I lost sleep, multiple nights thinking about her. I’m so relieved to hear of her state of mind, during the whole ordeal. She was thinking realistically, and knew to preserve her energy, for the long haul! The “taking personal responsibility”, practice, can also serve bring a level of peace, and calm, because it centers self, as the one empowered. There’s NO “shame” that she brought on her family. That ALL belongs to Putin!

BG is right to say " It is her fault" I am not piling on here. I am speaking as someone who lives as an expat. My life where I live, as I live it would be over, if i packed some cannabis products, legal in my home state, and came back to where I reside. I wouldn't become a political pawn ( that part is not BG's fault) but my family here would be greatly affected by my careless, hypotetical, mistake. Be careful packing bags for international travel, especially if you live and work where you are traveling to. BG is right to tell people to be mindful of that stuff.

The movie "Midnight Express" scared my generation of travelers. Brittney's experience will serve as a warning for her generation of travelers.
LOL. you're right Midnight Express did do a job on us. I will never forget seeing that movie in the late 70s. I traveled a lot as a backpacker and I wouldn't even breathe the word "marijuana".
