Robotics Labs can make alot prototypes of robots but they dont mass produce them cause they usualy only have the general resources but not in insane amounts due to funding. The job of mas production is reserved to factories due to them only requireing the needed recources and not the general wich makes funding a large amount of robots duable.

the robot abilities were insanely fun! The mobs had a few quirks of course but that's happened with every mod I've ever commissioned because mobs are hard to make, you did great :)
Also the creativity with the upgrade system was massive, that turned out perfect
