I felt like the role players were hitting there corner 3s most of the playoffs but elbow and top of the key 3s they struggled. Klay can do that.
Would it be unrealistic if you put Kyrie at the PG spot Luka at the 3 and go get a sg that can defend and spot up.
Luka is the size of a SF and if you want him to improve on def then maybe you need to take him off the ball more
And force him to make def more a priority.

Those big guys need to do damage in the post. They are bigger than everyone. Just handle the ball and Lively needs to learn to score in the paint to help the Mavs. He needs to average 18ppg easily with the lobs. The problem is the mavs role players are not fundamentally sound as players from the 80's. They are limited on their impact on the game. Guys from 3-4yrs in college knew how to play the game and the fundamentals if pure talent was not there.

In today’s modern NBA big men don’t have any post moves. They can only catch lobs or get wide-open layups. They can’t even catch a bounce pass in a pick and roll. What everybody should be doing is watching film of Hakeem Olajuwon and Kevin McHale and learn how to use their damn pivot foot and get some post moves. Modern players are a joke. They all dribble the same and they have zero post moves. This is why Jordan Bird and Kobe could play in any era because they could literally do every skill that you could name, including hook shots, even though they didn’t do those shots a lot.
