So happy to see the Cover Girl Mink blush spotlighted. It’s a great alternative for the Wet and Wild Rose Champagne they discontinued. I am certain WnW tried to dupe that actually. Another must have is the Cover Girl Sophisticated Sable Contouring trio. And these are under $6
Agree on those wet and wild balms. They are gorgeous and has a satisfying click applicator so you don’t mistaking keep twisting it up until there is too much. I have not heard anything talk about these or the $1.99 Relove Revolution lip gloss minis. The formula is fantastic. They are so pigmented. They just need to make it in a much larger size and expand the shades. Soft Mink blush and Sabel in the trio are gems. So is the Almay Healthy Hue blushes. A concealer formula and pigmentation that has full coverage while being so thin (so great for dry or aging under eyes) is the Physicians Formula Instaready although the Mac type packaging sucks. Another is the Neutrogena Healthy Radiant concealer… another I hear hardly anyone talk about.
Yes, absolutely love the wet n wild balms! Just HATE the packaging- I really wish they’d change it so I could actually throw it in my purse without the top flying off immediately 🥲 I’ve been using the clear one as a lip primer and it’s been so great for prepping my lips! I usually just let it sit and swipe off the excess before I go in with my lipstick or gloss. Game changer!!!
This! Been searching for another formula like it so I can have other colors 😢 Only milanis blushes come close so far but I’m about to try the new essence ones!
Yes! All these products are great! Ought the L’Oréal balm makeup and love it! Will try that Revolution blush, and all those lip products are fantastic…. Bought them on your recommendations and no need to spend so much money on high end❤️. Thanks to you, I have saved so much🌸☺️🌸
Those fruit fetish lip oils are so fragrant they remind me of the old lip smackers from the 90s. Speaking of the 90’s, I could swear my mom had that cover girl blush & the same exact color in the late 90s as well. Glad it’s making a come back I love that color.
“Cruelty Free” while using mica, that abuses children and types from a phone. Tech products like smartphones are no exception unfortunately when it comes to exploiting people and animals. Their footprint is huge. Of the 83 stable and non-radioactive elements in the periodic table, at least 70 are found in your smartphone.Y’all are narcissistic hypocrites.
Kokie Skin Perfect foundation, the original is so good and it’s another one that’s under the radar, and the undertones are so good (unlike any other drugstore brand and even a lot of high end brands) where cool is actually cool and warm is warm without leaning orange or red like so many brands do (Cover Girl, L’Oréal in a lot, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Flower, Milani- they either go too dark and too yellow or the ones labeled neutrals are leaning yellow while cools are neutral and warms are orange. Kokie actually has everything from coolest to olive undertones, true golden undertones, and their customer service is always top notch. Hard Candy has been coming out with a ton of great products and many dupe not just high end but luxury brand products.
Tried a few new W&W sarin lip tics they are all beautiful! Got all 4 I found. Been eyeing those huge Revolution blushes they look beautiful but I need 5 more lives to wear the Milani rises all so good and the baked ones. lol!
Jessica Braun spoke about the Maybelline singles in Nude Glow and another more neutral shade recently. I got Sterling Greige, if you like more of a cool but still neutral everyday slap on and go shimmery eyeshadow…these are GORGEOUS. Not too much but enough to notice.
love the age perfect balm! im looking for a dupe for the old Lancome Juicy Shakers.. remember those? i miss them so much esp Mangoes Wild.. such a beautiful orange summer gloss 💚
I like Makeup Revolution Baked Highighter (they're the same as Baked Blush) but... There are 2 problems of this highlighter: 1. It makes the texture of the skin muuuch more visible, everything, your pimples, pores, wrinkles will be much more textured. 2. Idk is it relatable to everyone, but in my case, my baked highlighter was very fragile. It got broken into pieces immediately after I bought it, and I didn't even shake or throw it on the floor.
I got one of the Wet N Wild balms when they first came out, I loved the shade and how cushiony they feel but I'm pretty sure mine was rancid from the get go 😬 it smelled pretty bad and then it'd leave a very unpleasant aftertaste, I wore it just a couple of times and tossed it 🗑️ and I agree with what others say about the packaging, it'd get everywhere... I wanna try the Milani Lip Oil but I haven't been able to find them anywhere, they must be good cuz they're flying out of the shelves 😆
Omg, I thought they were just like that lol. I love all mine, but they all since being bought (have 4) smell like waxy crayons. Leave a weird lingering wax taste. Especially my fav color taffy daddy it's the strongest .I Dont kno why I never thought they was on the verge of expiring!!! I guess cuz they all smelled that way brand new. I must buy another!!!
I WISH the balm worked for me! It is so orange.. I seem to always have the same problem across the foundation universe.. seems I have to mix two or more products to even look natural. I envy people who can use this and it look natural 😩
This is a shot in the dark but do you have olive undertones? I had this problem until I discovered I was fair olive at 24 😂 A green or blue mixer and suddenly everything matches
Also please find a dupe for the Bobbi brown extra lip balm! I have never had a lip balm that immediately hides all the lines in my lips! It’s almost like there is some kind of miracle primer in it!
The Wet N Wild balm is great! I have Taffy Daddy, and it gives the slightest brown tint which is perfect. IDK if I just got bad packaging, but the top doesn’t stay on well. I wish it was retractable, but since it’s not, I can’t carry it in my bag in case the lid comes off and product gets everywhere. 😢
Every influencer says, “this lip oil costs a tenth of the price and is just like Dior!!!” I go buy one, try it & it never is “just like Dior” or even close. It’s close in the way that it’s a lip product in a tube with a wand.
Does anybody remember the AZIZA brand Eye Brightening Pencil that we wore on our water line? It was this beautiful, unique, blue. Not too dark, rather light instead, but it just made eyes pop. This was in the 1980's, & I can't even find anything close to that blue pencil. The white liners do nothing for me compared to the AZIZA Eye Brightening Pencil. Does anybody else remember it, or have any ideas? I would so appreciate any response about this 😊❤❤❤.
Yes! I'm torn because I want to review it on my channel but based on reviews I've seen from UK influencers who already have been using it the past couple of months I'm not sure I'm going to like it. 🫤
I recently bought it and it applied easily, and found out later in the office lighting the shade was too dark and orange. It also seemed to accentuate every pore I had! I would like to try another shade and experiment with other primers or powders.
I'm a very white skinned lady. I have red from sun damage ( use ur sun screen kids) but I'm cool toned. The age perfect was SO yellow. I was disappointed. I'm yet to find a foundation that's a match. Its either too white or yellow. 😭 any suggestions would be nice.
The balm and the Age Perfect serum is too damn dark and yellow so fair to light skinned people can’t get away with it without using a mixer, moisturizer or something to balance it out, which defeats the purpose of getting one product you are wanting. It sucks too because they are really good products. They don’t have cool fair shades or even neutral which some of us cool tone ladies can get away with. It’s sucks because their products are so good for the most part. I get cover FX drops, or use very fair foundations to mix them with to get the colors I need but it changes the whole formula and is a pain. Milani cream to powder is similar and you can find a fair cool tone. It’s a really good formula and you’ll get the same type of results if you are wanting just something to even out your skin while still looking like skin- just wouldn’t go too heavy with either, but a BB/CC cream I personally think is a better bet.
What type of foundation are you looking for? Light, medium buildable, full coverage, more of a bb or cc cream. What’s your skin type and age? That will help a lot with people being able to suggest to you foundation that really suits you.
A few years ago I discovered a online brand called essence. I really like their "Pretty Natural" foundation. Actually a lot of their products are real good, and not as pricey as most drugstore makeup. One of the best things about the foundation for me is that it doesn't oxidize like most do.
Try Wet & Wild Dewy Photofocus Foundation in Shell Ivory! Most you’ll lose is about $6 if it doesn’t work. If you are super fair, it may be a bit too dark, but I am quite fair and cool with a bit of red (rosacea-ish on nose and chin) and it’s a very good match for me! Just discovered 😊
@@user-tg9op3sb4v I have yet to try the dewy version but the original is so nice, but I could never get past the very pungent house paint smell. I hear the dewy doesn’t have that issue so I will have to try it. They also have much fairer shades that are almost white for the fairest of skin tones.
But do they hate good? The lip oils. I bought the one from cover girl and it taste nasty. 8$ wasted but let me tell you I bought one at dollar tree from wet/wild and OMG is way better. For a $1.25
Hi Jen, I thought you said you didn't like the Loreal Age Perfect 4-in-1 balm. You said in a past video "the Loreal oxidized like crazy on me! I looked like I had applied orange bronzer when I got home and it wore off quickly and got patchy. Definitely a no from me!" I'm confused :/
Yes I have all the colors. I actually like them a lot and I think most balms don't last that long before you have to reapply, so these aren't much different IMO.
That’s L’Oréal one is impossible to find. I have look everywhere CVS,Ulta,Target and so many other places around me. I even travel to NYC hopping I was more lucky, but nothing. I was wondering if they place them in the lotions department, but nothing there either. I end up ordering online. So hopefully I get it: I’m kinda worry that they’ll said they could not find it either. Anyone else is having trouble finding it?
Really liking L’Oréal’s Age Perfect 4in1 tinted balm goes on unnoticeable! I use 10/Light. Also got Cover Girl +Olay simply ageless not bad but do prefer the L’Oréal one. I mostly use foundations to even out color, reduce maybe some redness and spread from face to neck are. Almay Healthy Hue Blush in peachy/coral shade I believe it is can’t find name in cardboard turned out very pretty. It’s been years I hadn’t tried anything from Almay. Last time tried some eyeshadow and had no color punch …at all. Lol!
They have a very mild flavor/scent...IDK if it's rose...it might be slightly fruity? I hate rose scented lip products and these don't smell like that to me.
I absolutely love that L'Oreal balm. Esp over the ELF halo glow. It's such a lovely experience to apply.
I have the Covergirl blush in Soft Mink! It really is awesome!
Try the L’Oréal foundation balm with a flat top foundation brush. You’re welcome. ❤

I love milani fruit one. Love them more than my diors and that says a lot
They last longer too on the lips than Dior and Fenty
I have the cherry milani lip oil and I completely agree they are soo good for only 10$!!!

going to try the CG blush - thanks, Jen!
Soft mink by cover girl has been my holy grail for years. So underrated
This! Been searching for another formula like it so I can have other colors 😢
Only milanis blushes come close so far but I’m about to try the new essence ones!
Bought it after I saw this. Shocked!! Love it! ❤
Thank you for the new wet and wild recommendations 😊😊
Omg I just told people in my live about the cover girl blush! I’ve been using it for years and it’s just so pretty! One of my absolute favorites
I love the L’Oréal age perfect balm! I have a ton of complexion products and find myself reaching for that the most!
The wet and wild lip balm products are amazing!
That Cover Girl blush must be old because I remember my mother having it when I was younger. And I'm 51
Yaaaas age perfect!!! Soo good!!!!
Yes! All these products are great! Ought the L’Oréal balm makeup and love it! Will try that Revolution blush, and all those lip products are fantastic…. Bought them on your recommendations and no need to spend so much money on high end❤️.
Thanks to you, I have saved so much🌸☺️🌸
Oh I love the age perfect.
Thank you so much for being with us !
CoverGirl soft mink was my goto in highschool.
The Wet and Wild comfort balms are so good and the Milani fetish glosses are the best! 🥰
I love the L'Oreal Age Perfect Balm! It's looks so good on my skin and evens out my skintone!
I'm obsessed with the wet n wild comfort lips I have almost every color in doubles !
Those fruit fetish lip oils are so fragrant they remind me of the old lip smackers from the 90s. Speaking of the 90’s, I could swear my mom had that cover girl blush & the same exact color in the late 90s as well. Glad it’s making a come back I love that color.
Wow, lots of things to choose from! Everything except the L'Oreal is cruelty free, so I'll definitely be checking out those options. Thanks!

Jen, I love your RUclips videos (my faves) but you do a great job with these shorts. I've seen many, & yours are the best!
Aw thank you so much! I have a lot of fun making them. :)
The revolution blush was amazing, but the packaging broke in like a month 🥲
Love your short videos, so helpful! Thank you for making those! ❤❤❤
Keep the Milani Lip Oil in my purse. That L'OREAL foundation is amazing. The Age Perfect Balm fas been one of my fav bases since last year!
If you say so Jen, then it is so. Thank you.
I ❤️ Black Opal
Milain's fruit fetish lip oils are my faaaave!!!

The nyx fat oil lip drip is really good too, plush feeling and not sticky! I got the sheer red and its so pretty ❤
@@mediocrebankai I haven't tried them, at least not yet 😉 I got one of the Covergirl Yummy Glosses and I liked it, very pillowy... thnx! 🤗
@Excuse Meow me too! Taffy Daddy was the stinky one 🤣 the shade's pretty but the scent is not 😬 maybe I should've gotten the clear one 🙄
@Excuse Meow melted crayon gone bad 😆

Love the rose balms!
We don’t have the elf lip balms here in India yet 👌but they look so great
I love the age perfect balm I just wish they had a better shade selection! Deeper shades in that would be the PERFECT skin enhancer dupe!
Also please find a dupe for the Bobbi brown extra lip balm! I have never had a lip balm that immediately hides all the lines in my lips! It’s almost like there is some kind of miracle primer in it!
You have nothing to erase you look gorgeous no matter what
Prices please! Otherwise great video! Love Revolution blush and highlighters! Thanks Jan!✨🥰🙏🏻✨
I have been using the cover girl mink blush for years. I just wish I could find a matte version in that shade. It's perfect for my pale skin tone
The Wet N Wild balm is great! I have Taffy Daddy, and it gives the slightest brown tint which is perfect. IDK if I just got bad packaging, but the top doesn’t stay on well. Yes the packaging could use some work!
@@JenPhelps what's the deal with W&w😂... Every single top either comes off or cracks😮😂
Wet N Wild always has the worst packaging. Thanks for the heads up;)
I absolutely need to try these! 😊

The age perfect balm is cool but the shades are 🗑️ All the medium - med dark shades are straight up orange. Shame cuz the formula looked great!
Crazy how expensive L’Oréal is… it’s 12,95€ in Germany including taxes.
I wanted to try that age perfect but all the medium tones are ORANGE 😢
