@@allesandradrago7111that she didn't know that cartridge was in her bag... Are you not familiar with WHY she got arrested to begin with? How about the trade that got her out? Sure, seems like a petty charge for Americans that have legalized or decriminalized marijuana in most states now, but she took stuff across international borders and thought she'd be fine, possibly because she assumed they'd be okay with it because she's a star and entitled to special treatment. When you visit someone, you don't come over and tell them what the rules are in their own home... That's kinda what she did. I personally didn't know of her before everything blew up, but she's sure good at selling her story and gaining recognition. Publicity is publicity. Regardless of anyone's opinion, she went there and broke their rules. It really doesn't take long to do a quick Google search to find out if that's a kind of fire you want to play with. Don't let her make you believe she's as dumb as she claimed to be when she got caught.

This just proves America goes over and beyond for citizens of other countries, and they do no show us the same grace!

Yes he was once in the US Marine RESERVE, but that status doesn't make him a veteran.
To be a veteran, a service member would need to be on Federal Active Duty.
Paul Whelan was in the Reserves, not Active duty.

Paul Whelan is an ex-Marine in virtue of once being a service member (a Marine Reservist). I understand the concept of "once a Marine always a Marine", but a service member still need to meet a certain criteria to be a veteran. Whelan didn't meet that criteria, but the misconception of him being a veteran still linger.
