For those unfamiliar, don't cut/tear rockwool when it's dry and breathe in the dust. If you must do it while dry, wear a mask, otherwise, soak it first.

I was thinking this too. A lot of sound isolation technology is made of rockwool (like my vocal reflection filter) and it tends to come with warnings against inhalation of particles.
@@EchotaisHealing you can start the plant in dirt and once big enough change it to an inch wide pool noodle with a slice taken out. Gently put the young seedling in it and put into the jar. This method also does away with need to have the net cup and pellets. Mike VanDuzee from “Keep in Growing, “ teaches this method. For those with more room also shows how to grown in 2 ft long downspouts. Blessings ...🇨🇦

I think those jars look great...'except the smaller jars require a lot more maintenance as the plant grows bigger. You'll have to water daily if you grow plants that are heavy drinkers. I grow in 1/2 gallon amber mason jars so it's a bit easier (amber jars will filter out 99% of the sunlight, which prevents algae growth), but I still have to water every day or every other day. And I usually mix and pH my nutrients in a gallon container and pour them into the smaller jars.
