Trying to play local 2 players but both controllers control the player 1 when trying to assign controller to Player 1 vs Player 2. Looks like a lot of you have had the same issue but have not seen a solution.
I found a solution u need to have 3 gamepads or ps4 controllers connect the first 2 then press begin battle then connect the third and u can move the second to the other side
it is fucking ridicoulous that on fighting game we need tutorials on how to play with your friend on local multiplayer , it should be easy just from the menu of the game. that is the reason i dont buy this game , they focus too much on online multiplayer and cant even give us an easy option to play with your friends at home I miss the old dbz budokai tenkaichi 3 , lots of charecters and no extra payment.

im talking about normal/traditional two players, its not working on my xbox series s why? i thought when you on both controllers they have to appear for two players game, why only one controller that is appearing?
@@sosoosapaos7160 im not sure what that means? ...if you're talking about switch, I believe you can play share as long as you both have removable controls

If it doesn't let you play with 3 controllers then why does it let you pick controllers on the battle thing where it gets harder and harder in a middle of local battles and the capsule thing where u can play events

First make sure your controllers are both on, then go to the pvp area and it should allow you to press x on your second controller. If not it might be because you need to sign in as guest for 2nd controller

Found solution. On Xbox you have to sign in the second controller to a “guest” or different profile. Then the other controller will show up.
ThaMadRabbit then I get sent to the tile saying that the sign in profile has changed

You would probably need to buy another controller because you will need all buttons to play and having half will not help

Most games are only allow two controllers to play at the same time so I'd say no it won't let you play with 3 controllers

You probably know this by now but you can do 3v3s on the switch, and from what I’ve heard it doesn’t work anywhere else
