In this song, LP and her awesome band has given a worthy voice to ironically-remembered grief, as individual as it is universal.

ok a bit off topic but why does LP give me Shane McCutcheon vibes ... LOVE IT lol also her voice is so unique me and my mum love her so much.
LP sounds much better when she's live in small intimate setting than in her studio performances or live performances in large venues. In studio versions the obsession that producers have with perfections ruins the songs by erasing the little quirks in her voice that creates goosebumps on your arms. In large venues the sound equipment usually sucks and a voice gets almost obliterated because it sounds like it's coming from a busy subway platform.
