Made me think of that too. Tim is always willing to give Gregg and Mark second and third chances and they mess it up. Thank god there was no Brandon Lee situation on set with Gregg handling that prop gun like a toddler.
It was a great tribute. But Greg needed to say. “ for your eyes only” or “ thunder ball” Gold finger etc. as Tim barked at him to do. That made it more special. But still a tribute or 50 year or bond. In bond land. It was neat seeing Greg say the film title and then firing the gun.
i just noticed that Gregg is wearing his Baskin-Robbins tie from Ant-Man, a role he didn't have to pay for as he was discovered by the great Peyton Reed!
This was an excellent segment despite Tim's interruptions. True film buffs and Bondheads like me enjoyed it immensely. It wasn't designed for cinematic illiterates.
Gregg's intro was a treat for bondheads everywhere! The moment that Tim came in as a lashing rageaholic was one of the hardest things I have ever had to endure as a long-time bondhead!
So my friend who introduced me to on cinema and I watched every single Oscar special in one night, and I fell asleep before the special that had this bit, I woke up the exact moment Tim went “so say that! Say that!!!!! SAY THAT!!!!!!!!” It was possibly the hardest I have ever laughed in my entire life.
I am working in the office today and there is someone on the other side of the wall that says "okaaaay" in the same manner and I had to come find this and see if I was remembering correctly. I was!
this is always hilarious but sometimes if i go into this in a serious mood the dysfunctional relationship between greg and tim reminds me of the one with my mother
It was the incredible image of this middle aged man sincerely re-enacting one of the most already ridiculous intro sequence gimmicks that makes this so funny
Another winner from Gregg! What an awesome 'tip of the hat' to James Bond's legacy and a true treat for all of us Bondheads. I feel as if I'm right alongside 007 himself as he gets ready to go on one of his famous adventures.
I think the best joke here is how Gregg thinks that him standing behind a green screen showing stills from Bond movies isn't something worth getting genuinely defensive about
02:15 "And Goldfinger...." *blatantly On Her Majesty's Secret Service* "....okaayyy...." (Tim, clearly a secret bondhead, nearly cracks up at this mistake)
My previous account was suspended for being too much of a gregghead. I've come back to say thank you to tim for really trying to make everyone have a good time
Suicide as a dedicated Tim-head, Greg blew it. There needed to be an explanation of what was happening. I did not understand anything, also, Gregg saying that Mark isn't Tim's friend was sickening.
@@SpinTheWords No wonder typtical Timhead that doesn't understand the value of quiet and mood when constructing a segment. Wants everything labeled for thim to read.
Gregg's dejected, halfhearted mood at his segment being ruined, into ruin, into restart, into visible energy coming back into his body language and then being cut off by Tim seconds later. Truly an amazing arc. Tim ruined Gregg's Land of Bond masterpiece, however i do concede that Gregg's mock firing at Tim was way out of line.
I think it's great that Gregg wore the costume of Dale (also an iconic movie character), but I think it would really have taken this segment up a notch if he'd dressed up like James Bond in a tuxedo. It would have made it less confusing for non-Bond heads as well.
It's a show where the death of a toddler has been a major plot point, and I still say that this is the saddest segment in the entire series so far. The way Gregg's voice cracks around 3:40 as if he's about to cry... I can't help but feel so sorry for him, and it's still somehow hilarious. I gotta say... this is a funny show.
IF HE CAN'T SEE WHERE HE IS, THEN HE CAN'T TALK ABOUT WHERE HE IS.

The Bond music restarting every time Tim re-introduces the segment is perfect.
Gregg thinking this could have possibly been a good segment is my favorite part.

This kinda hits home for some reason
he’s just so viscerally angry on the last one, it’s so perfectly delivered.
I've seen every bond movie, and Gregg is by far my favorite bond.
This comment deserves more upvotes
SO SAY THAT!!
Joe Pera would make a great bond as well.
I like the way Tim says “okay!l” around 2:13 and 2:20 Good job by Tim for trying to help Gregg. Too bad he couldn’t be helped.

3:24 when Gregg puts the gun up to his eye
Gregg got really close to being in big trouble with Tim
billygowhoop nail-biting!
That's true
he was about to be in a bad place for a long time
Yeah right. Gregg was gonna go bond on him
He will personally see to it that he never sees the light of day again.

At least your mother probably knows the plot of Star Trek 4
Yes, mother was always so... high...

3:50 perfect timing with the music.

Gregg wanted to fire off a few rounds at Tim and Dekkar, and rightfully so. They ruined what woulda been a tribute to Bond for the ages!
The music is so so perfect for this. The music stabs emphasising the chaos happening.
Gregg’s ponch and receding hairline really bring out the dashing core attributes of Bond.
Leave him alone
It was the incredible image of this middle aged man sincerely re-enacting one of the most already ridiculous intro sequence gimmicks that makes this so funny
He doesn't have a paunch he has insanely over-sized abs from doing too many sit-ups
Watching this is painful. The empathy part of my brain actually hurts now.

The fact Gregg thought this would be a cool bit.
Such a beautiful tribute.
Each time he pretends to fire the gun its tied to a different emotion. Gregg as the next bond would be a guaranteed 5 bagger.
