Eleven times wider than Earth. Over 300 times more massive. And a million times more terrifying. Jupiter looks like a beautiful ball of swirling clouds, but on the inside, it's a gaseous hell. But what if things took a different turn for the king of the Solar System? What if Jupiter wasn't a gas giant at all? What if, instead, it was a rock giant?

If Jupiter were a rocky planet, the density would be insanely high as enormous pressure builds at the core, further compressing the core and thus requiring more mass just to maintain the same size as the actual Jupiter. Earth would likely be pulled further from the sun and same with Mars. Saturn might lose many of its furthest moons due to Jupiter capturing them.

The center is a big Diamond. Pure Carbon goes straight to the center and is put under so much pressure it is transformed into something else. And if it were rocky, you couldn't stand on it, the gravity would be eleven times that of where you are standing right now. If you weren't crushed your heart might explode.

A lot of these types of videos are so speculative.
I mean, Jupiter's orbit could be further out, due to its mass, so it wouldn't impact the inner planets. However, there may be no inner planets, cos it would have taken all the material. That said, it's what it is cos of where it is, as the gases were further out. Totally perplexing!

I think there's a reason we don't have a giant Jupiter version of a rocky planet. In fact I think we are not just a rocky planet but also a gas planet. I have a feeling all of the planets are failed stars. Like hot and cold there is a boundary between rocky and gas planets. I can't explain it as I am only a thinker. As the more gravity a planet has the more dense it becomes. Almost like a vacuum.

Antarctica because it's atmosphere is not thick because of its size this also what could happen however we won't talk about it
