- Hello and welcome to the channel. In this video we will take a look at the career of the legendarily unheralded Reb Beach. Beach started as a studio guy before linking up with Kip Winger to form Winger. He has also had stints in Dokken and Nightranger. As well as currently being in Whitesnake and Black Swan as well as Winger.
Reb, one of the best musicians in the guitar world !! Thank you for sharing this !!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
One of the very best guitar players 🤘
Thanks for watching and the comment.
My absolute favorite guitarist.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
I've seen Reb play a few times. He is right up there with the greats of the 80s......Winger doesn't get the credit they all deserve, certainly not Kip. He is a prodigy too. Incredibly talented and diverse.
I agree they are all great musicians even if you don’t like their music. Thanks for watching.
One of the greatest guitar solos I've ever heard was Reb Beach's solo on Whitesnake The Sands of Time (Radio Edit). I swear that guitar solo is a living thing, the way it moves and breathes is unlike any other musical composition. It is absolutely sublime.
@SahiraSound thanks for the comment. I don’t know that one I’ll have to check it out.
Love his tapping style!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
So fluid and smooth . To this day NOBODY has been able to fully replicate or play the way Reb does. Extremely unique player especially his tapping
Amazing player and one of my favourite guitarrist ever.
Thanks for watching and the comment
Reb is a guitar genius .
He’s a great player. Thanks for watching and the comment.

Thanks for watching and the comment.
Reb Beach is a very good guitar player.
Yes he is. Thanks for watching.
He's brilliant.
YES!
(I haven't watched the video, but I just dropped by to answer the question in the title 😄)
Reb Beach is nothing short of legendary.
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching.
Genius and humble guy in one frame!
My full respect for his journey🫶👌
Great player. Thanks for watching.
Reb is just amazing.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
EVH came along and then everybody was knicking his ideas.... especially the tapping....reb beach taps as much as anyone post EVH...bt he DOESNT sound like eddie unlike everyone else....reb took the tapping to another level and ended up with one of the most distinctive sounds of all the 80's guys..... impressive ✌🏼
I agree. There were only a few that did something different with it.
100%
Agreed. And not just the tapping, which is so distinctive. He's right up there with the greats Steve Vai and Satriani, guys who took the time to master the craft.
I remember being a kid and seeing him with that natrual wood guitar cut away to the trem and thinking it was the coolest fiddle I had ever seen.... Obviously his ability to play with soooo many different bands shows how skilled he is.
Yeah it’s a pretty cool guitar. I think he still plays them, even though I don’t think they are still available new.
I've met him a few times here in Fort Wayne, IN at Sweetwater. He's a real neat guy. Someone you can easily have a conversation with just as if he were a friend. He signed my one of one Masterson quilt top guitar amp for me when he was doing a live session in the cafeteria area at Sweetwater with the band winger. Much respect. I have 67 signatures right now multiple musicians. I'm going to donate it to the Fort Wayne Historical Museum at some point. I'm also writing a book about the musicians who signed it, how I got the signatures, if it was at a concert what the show was like,, the weather, the crowd etc. when I think I have enough chapters or run out of room for signatures , I'll stop and sell the book on Amazon and donate the amp. After I record with it a few times that is. 👍💯😎 Reb is a class act for sure. Oh which brings me to Yngwie who wouldn't sign it. But I actually thank him for that because that made me realize I should include those who wouldn't sign it as well. I was about ten feet from him and only three people there and he refused to sign it and acted as if I didn't even exist. Yngwie Malmsteen that is. Not such a class act
But I'm not mad I'm not bitter he's a great player. But I can remember Reb's music much easier than Yngwie so there's that.
Cool story. Thanks for sharing.
Always Loved Richard Earl Beach ... Reb and Winger together changed my life . Thank you Reb Beach
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Met Reb at a East Coast music mall( guitar clinic) in Danbury CT In the mid 90s,,,,great person great player.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
First saw Reb at Wembley supporting Scorpions Winger was fantastic..
Reb is the whole reason I started listening to Winger his guitar work was absolutely amazing💪🏻👍🏻
Yeah he’s a great player and adds a lot to the Winger sound.
@@greatguitaristoftherockera2833 he is the winger sound
he seems like an even cooler dude than just guitar player.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
HA! He looks like a Earl. 😂
Great guitarist!
Thanks for watching.
Black Swan🤘💥
Yeah good stuff. Thanks for watching.
reb has gold and platinum albums under his belt, he also was in numerous guitar issues magazine year after year, when there was no multimedia platform to the masses.
sooooooo how many new guitarist have this now? so yes he is a legend!
Reb is a legend. Thanks for watching and the comment.
I had no idea he was heavily influenced by Steve Morse and the Dixie dregs. So cool that he ended up in a band with Rod Morgenstein.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Reb plays very clean live...very few missed notes. He reminds me of Vito from White lion.
If only Vito were still in the business and that he didn't have those hand issues. The competition between the two would blow through the roof!
Reb is such an incredible guitar player and so underrated! It always has pissed me off that Mike Judge/Beavis & Butthead completely derailed Reb/Winger's career. If anything, they should have done that to Poison, not Winger. Winger had all top-notch musicians and Poison, well...
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Strange that Judge didn't knock Motley Crue (or did he), in regards to the questionable reputation of that group.
It's also strange that Judge would knock on a group with a progressive rock background (Winger) instead of on a band that had to rely on outside people to play their instruments (Warrant).
I'd put him up against anyone in his genre....🤘
He’s a monster for sure. Thanks for watching.
He and Vai would be a tough contest.
Nobody tps like reb!
What a question... YES he's a legend !!!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Damn right he is!
He sure is. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Yes!
Indeed. Thanks for watching.
YES
Yep, he's a legend.
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Warren demartini
Also one of my favorites. The two of them are at the top of my list.
MONSTER GUITARIST !!!
Indeed. Thanks for watching and the comment.
I would say yes.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
How can you ask a question like that ?
It’s easy to ask it. Everyone has different opinions and taste. I think he is. Thanks for watching and the comment.
@@greatguitaristoftherockera2833 he sure is, its called sarkasm, my friend..there is ni doubt about the quality of Reb Beach
Reb got chops
Yeah he does. Thanks for watching and the comment.
I got to see him fill in with Dokken. Pretty disappointed I didn't get to see George Lynch, but it was an acceptable substitute.
They are both great players. Thanks for watching.
Black magic nuff said!!!!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
@@greatguitaristoftherockera2833 my pleasure!!!

Indeed. Thanks for watching.

Legend doesn't quite cover it.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
u have to be clueless to not know reb beach is right there amongs the best
Thank for watching.
Play some flipping music!
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately there are copyright laws.
That’s saying something: he’s up there with the greats of the 80’s. Lol😂Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Alex Lifeson, Tony Iommi, are legends. Legends are rare. So no, Reb is not a legend. Good guitarist, yes. Underrated yes but not a legend.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Reb is legend on his own for sure, not notorious like these legends, but better guitarist then all of them😅
