It’s not an easy decision to make. I appreciate the entire collection that I started purchasing in 2003. If I had to chose one, it would be my Medium/Large Classic Single Flap from 2008. I still have the price tag, the box, and the gigantic Black shopping bag that it came in. 😏
Mine would be my reissue 226, aged black calfskin, RHW. So carefree and beautiful perfect size as it fits so much if needed, it’s that perfect middle size, can crossbody or shoulder, gorgeous chain, and it’s understated luxury. That being said I love all my Chanel with CC clasps also. black mini would be next and after that a medium grey 19. Love my wocs but I’d like a bit more room if I only keep one bag. Not getting rid of any tho but love the reissue the most.

The 2.55 reissue is such a favorite among many! I hear great things about it’s wearability and ease. I wish it looked better on me. I’ve tried a few times and for some reason I can’t seem to rock the look. 😅 But it’s such a classic!!

Good to know how you store your CF’s, particularly not pulling the chain to one side and tucking it in. That’s how I was taught to store my CF from the boutique, but you’re right, I can certainly cause symmetry issues. Thanks for the tip! Happy women’s day ❤

My WOC was my first Chanel piece and it would also be my one repurchase at the current price. I use it so often in a variety of ways like you had in the video. Actually, I’m looking for a neutral color now, as I have the black caviar with GHW 😊
I am on the same page with you. If the WOC is almost the price of a mini flap from 23S price increase and fits the essentials, it serves the purpose well. I’ll do one more before the price jumps over 5000 😂

Agreed. This is the only Chanel bag I own and will probably ever own. It’s so versatile and classic.
i have a small black and gold vintage chanel that i use for special occasions and i love it! got it 3 yrs ago for a "steal." However, I'd love to add a woc since I think the silver hardware makes it easier to dress down. I used to always want a medium flap, but I just don't dress up that much anymore to warrant the price now imo. Thank you for sharing!!
Mini rectangular in black lambskin and gold hardware would be my only Chanel bag which I currently have only 1 anyways atm. I don't like the woc. I had it for 3 years and never used it so I sold it. Can't fit a lot in it and the original is too long for me. I'm only 5'2". I use my mini rectangular a lot for date nights, special occasions, birthdays, dinners, anniversary, etc. I love how it can hold a lot for a tiny bag. ❤️

Great content! Thank you for the promo codes. I just purchased a base shaper for my WOC. With the recent prices increases, I don’t anticipate purchasing a larger handbag. The base shaper should allow me to get more use out of the WOC 🤗❤️

The Woc or mini rectangular. My 2 favs
The one Chanel Bag for me is my mini rectangular in Caviar Leather. I love the long strap, its spacy, has a durable leather and can be worn like the woc in different ways. And it has/had a great price.
I thought you’d pick the beige mini rectangle. That’d definitely be my choice. That colour is so hard to find and it looks so good on the mini rectangle (and not all Chanel beige looks good but yours is the one I like). It doesn’t even look as good on the bigger classics. Couple of years ago I was looking for a mini rectangle in either black or beige but no luck (a year later ended up getting a black mini with charms). Maybe one day I’ll try getting the beige mini from the pre-loved market.

I can only agree with you. It’s my most used Chanel handbag. I don’t touch the Chanel flaps. I love the ease of the woc and it’s super versatile and light. It suits my lifestyle perfectly. Great vid 🫶
I just bought a fuscia woc. I hardly use my classics including the mini. The woc is great to put inside a larger bag and to grab to go grocery shopping 🛍️
I always glean something from your videos - thank you! I love the woc, but I have different glasses - prescription sun, distance, reading - and that in itself makes it not work for me (although I tried many times). My alternative is the Ferragamo mini pouch bag on chain with the signature embellishment. It also can be dressed up or down, shoulder, crossbody or clutch, understated but elegant. It's also a fraction of Chanel's price. Love it so much that I just got another color.
I have glasses as well and can't go for the WOC for the same reason - definitely need to check out the Ferragamo

I was able to find a Chanel WOC black caviar with gold hardware on Poshmark 😊 I got a great deal and it’s in pristine condition. I just know I’m going to love this bag!!
it blows my mind that fancy brands like this still require add-on's like liners and bases. I feel like if I pay that much for something, it should come with everything.

I agree. woc was my first ever chanel bag and i've used it well over what i paid for imo. i've had a classic medium, round clutch, jumbo, a few seasonal ones but the only other one i'd pick would be my classic business tote!

I took a deep dive into your videos trying to find one that shows what all you can fir into your Chanel wallet on chain, I bought one several months ago and have only used it twice for a special occasion. I want to use it more.... because why not haha! but I'm struggling with how to fill it, and how to properly adjust the chain to fir me better. do you have a video like this. and if not could you please do one?
Aw I know I did an in depth review of the Chanel WOC a while back and definitely showed what fits. It should be in my Chanel playlist! But also, do you follow me on IG? Because I shared a reel showing what fits recently - just a few days ago. It should be helpful!
I don’t have a Chanel yet but it’s either a WOC or mini rec for me. I haven’t considered/lusted over any other style. If I do get a WOC I definitely need a seasonal with turnlock closure and adjustable pearl crush strap because I’m not even 5ft 🤣
I would keep the mini flap in caramel because I don't wear black clothes... It's definitely my colour for spring/summer/fall/winter.

Very interesting decision!😍👌 if I need to decide I prefer a bag with “classic signs” of Chanel House as are turnlock, big CC, Mona Lisa pocket etc. I use a lot classic small double flap, so thats my choice😅 even not Chanel 19, but it is so soft… but no😂
Fot the current prices I would go for my woc or 2.55 mini. I like to carry my LV mini pochette with me daytime so that makes me prefer 2.55

This is a tough one. I think it would be my mini flap in dark brown with SHW. It holds the right amount and is the perfect size for me since I am 5’1”. In January of this year ‘23 I finally got my dream bag, a medium classic flap in beige claire, because to me, it is the icon. I bought in new in store at the silly price of $8800, then a month later they raised the price to what it is now, $10,200. Would I buy it at that price? I think I might, but I might get it pre-loved instead. I have the black WOC with GHW, and it is funny, I was thinking I might sell it, but only because my lifestyle has changed. I moved from the mainland, back to Hawaii, and I never reach for black bags anymore. I would get a pastel mini instead.

Aw the filigree is fun! But if I could only pick one, I’d definitely want black… and something a bit more understated. The large CC on the filigree sometimes makes me hesitate. 😂
I love my WOCs. I have 2, black caviar with ghw and a red patent camellia and I use them a lot. But I have to say that if I could only keep one out of my collection of 25, it would have to be my black mini rectangular with top handle. The top handle does it for me.

For me it would be a debate between my black caviar cf or my top handle mini rectangular in black also. The WOC never worked for me since the chain is way too long for me. I’m small and I can manage to crossbody my small cf and the mini top handle rectangular has the perfect chain length for me. After that, it would definitely be my Chanel 19 ! I think I would be able to let go my mini square, it’s my less used bag and I wouldn’t add an other one that’s for sure. But it’s all talk, I’m not letting any of them go! 😂
Same…Chanel WOC chains are way too long for me, hence don’t own one…
Coco top handle (size small), rectangular & square minis are my favourites. The Coco has a huge price increase. Purchased mine in 2021 for just over $6K (Australian dollars), currently $9130 😱

The jumbo for 11,000 in today’s pricing is for the double flap not for the single because obviously they don’t make the single anymore

Though in another YT video mentioning that cards would be obsolete soon, the woc can be used as a mini bag instead of focusing on its woc (card slots) feature.
Its such a versatile piece, and the cost per wear will make the re-purchase worth every penny! 😁
I almost never use the card slots so even without them, I’d still choose the WOC! 😉

Question, and I am not sure how to phase it, I ask sincerely not snarky. The written word lacks so much, anyway you talked about your jumbo single flap going now for $11,000. Would that be the price on the preloved market, since they only make double flaps now? Were single flaps and double flaps the same price when they made single flaps?? I am trying to educate myself to make a good purchase, and the retail vs. preloved chanel bag pricing is confusing to me. Thanks! 😁
It’s a smart question! Yes they’re technically the same price but you’ll find less of the single flaps on the preloved market because they only made them for a short couple of years. I think only 2 years perhaps. I think the preloved price will simply depend on the condition and frankly, a lot of the single flap Jumbos on the preloved market are in terrible condition because of what I mentioned. Hope this helps!

Can you put things behind the flap in the double flap.
Some people do slip items in between the flaps but it’s not really intended to be a compartment. This can loosen or tear the stitching so I wouldn’t recommend it.
Why not get plain white dustbags to protect your light Chanel bags?

You are prob taller so it looks good on u but for someone who’s shorter the mini rec works/looks way better - I sold my WOC and I have no regrets holy shit I bought it when it was $2500 LOl
I’m 5’6” and the chain is quite long on me so I like to wrap it around once even when I wear it crossbody.
