With the current pricing I think people should only buy what they love and see themselves using all the time to make the purchase worth while. Otherwise, a classic flap is just a classic flap if it'll just end up sitting in the closet, despite it being the most iconic bag by Chanel. Btw, I picked up the mini 22 with the pearl chain yesterday, sad to say I love it. My wallet isn't happy but my heart says yes 😅
@@SasaZoe Thank you, Sasa! Yeah the straps would be the only con imo because they're not very adjustable. When you cinch the bag it'll only adjust the top handle chains that drape in the front, the long ones (chain + thin leather) are pretty much at a fixed length but fortunately they sit perfectly on me when worn as crossbody. I can use a metal clip, the ones that people use to shorten their jumbo to shorten the strap so it's not a deal breaker😊

Those will be my forever classic pieces. Ohh....I never thought if adding a chain to my long flap wallet works. It's just like yours except a bigger size. Last item I bought was the mini square. I think some small classic pieces are still worth it, but the big classic flaps....yeah for $10k, probably will spend the $ on something else. Plus I heard about quality issues. Luckily I never encounter quality issues with my Chanel items before. I would buy the mini rectangle if only the strap is a bit shorter since I'm petite, but I think that one is still worth it if planning to keep long term. Not a fan of the 22 bags....most seasonal stuff don't really catch my eye as it's too funky lol, but everyone has different styles.

I always want to add a burgundy bag to my collection, but it doesn’t have to be a small or medium classic flap as I find it hard to justify spending $10k on one with risks of quality issues. Even if it’s a mini or seasonal bag that is burgundy color would do. But overall, I don’t feel like I need to rush out to buy a Chanel bag now. Thanks for the tip! It’s interesting to hear your opinion, great video. As I say all the time, any bag is worth buying if it’s worth for the person who owns it. If the bag is something you will wear, sparks joy and is worth adding to your wardrobe, to me that’s worth it. Perfect example of this, your boy bag, that has died in popularity many years ago, but you still love, wear and have it in your collection. As per square minis, imho they are not as popular as the rectangular ones, unless you find a rare beauty like your vintage. Also, yes mini rectangulars might be somewhat financially worth it in the long run, but imho, they can never be a replacement for a classic flap. Last but not least, the C19 was last creation for KL and just for that, I think it will remain popular and more valuable than other seasonal or newer designs. Btw, the C19 was not my cup of tea at first, but now, I can tell you it’s a great handbag, it is a very very comfortable and easy to carry design. I am still thinking to add a few more classics hopefully in the near future 😊

I love my flap card holder in lambskin. Got it from London last year. Using it everyday, still looks like new. Still worth it with the new price. I do love the caramel mini you have. But I gave up on looking for it. Too expensive from resell market and too hard to find in the boutique.

Brought a mini rectangular from my Paris trip a couple years ago and it’s still new in the box. 😂 I most likely won’t buy anything Chanel again because their quality is definitely not matching up with the prices!

I know the price is crazy for CF. But I will still purchase it from the boutique when I find the colors I love. I just need to be selective now due to the price. I am just a classic girl, not into “it” bags. CF always makes me feel excited when ever I wear mine. 😊

love the snap card holder, had to buy resell bec it was hard to get in the boutique but it’s def worth it. Not buying anymore Chanel bags esp with the price and quality. I only have a square mini in my collection and a few cardholders now . love your Chanel collection ❤

It’s interesting to hear your opinion, great video. As I say all the time, any bag is worth buying if it’s worth for the person who owns it. If the bag is something you will wear, sparks joy and is worth adding to your wardrobe, to me that’s worth it. Perfect example of this, your boy bag, that has died in popularity many years ago, but you still love, wear and have it in your collection.
As per square minis, imho they are not as popular as the rectangular ones, unless you find a rare beauty like your vintage. Also, yes mini rectangulars might be somewhat financially worth it in the long run, but imho, they can never be a replacement for a classic flap. Last but not least, the C19 was last creation for KL and just for that, I think it will remain popular and more valuable than other seasonal or newer designs. Btw, the C19 was not my cup of tea at first, but now, I can tell you it’s a great handbag, it is a very very comfortable and easy to carry design. I am still thinking to add a few more classics hopefully in the near future 😊

I love my flap card holder in lambskin. Got it from London last year. Using it everyday, still looks like new. Still worth it with the new price.
I do love the caramel mini you have. But I gave up on looking for it. Too expensive from resell market and too hard to find in the boutique.

Brought a mini rectangular from my Paris trip a couple years ago and it’s still new in the box. 😂 I most likely won’t buy anything Chanel again because their quality is definitely not matching up with the prices!

However when I saw it in person I was actually disappointed because it lacked of the buttery shiny feel I was expecting as saw on the older bags online…I bought it anyway in the end because of FOMO.
