It wouldn't take much for the event to become disorganized, and someone would get really hurt.

To be honest, one of the reasons I watch and follow Remy is that he's superman on a mountain bike. He rides trails and features so effortlessly. So...to see him stand up and say, "hey, I really just screwed that up" is somewhat refreshing. No excuses. Just a simple, yeah I made a mistake. I guess it's nice to see your superhero being honest and being a real person.

That was a tough go in the qualifying run. The amount of speed you have to carry in those narrow corridors is insane. The big gap jump on the flat was nerve wracking to me, as at times during the practice runs, the landing looked short. The last jump looked like you slid off the ramp on landing, which I thought that's what you were upset about. These races are so risky and you really have to be dialed in as there is no margin for error. Glad you made it through. Don't be disappointed. You lived to ride another day. As with racing, you never know what race day will bring, no matter how much you prepare. Be safe!

It's rare to have a rider who can hang with the elite and take the time to produce content as well. All in all, I'm stoked to get more race content from you, and salute you for challenging yourself with this.

    Awesome course.
Question: do the riders use shorter handlebars for these urban courses?
Also, do most riders use trail bikes or enduro bikes?
    Peace.

All that pavement and cement would make me nervous, what about that road gap, geez, ahh the comfort of crashing into trees is a luxury 😅

I'm curious of why they blow the whistle every so many feet or something is it to let people know that you're still good and up riding??

Contests and races are for people who need exposure. If you don’t need to do it, why bother. If it’s fun to you, go for it, but if not better off focusing on what you love to do.
Honestly if I were you, I would t bother with any sketchy races like this. Definitely seems like they could have made it safer and better staffed.

Fuck, Remy’s definition of pretty easy is next level. I wonder what he considers as hard.

Why does everyone run dirt tyres? Wouldn't you get more grip and speed with Street tyres?

Disaster would have been smacking your face into the wall and smacking your teeth out and breaking a shoulder and some ribs.
Getting hung up on a corner and not qualifying is pretty low down the list of potential disasters 😂
    Next time mate.
