I loved this video and the future ones. I recommended my friend who's new to the game, i couched him the basics of what i knew, but im terrible at explaining things. Your videos from what ive seen, are very useful. I subbed, hope your channels takes off and congrats on the recent 400! ❤️
Thank you for the feedback! Appreciate it a lot bro ❤️ glad you’re enjoying the video and I’ll be sure to post more just like this too keep helping you guys out!
Yooo ive watched lotus for about 3 years now and he as well is the reason i went from watching him pull of trunks 1v3s to buying the game and pulling off the same. The flips is what got me man 💀 i love trunks combos
Yes super dashing tends to be a habit for many players across all ranks so being able to counter it can be super helpful! Good job on getting to android rank!
Thank you so much for the universal bnb combo, I was able to learn it either way I started yesterday, thank you so much and for the other tips, also how you so low on subs, you’re so good man
@@Toji-KO for sure man! Also just a little bit of a question, I was wondering if you had any tips on maybe things like movement and how you move during a match against someone, also sadly I can’t really wake up due to not really having PS Plus, but when I get my new PC, I’m probably gonna switch there so I can get cool skin mods and stuff. Anyways sorry for the late response and hope to see you upload more.
Thanks for the tips. I already know stuff like the universal combos and watching the RUclipsrs but it's still helpful for me. I'm stuck at Namekian rank because I am beginning to battle people who are more advanced like Android and Super Saiyan rank. I still beaten a couple of people with Super Saiyan rank. I could never get beat an android rank however. I've gotten a bit close. Yet still not able to win. I been playing this game a lot and I've gotten better when I first played. Also, this game is difficult to learn but it's still a really fun game in general.
@@Toji-KO I also can't concertate sometimes because of the pressure I feel and I drop a combo which is one of my biggest mistakes and getting opened up in a battle is definitely one of the worse things that could happen because they have the upper hand. My win streak isn't bad but I've been losing more matches ever since I reach Namekian rank.
@@Toji-KO I just did some matches today and I have been on a winning streak so far. I did rank up to Saiyan rank and my win ratio has went up to 70%. When I verse higher rank players, they are obviously better than me so I am still trying to improve more.
I'm trying to get good at FighterZ since 3 years ago, and I never seem to get any better at it for some reason. Sometimes I block high and my character jumps, sometimes my character doesn't block at all, blue combos land on my but I was mashing square so I should've teched, I can't seem to tech dragon rushes even though I mash really hard, my combos miss a lot, and I seem to be doing everything right, but it never works. Sometimes simply just staying at the corner and crouching can leave completely without any ideas of what to do. It's frustrating and I feel like I'm going in circles. What should I do at this point? Give up? I like FighterZ, but I never seem to understand how this game works...and how some people mash everytime and it works for them and how I mash and it never works. If anyone reads this...please help.
With the first set of issues like accidentally jumping or teaching not working your controller could be the problem if not it’s your thumb placement. Make sure you use the dpad if it’s comfortable as it’s more consistent and make sure your thumb is in the MIDDLE of your dpad not on the ends of the buttons. Hope this helps 😁
I’ve had this game since it came out got the day one addition played it a couple times I realized I’ve had 56 rank matches and 11 wins when I re downloaded and I only have 2 hrs into the game
So it seems like actually doing the combo isn’t the problem but instead you want to focus on getting close and then opening up your opponent. In that case you need to improve and practice on your ‘neutral’ to get close and practice character specific block strings to open up your opponent once you’re in. Remember though, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t land a 2M, a basic combo is much better than no combo at all! 👍🏽
Do you have advice for mastering the bnb. I know the combo but it's not consistent because normal I can't get down the double jump after modair 2h. Also normally as an alternative I use specials to make up for that if that's viable at all. Last thing my current team is point vegito, mid ui goku, and anchor frieza with all a assist if you have any advice for that
Using specials to make up for the bnb combo will usually not be more beneficial than using the bnb however it can be viable until you learn it, try to buffer your inputs if you’re missing the jump, for example while your 2H is landing already have your fingers pressing jump and then L instantly after each other. Your team is pretty good even tho frieza isn’t that strong, personally I would put frieza as point with vegito mid and ui goku anchor, learn the mix ups and block strings and you should be good!
@@IceAlias Zamasu isn't easy to learn but once you get used to him. He is really op. Frieza is also a weird character to use. I started using Vegito SSGSS and his combos were so strange at first but once you get used to using certain characters, you will improve.
J means jump and M means medium. If you’re already in the air though it can also mean a mid air medium unless a jump is actually required in that specific part of the combo
Not the biggest fan of you recommending some of the most obtuse and hard to learn characters for beginners at the start of the game, especially the ones with powerful and complex advantage states new players will have major trouble using.
I understand your point however learning no one character is going to give any player a huge boost long term. My main point was that by learning unique, lesser played characters you’re going to give yourself a huge advantage at beginner ranks against opponents who won’t have played against these characters often. Ofc some of these characters have difficult combos to learn however the combos aren’t always essential to their play style. Android 18 for example is extremely easy to learn however she has a more advanced loop combo but, at the same time she also offers a few gimmicks and crazy knockdown pressure that beginner opponents might not necessarily know how to deal with! Hope I’ve managed to get my point across a bit clearer haha!
@@Toji-KO It might help if people playing at lower levels is trying to be playing around the opponent and their unqiue tools as opposed to gogeta blue 2Ming their way to insane pressure. Kid Buu's crazy mix and Captain Ginyu's setplay doesnt really matter if you lose neutral and get slammed in the corner and mixed to death by fusions
You’ve just answered your own question there bro, if losing neutral is the problem then it’s not necessarily down to the characters you pick (sure some have better neutral than others) but the fundamentals of neutral apply to all the characters!
2M, 5M ok is this 2medium atk and 5medium atk ?, this combo gives me different animation like hes doing some special attack i cant do bread and butter combos >.< im on xbox btw
I play a team of Goku Black A assist, Adult Gohan C assist, and Blue Goku B assist. I know the game isn’t all about combos and can do quite a bit except rejump combos those are way too hard to do, but is frame data super important? Because I don’t know anything about frame data.
Sounds like a pretty good team! And yes frame data is super important! Like I mentioned in the video it dictates when you’re safely able to continue/start attacking your opponent or whether you need to block. An example for your team is goku blacks 2S ki blast. It’s +5 on block (I think) and this means if your enemy presses any button after blocking the 2S they’re going to get hit. At majin rank I wouldn’t expect many players to know about this so they’ll often fall for the trap. Android 18 also has a similar 2S and she carried me through the ranks lol. Bit of a ramble but yes, highly suggest learning frame data !
Did you find this video helpful? let me know if you want more tip videos like this one!
I love how characters not in base game are somehow more common a sight than super saiyan goku online. You’d really think it’d be different.
Yeahh ssj goku and vegeta are kinda of like the Ken and Ryu of the game I guess, they can be a bit plain and basic compare to the other characters
its tuff playin against 21 gogeta and broly while my team is base goku, base vegeta and krillin
It do be like that but your team is definitely equipped to take them down! Base vegeta can be really hard to deal with especially!
I used to play this on the reg I got to supreme Kai. I'm ashamed that I have to google these videos years after I stopped playing..
Lol don’t worry! That’s exactly how I got back into the game after I put it down for years!

Universal anti air my beloved
the only thing that stops me from getting better is that EVERYONE uses universal controls and i just don’t understand it at all
I can only use that bnb combo as the description says in the corner? Should i change the combo when im in the middle of the map?
As far as I’m aware you don’t need to change it, should work both in the corner and mid map

So when I start my bnb combos I usually do 2 lights before. I find it hard to start off with a 2m. Any tips?
Starting with two lights is fine however it just results in slightly less damage. What exactly is it that you find hard about starting with a 2M ?
