramped.
Another example that shows that the Bond series actually ended with Dalton. After he was replaced ..... just tragic. No magic any more. No Bond - just brawl.
I want to see Brosman on the final movie of Daniel Craig's James Bond series, maybe as a partner, and with different codename, maybe 001 because he's a legend.
James Bond has used many non spy vehicles such as foreign cars, various aircraft, and even a Russian T-55 Main Battle Tank [he used that military vehicle to stop a enemy armoured train].
The curious thing is that Bond, despite driving Aston Martins or other ultra-fast cars, usually needs all those gadgets to get rid of his pursuers in Peugeots, Ford Cortinas, Mercedes sedans, Ladas or Chevrolets. Why the hell he doesn't simply push the accelerator and escapes away? The only answer is that he must be an awful driver.

I find it entertaining to watch sequence on ground to underwater & back aware it took 4 plus vehicles to happen. While editing made look seamless

'Explosive oil slick' apparently in Goldfinger or one of his Japanese henchman misread the antifreeze for nitroglycerin.
