@@WhatIfScienceShow A ball wrecking question to globe slaves: According to you, earth is a giant treadmill, right? Because "it's spinning" you say. So any vehicle traveling at 100 kmph in the east direction for covering 100 km distance should take a longer time than covering the same distance in the westward direction at the same speed. Because earth spins from west to east, so while traveling west, the destination comes to you at 1600 kmph speed. So you should reach the 100 km westward destination much quicker. But in reality it takes exactly 1 hour to reach 100 km destination at 100kmph speed in both directions. This clearly scientifically proves that the earth is NOT spinning. CHECKMATE. Accept the flat reality, you won't regret.

I thought for sure you'd talk about the planets being in the same part of the solar system as their twin (example: Earth's twin orbiting in the same area as us and Mars orbiting the same area as twin Mars) or more interesting yet a duplicate solar system a few light years away. That'd be cool
Also, the twin would orbit the exact opposite side of the original planet. I believe the solar system would remain the same, except we would see two of the same planet, but Earth 2.0. We would never see Earth 2.0 from our planet. In addition, Earth 2.0 would have people who would be our twin. They would have a totally different lifestyle than we do.
It’d be like your townhouse burning down then decorating your new one precisely as it were. Except rather than simply moving next door with a mere distance of a firewall, it’s space travel. Lol I think I’d be infuriated because it’s the universe’s ‘Hat-on-a-hat’.
Wonderful video!! I love the videos about space and our planets . Keep up the great work!! Oh here’s a great what if story: What would happen to our planets if they were tidally locked to the sun? That’s a great what if idea and hope you can use it .
Can y'all next video be: What if all the planets were in the habitable zone Please!! Btw I really love all your videos. It's fascinating to say the least
If every planet had a twin, it would likely have a significant impact on the formation and development of solar systems. The gravitational forces between the twin planets would be much stronger, potentially causing disruptions in the orbits of other planets and influencing the formation of planetary systems. Additionally, it could potentially affect the likelihood of the development of life on those planets, as the conditions on each twin planet would be nearly identical. However, it is purely hypothetical as we have not yet discovered any twin planets in our own solar system or any other solar system we have discovered so far.
What if every twin shared the same orbit as its original counterpart like Mercury and Mercury twin on first orbit then Venus and Venus twin on second orbit and so on?
Maybe Earth's twin could have life that's evolved and adapted for the freezing temperatures, and it would mirror life on Earth, but everything's built for the cold
Why do you mix-up one planet with others ? You should keep the original one and the twin together in the same orbit. For example, don't mix-up mars with Jupiter. Although, keep original mars and twin mars in the Mar's orbit and original Jupiter and twin Jupiter in the Jupiter's orbit. And so on.
Japan would then suffer at least 10 nukes than 2 , that's all, But first things first, they would never succed in go with agressive nationalism for such a huge landmass
If earth crashed into Saturn and both are in the “habitable zone” wouldn’t that mean that saturn would be able to POTENTIALLY hold life after a couple million years? Isn’t that how “new” planets are formed
“Dwarf planet” was actually intended to be a new category of planet, the IAU just went behind astonomer’s backs and demoted it without their input. Trust me my astronomy professor went on - I shit you not - a 10-minute rant about it. Pluto IS a planet.
I have names for every planet’s 🪐 twin. I’d call Mercury’s twin Hermes, Venus’s twin Aphrodite, Earth’s twin Telus, (by the way Bright Side came up with the name not me) Mars’s twin Aries, ♈️ Jupiter’s twin Zeus, Saturn’s 🪐 twin Kronos, Uranus’s twin Callous, Neptune’s twin Poseidon, and Pluto’s twin Hades. And 283ed comment.
They're not twins, but we have binary systems right here. Pluto and Charon orbit each other. And there are asteroids that share Earth's orbital path like the planets in this video did. Multiple bodies that large sharing an orbit is unlikely though without one capturing or destroying the other.
Earth already has a twin planet, which is Venus, As both of the planets formed as twin planets. Earth is only slightly larger than Venus. It is clear who is better for life.
Wow! You never cease to amaze us! So great!!

Born in the 70s in school i learned that we had 9 planets and i always loved Pluto. After being demoted i only love it even more.

What if all the plants were twined with their own moons as well? Would any of them be habitable? Maybe Titan?
I was thinking that. If Saturn and Jupiter's moons were in the habitable zone then there moons might be able to support life.

Solar system fact: Venus is often called Earth's twin because of it's similar mass, size and gravity to Earth's
