This channel is such a breath air from the rest of social media. I don't even fish but this channel has inspired me to someday do it.
I swear and especially when they cook bro be making me hungry
So, have you gone and caught any?
I've been meaning to go too, but I don't know if I have the confidence lol 😅😂
@@sharuan just go to the fishing shop, ask the guy for a beginner set up, he'll set it all up for you and give you some tips if you ask nicely I'm sure.
Go to almost any body of water (I'm sure you know a couple) and start fishing.
You'll learn rapidly whilst you're doing it, just get out there and start, don't over-think it :)
I haven't been fishing in quite a few years due to work and family, but now that everything has calmed down, I've binged your videos again, never gets old, and has inspired me setting up a weekend fishing trip I have next weekend.
Definitely getting some gear from you, support what you do, thank you for getting me back to the waters!
Always take some time for yourself to unwind and go fishing
Ya I gotta go fishing it’s been wayyyy too long… plus I’ve never even brought one home to cook cuz my family can’t stand the smell smh 🫤🫤🫤
How was that fishing trip
Oddly enough I began fishing after watching this channel. The first fish I ever caught was a trigger... a lot bigger than the one Matt's caught surprisingly, it was a ton of fun and something I will never forget.
They r good eating to and actually give a good fight for the size

Good job to Andrew and Fisherman life and the crew that helps Andrew catch that Marlin. Yeah it takes a team to catch fish like that great job everyone .
More catch and cooks matt! My favorite videos of yours to watch!

You don't need to take the skin off , here on the east coast we have a dish called fish on the half shell were you cook your fish with the skin on and once it's finished the meat is so flaky you eat it right out of the shell, cook it on a grill and you can add what ever spices while it cooks, you should try it, Larry
My favourite I could eat it every day
Just don't do that with snook. That's why it's nicknamed soap fish.
@@gregkirchner1108 well where I fish there's no snook to far south
Yeah you're right about that grilling method. The only thing I've found is the filet has a much more delicate flavor, it seems that the skin and the bones lended a more earthy fishy flavor and the fillet is much more delicate. Especially if you bleed the fish by cutting under its gills.
Its not just an east coast thing. 💀
The drone footage and editing have been getting better and better. Well done!
Bro please post the whole cook & eat!! It's so joyful to watch something well 👍
Nicely Done Matts! As always buddy. Love your work! Making me hungry!!!!
I've been out of action and missed a lot of videos but I'm binge watching em all now 😂💯
Congrats Andrew on the Marlin! Hell yeah!
My kinda fish and cook. Use what got and be flexible! Imagination is the greatest tool! Love from Mazatlan!
Awesome you’re about 7 years strong into this. Here’s to another 7 years 🍻
What an epic session! White trigger and a pargo mulato from shore! So dope
Those painted black sea bass are incredibly beautiful
“It looks calm now” a fat wave come waveing in😂
Loving the videography bro! And im lovimg the vibes and music it reminds me of when i started watching you!
Nice catch and release on that trigger fish even tho that was what you initially wanted. Only taking what you need, I respect that.
It's cool you went there. So fun to watch this angling adventure.

AWESOME Video Matt 📹 👏 👌.
Stay Safe 💕 💞 🙏 🙏
my fat ass is always "thats a good fish, one person meal"
I'm going to give you a suggestion go get two brillo pads they're 12 in by 8 in and wire them to the bottom of your shoe so when you're on a rocks and it's all wet like you're right now at the cities you don't slip it'll be like putting sandpaper on your feet or you can use a small piece of carpet tied to the bottom of your shoes and you'll have grippers you won't sleep on this rocks
Great show. I have caught a few Marlin in the Virgin Islands. I caught a black marlin one day. We would troll around for tuna and mahi. Sometimes a marlin will hit the bait.
You threw the wrong fish back bud. The trigger fish is one of the best-tasting fish in the ocean. I was literally screaming when you started to pitch him back....lol.
Yo bro. Try and work that 30g jig a little more. Let it drop and retreive. Drop and retreive with little movement of the rod tip to get them to react. I know its harder in those shallower spots but it will be more effective for you to work just a little more hahaha. Other than that, badass content and that area looks sick to fish. Been watching your videos since the beginning hahah.
Awesome video, my man! Your videos keep getting better and better!! Shout out to your editor, he has an amazing style. Let's Gooooo!!!! ✌️✌️
Awesome video big fan since long ago. It's so cool how the fish meat in some of the fish over there is blue. 🔵 🐟
Your in Mexico and I'm prepping for ice season...nice!
Y'all ought to start carrying a bag of tortillas, and maybe some salsa. We found they make excellent little edible disposable plates.
Good for you to spare so many fish. Blessings to you and your family.
B roll king at it again
barred snapper fight incredibly strong pound for pound. great eating as well.
I swear by the SP minnow inside sf and san pablo bay! Striper love it! Occasional halibut will come up and get it too
That sea bass is also called a hawkfish
We call those pargo roquero and tigrillos here in Costa Rica. Delicious fish.
great video! close timing on the waves when you came in with the triggerfish!!
what an opener!!
Watching from FIJI ISLANDS : and he “ BLEDEDD” !! 😂
the legend of the garlic rock

Atleast one video with ace videos💙💙💙🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Awesome place. Wish I could smell that cook through the phone lol
I need to send you a folding filet knife! Make your process so much easier! With better results compared to the 3” pocket master lol.. excellent vid as always!!
Thankyou for everything
Very good video pal thanks
Hey man, I also live in SF and I think a good type of pocket knife for you would be a Swiss Army knife hiker because we all know you aren’t the biggest fan of your tiny dull pocket knife.😂
esa ra jood naelad nemo kol bright na ang esda deha naka eskwela na ata good catch boss
Much love from San Jose CA 🙏🏻💯
chicken rig, high low, are really nice for getting trigger fish, at least in florida. trigger on the sp minnow is impressive !
Great video, as usual. Thanks
Rockin the G-Shock
nice titan trigger! We had a bunch of different species in Okinawa, they were MEAN fish man! they'll chase you around if you get too close to them for sure.
Great video congratulations on your catch!!!
Wonder if there are outtakes where Mats throws a fish and says over the rocks but it actually hits the rock. 😬 Would be a fun video with a collection of outtakes 😄
Great video
I love fishing so much , tried to follow my passion and find a place , the nearest beach and only beach here in Jordan is 4 hours drive , sadly fishing was not allowed , so I came back , dreaming of being able to find a place , I don't know where to go , I wanna stay forever near the beach fishing everyday
New video new comment me suggesting you try a Cuban yoyo to catch rockfish ! It's how I fish of the jetty here and catch everything from ling to perch with it . Try it out !
The first fish in Mexico is commonly called Meru Chino for markings on the side that look like Chinese writing. Good eating.
Great video!
Love your show, thanks
I love sp minnows. They work great for stripers.
Nice Video!!! 🐟
Used to watch your videos way back I just thought of you out of the blue no homo lmao and had to see if you still posting 💪🤙
🔥🔥🔥 catch and cook Brotha 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
Bro living life💯💯
I dont like fish but when you cook it, for some reason its looks god damn delicious
Dude, Get you self a nice, portable filet knife. Nice video. Thanks!
Same recipe different fish .COMEE ONN!!
Thumbnail makes sense now. I was trying to figure out how you caught a Barred Pargo in San Fran... but you ain't in SF and you're definitely in Barred Pargo territory. Nice fish.
are you above the high tide line? because rocks that get wet from the ocean/rivers/etc can explode when they get too hot and the water in them turns to steam
NERD
MISTER MAXIMUM GARLIC AND BUTTER! HAHA
I like how you consistently use a pocket knife. Dont need anything fancy as long as its sharp
must be cold there ay .got your hood y on
Some awesome editing
Marlin! Gorgeous.
You remind me of Denzel Jackson, a main character on the animated series Brickleberry 😆
Editing work is going crazy
Love watching the videos while I eating. Keep it up man🙏🏽 I appreciate every video you post
wanna go salmon fishing love the videos keep up the good work
Just a suggestion, but you should try putting some intense music on when the fish bites the hook! It would be a lot of fun to watch!
First cast snag is a good name for a band
The holy garlic rock
Trigger fish are awesome tasting
When u have a private island to ghostride the whip
Hey Matt , what kind of wireless mic are you using ? Love the videos BTW 🔥
When you visit San Diego to fish at La Jolla for some yellowtail I’ll let you borrow my 20 hobie PA 12.
BLACK SEA BASS yummy yummy
Hey man I love all the content but I suggest lowering music volume in the intro a bit. I have to turn down the volume then back up again after the intro.
In South Africa we catch great White Sharks 4 fun seriously
Did you clean up them coals or garlic ?
What was that clear looking circle that dispurse after it surrounded you. Just ss you cast out and say "its a straight retrieve,,it comes across the screen, straight at you then,,, you'll see what I Mean ,,was that something you reconiyas mechanical?
(Reconize As) is the word I meant
Editing skills are on fleek!
