Whatever the government/Putin wants is what will happen. That's what authoritarian governments are like. Heard her interviewed by Terry Gross yesterday. Changed my perception of the situation. Maybe if with WNBA athletes were paid on par with the NBA, these women wouldn't travel to Russia to play. My guess is that many now won't. After hearing the TG interview, I'm glad that Brittney was returned safely, and sorry for what she suffered and what she suffered while in school.
