Ugh, she's so cringe. There's one thing about having a more balanced stance in some issues that you have a bit of controversial opinions. But she's a pure doormat. Calling her a "pick me" doesn't even suffice to cover her toxicity
Omg Zoe, I myself am a taller girl (5’8) and I’ve always been SO insecure about it. But learning that you’re tall made me so happy because you’re literally stunning. Legit crying right now 😭 feel like a 10/10 💖💓💖
As a 5’9 girl I wish I was taller because I like how it makes some people insecure 😂 I find it so much more attractive when people are not threatened by it
Honestly though, I think nobody's a ten. Nobody is flawless. We all have flaws and problems and that's fine and normal, but if we pretend we're all perfect then we're never going to have a reason to improve.
yk she means that WITH ur flaws u r a ten, bcz basically everyone is unique in their own way so for example if u r suffering from acne or u (put milk before cereal) or u don't shave as much or any of that bs, it doesn't make u less or worth less than the people who don't do this, these traits are unique in us and they make us US so to let people put ur value according to their standards is a big mistake, u won't value less if u wear some brand of shoes that not many wear etc... that's just stupid, and for this to be a trend it makes people who already have nothing to be ashamed of feel insecure and change themselves just to fit in and become a 10 according to social media standards while there was nothing wrong with them in the first place, it's just toxic sending these messages to millions of people and especially teens (coming from a teen herself). Also Zoe wasn't saying that people shouldn't improve, in fact this trend has nothing to do with improvement, it's just to make people's standards high and u have to be inhumane to fit them, leading to many insecurities so don't get the wrong message firstly please, and secondly, never trust social media when it comes to trends before u do ur search and hear people's opinion about it, this became way too long but i just wanted to make it clear, thanks for spending some time of ur day to read this comment
@@mariamxx7296 Hey, sorry I should have clarified, I wasn't trying to defend this trend, I agree it's dumb and can definitely cause insecurities. I just meant in life I don't think we're all a ten, because while people are worthy and valuable, none of us are perfect. I think it is important to remember that we can always grow and learn- we don't have to become perfect, we should just always try to become better. Ofc I don't mean 'flaws' like keeping plants in your room or not shaving, I mean working on becoming kinder or working on your organisation skills, or things that are genuinely important in your life. This is how I prefer to see it, because I think if we say everybody is perfect then the idea of perfect loses its meaning. But if it helps you to think that way then that's fine too. Anyway, thanks for replying to my comment, I hope you have a lovely day :)
One thing that stands out for me in this trend is that when boys do it, they start at 10 and then "degrades" the girl. On the other hand when girls do it its the opposite way - he's a 5 (maybe in like visually or something) and then add some nice actual characteristic value (but he cares for you, remembers your birthday - which all by the way are the "bare minimum" in a way) and their "value/score" gets higher - so then when boys see these they can go like "well maybe I'm not that pretty but I do really care about her" and they can feel a little better. But for girls its more like "well it doesn't matter that I'm a 10 because I put cereals first." It just pushes the "you are never enough" narrative even more. And the grading with someone who cant clean/cook/do the laundry are just disgusting, because most boys don't do that either, they just want us to be their moms.
So really, we are all 10s. We all have negatives. But they also make us into who we are. If you don't like cereals or sleep a little more, the right guy/girl will really not care or they will think its just cute. Also yes, there will never be that "perfect" person. But we all learn to accept and compromise in relationships. It really wont stop you from having a deep relationship. You don't have to be perfect to deserve being loved. I love you all
This is why I don't want to put down my physical standards for a couple. Girls and women always humanized ugly and unattractive males saying but he's funny, he's charismatic and more. In the other side of coin, ugly and unattractive females aren't consider for this.
everything you said YES thank you!!!! but also just _holy shit_ you're so elegant-- the way you move your hands when you talk, your voice, how eloquent you are, your outfit-- the hair???? AND THE RINGS YOUR FINGERS ARE SO PRETTY WTH
Girl honestly your videos are changing my life and the way I look at myself. Im actually wanting to live for myself and get healthy because of you. I have no words to say how grateful I am. Thank you so much!
Very insightful as usual Zoe :) I don’t think I thought deep into this trend to link it to the modern dating experience and how using dating apps reduces people to numbers on a scale with our self worth shooting or dropping based on what others say. No wonder we’re all so full of anxiety and depression.
this is so true!!! also, the "I'm psychotic" and "I'm insane" trend and in the end, the "crazy" thing they do is know the Gone Girl monologue or something ordinary. I'm genuinely tired of social media. love your channel!
honestly i’m not sure how i feel finding someone with the same profile picture as me and my nickname. definitely surprised. this was truly a wtf moment for me
I think the fact that most of these TikToks are about “10 out of 10 girls” is just another way to debase and mock women. The fact that the majority of girls are taking on the role of the girl or also doubling down on the flaws of women just feels very icky to me, especially since the whole _ out of 10 rating system is mostly used by guys to objectify women. Don’t get me wrong, women can and do use this quantifiable value-based system too-but it’s not nearly as common, at least in my experience. It honestly just feels like another way for society to make women insecure and self-conscious, and doesn’t seem healthy overall; not to be overly serious, I just get annoyed when I hear men talk about women in this way because it so often leans into misogyny, and it makes me sad to hear girls participating in this trend to (ostensibly) gain the approval of men, especially since this seems like some very heteronormative toxic bs.
Calm down there are men and women saying she’s a ten and he’s a ten. It’s not that deep. At the end of the day it is how you take peoples criticisms about you and not what they say
@@annechief4165 But it is that deep because it does effect people. I grew up hating myself because of the internet and now I have to unlearn all of it. I hate being told "Oh but it's just words" yeah just words that are mainly directed to harm specific people. "she's too tall, he's too skinny, she's too big," all start to effect you especially if you grew up comparing yourself to others at a young age. We are humans and we learn based on refrence, if the refrence we have is impossible it starts to be harmful.
@@thelying2594 that’s exactly what I am trying to say, it is how you take criticism or hate at the end of the day, you took it badly. I use to until i became confident. So rather than complaining about a trend that is not going to stop, work on your self esteem and self care and yourself.
You should address this for men including. Lots of women and my friends like to play this game to the guys too. They actually play it more than the guys to be honest, and most circumstances the women ask the guy the she a 10 question, making them having to answer. How about we just cancel this game overall for both man and woman, as it is toxic to both genders.

Which is why some people may take vitamin C tablets when they are sick. :)
One thing you brought to light which is very important in my opinion is how much we don't realize what we see and exposed to on the social media and in our daily lives greatly affect our opinions and views on certain things. I feel like a lot of people aren't aware of it especially younger people on social media as you mentioned in the video. Just remember to take some things out there with a grain of salt.
"She's a 10 but she's vegan", isn't a trivial trait. I know damn well that I am incompatible with some people because I'm vegan, and that is just fine with me.
When i first saw this trend on twitter ,I actually thought its a positive trend and they are talking about the age like "she is 10(years old) but she knows how to love herself" and I thought it was talking about the maturity she has when she is actually just 10 years old and I could totally relate to most of the tweets about this trend but now after i know that its totally about judging people based on their unique traits I just feel so bad .. THANK YOU for sharing such a video ,it was absolutely needed and proved to be an eye opener for me tbh .Love your videos btw 🙂
Who else find this trend kinda icky but not for the fact that people are turned off by random human traits, but for the reason that we are “rating” humans as a whole as if they’re a product review? Especially considering most of this trend starts with a “she” ? It appalled me how in a society that pats themselves in the back for believing in “equality” we still manage to find ways to be “semi-sexist” with it being subtle enough to not be cancelled on twitter for but still is, aka “she’s a 10 but..” “would u rather have thot daughter or…” “bruh girls vs uwu girls” and the list goes on…
You upload this video when i posted this trend on my stories for the first time lol. I really love the fact that I found your channel. What you say makes sense, rating people, will always bring insecurity like we can't be ourselves.
It's like makeing a charecter you have to give them flaws or they will just be boreing and feel unreal , imprefections give charecter and just make you , you .
Can you please film a video about fashion / styling tipps / how you developed your style? I love your analysis videos but every time I watch them I also think: Damn! That’s a very cool outfit!✨
I always believed that people should love you for you and you shouldn't be a people pleaser or even try to do that in a relationship, in any relationship I believe people should love and care for you. Not because you don't have this or you can't or don't know how to do that does make you not loved or a 1/10. I don't care about number but I would say that you should find someone who loves you for you, but start but loving you for you. In my opinion every one is a perfect 10. But going by personality it can make a difference. But this is just in my opinion. Thanks Zoe for touching on this subject. ♡

Love this! I do think it's good to understand we can improve though... not thinking "oh I'm so horrible" or being down on yourself all the time, but knowing we aren't flawless and there's always some habit or mindset that we can improve... thinking we are flawless can be super unhealthy and cause us to hurt those around us, so definitely have balance (:

Zoe, I’m so glad ur on yt. I’m a millennial but i vibed with gen z’s my whole life, I think that we need to feed ea other in terms of positive affirmations and discussions, im afraid that most of the time some older gens seemed to have already checked out and to be honest, given up on any possibility of a changed and intelligent society….currently literally going through all your videos, please keep them coming, most of the time you literally say what I am thinking.
Italian girl in Canada with an Italian accent checkkk! Ngl, I always kinda try not to sound Italian. I mean, you want to learn English, sound like the others, like an American, but then, as some other international people told me they liked my accent, I really understood the difference between pronunciation and accent, and now I like it and it doesn't bother me. Anyway, 1:00-1:06 really hit me. I always try to be funny, and sometimes I am pretty "random" like, I say some uncontextualized stuff to make the other person suddenly laugh and "give life" to the moment. Sometimes I think I am too much, like I always force myself into friend groups, say some stuff and sometimes make people laugh. But some people have told me I'm funny and nice to have around, but I kinda don't believe it sometimes.
some years ago, a friend of mine showed my picture to some dudes she knew (like okay why, tho) and two of them said ten and the last one said seven. back then my self esteem was lower than the last ring of hell so "three points less than a perfect score" made me felt miserable. but over time i started to realise, wait why tf do i even care. and that mindset started to fumigate into my lifestyle. but only recently have I fully embraced it and started looking after myself properly. i've never been happier nor healthier; i'm confident in what I do and i'm still working on my self esteem but as my capabilities grow, so does the appreciation for my mind and body. life is a beautiful thing! it's a shame so many people hold themselves back because of the possibility of others' perception. to whoever is reading this, your hard work does not go unnoticed so keep going. you thank yourself whenever you devote time into your betterment.
Sometimes people get so caught up in trying to be perfect they forget to be themselves. No one with a personality and opinions will be liked by everyone all the time and that’s okay. It’s okay to be different, to stand out from the crowd, and if someone doesn’t like you for you that’s okay. Find those who will value you for the unique things that makes you you!!
"so, you don't want animals to be killed or exploited for your own satisfaction. Now you're not even half as attractive as before." How pathetic do you have to be to think like that...
Bro don't let stupid tiktok dictate your self confidence?? It's full of people who know nothing. And even if they don't think you're a ten, just remember how invalid their opinion is in terms of your own life. You're the main character of YOUR life so don't let these petty people you don't even know, dictate ANYTHING.
ever since i watched your videos, i could not open tiktok anymore!! and i feel so happy by that because i am constantly scrolling on tiktok the whole day :(((

Ok, but the one with the chocolate mint ice cream is actually pretty valid. I appreciate people who stand by their preference of that particular ice cream flavour.
Another night I was in my bed just wondering, Will I find a partner? Will I ever find my soulmate? Is it even possible in this day and age? Because to me now dating, or like love in general feels fakey and more like game (like how you said) than actual love, I was worried about myself, since day by day I'm just losing interest from the idea of falling love and experiencing it properly, It could be that I might have had a Toxic partner before, But anyways it more than that, I found myself seeing the modern society's view on love and how they present it on social media, Our idea/view in love is getting messed, Everything is considered as a red flag, doesn't matter whether it's a boy or a girl, Society just wants a perfect partner, Forgetting that they are human too, and just like a human we have flaws that we can improve and become better day by day. Society expects certain thing from a man/woman when they are dating, oh a man is supposed to do that or a women should do that blah blah blah, and honestly, it's annoying, it's a good thing that society doesn't except abuse or any kind of stuff and encourages the partner to leave if they are experiencing it, but still there is a lot more we need to improve as a society when it comes to love.
Oh god this is kind of a gamble. I really didn’t think love existed before I met my partner. And he just kind of happened when I least expected it. Before I would see other people and myself be in relationships for the sake of being in a relationship. I 100% think it’s harder because people are so judgmental and hang around people for the wrong reasons 😭
@@maryp9923 Hearing Boys or Girls have partner just for "fun", makes me wonder if love even exists at this generation, don't get the wrong idea, I'm a fellow Gen Z too, people breaking up after one week or just multiply dating just for fun, seems more like a hobby then actually being in love. I do agree your reason why you said it's harder to find a Real one and not those fake TikTok one, I mean im gonna be honest, How many of your TikTok/Social media couples feel real? Especially the ones younger and dating and do seem a bit sketchy. Anyways, I'm glad you met your partner, and hopefully you guys stay happily together, A random youtube comment! :D

For me, this trend started on Instagram. There he had a completely different mean in the beginning. It was about a dog or other pet that is 10 years old or months old, but it still does something inappropriate for its age. For example, she is 10, but she still sleeps with her soft toy in an embrace. Why did this trend eventually turn from tenderness towards animals into stupid jokes?
I needed this video right now, thank you so much! I like myself well enough as I am, but sometimes other people take issue with things and it brings me down. I’m not perfect to them so it makes me feel bad about myself. If I did one of these for me it would be like “she’s a 10, but she had a dyed hair phase, laughs at immature jokes, is vegan, and talks a lot.” Like so what? Still a ten 😁
I love you Zoe but I was ready to cut the video thinking you’d be overthinking a light funny trend and you kind of did BUT I stayed until the end and I don’t regret it. Love the final thought. Makes me feel like I’m a 10. Thank you girl for your positivity. ❤❤
It wasn’t until I fell in love with someone, and truly loved EVERYTHING about him that I started to realize that being “perfect” or hiding the things about you that you think are weird or mot good enough, you will never ever be truly loved. If I person only likes the ideal of you, they will never love you. I always thought I had to be a perfect person and hide all my flaws and everything that made me weird or even just human because others wouldn’t love me But when I found myself charmed by things that are deemed unattractive or “weird” or something that would make someone “not a 10” I realized that other people can see me like this too, and so did the person who I saw like this Then I looked even deeper and realized I loved all of my friends and family members because of their weird habits, silly personalities, and strange hobbies. Without me knowing about them they wouldn’t be my loved ones, they would just be people I know.

@@rooo358 agreed!
@@rooo358 yeah she just really needs help
Tbh... Her own audience has called her a D1 Athlete 💀
You get what you surround yourself with.
Ugh, she's so cringe. There's one thing about having a more balanced stance in some issues that you have a bit of controversial opinions. But she's a pure doormat. Calling her a "pick me" doesn't even suffice to cover her toxicity
HOW DOES SHE EDIT HER VIDEOS THEY’RE ALWAYS SO PRETTY
Omg Zoe, I myself am a taller girl (5’8) and I’ve always been SO insecure about it. But learning that you’re tall made me so happy because you’re literally stunning. Legit crying right now 😭 feel like a 10/10 💖💓💖
You're a 12, the height adds attractiveness points🤝😌👌
As a 5’9 girl I wish I was taller because I like how it makes some people insecure 😂 I find it so much more attractive when people are not threatened by it
Girl I am 6'
Don't be insecure. Wear the clothes you want, do the stuff you want to do. With that height and confidence you'll be unstopable
Be confident cause I'm really short and above 5'6 is my ideal height
Tall people are so hot no matter what gender
I love you all
@@kyrak.4143 true lol
@@kyrak.4143 It doesn't work this way. Women are not that mean to the opposite sex.
@@kyrak.4143 I would prefer if they just quit it and we go ahead as always 🥲

your worth shouldnt be based on numbers , just be yourself because the only thought that matters is yours

So rather than complaining about a trend that is not going to stop, work on your self esteem and self care and yourself.
i think this kind of content is so unique and i love the way you explain your opinion very respectfully and eloquently.
I bet when it comes to dudes it would be like "but he's short/a gamer/has reddit/watches sports, etc". Yeah this is thanks to social media everything is politicized and polarized. I really hate it. Zuckerburg really ruin society single-handedly

I hope you liked your stay here in Europe! Take care and tysm for this video and making my day better ❤
God sent His one and only Son to come die on the cross for us.He took that punishment that we deserve so u can have eternal life

"She's a 10 but she's also fluent in sarcasm and cursing in the most random of languages so people don't know what she's saying but she still gets the satisfaction of cussing"😂😂😂
We're all 10s
We're not 10s, we're not numbers. It's very toxic to rate people's appearance like that. Everyone is so beautiful that their body can not be quatified
@@juliee593 I'm sorry that you took it like that, I agree with you that everyone is beautiful ✨ I just used the number to make a connection with the trend.
@@incrediblefelis oh I see that you had good intentions :)
Sorry I just always point out whenever people rate others with numbers, because I find it pretty bothersome. Sorry I didn't mean to attack you
@@juliee593 Honestly I really like your approach, why should we rate eachother on a 1 to 10 scale when we're all beautiful and unique in our own ways?
The 'she's a 10' has been hard to watch aside from the funny ones.. I already "joke" about how I feel like "I'm a 2" half of these things that people say lowers the number is what I do, and I feel so bad
The things I love about about myself are typically the ones everyone marks as negative or cringe. I love that I listen to pop music and I love that I put milk before my cereal.
Find those who will value you for the unique things that makes you you!!
i really love the conclusion of this video, you smashed it xx 💜✌🏼

For me, this trend started on Instagram. There he had a completely different mean in the beginning. It was about a dog or other pet that is 10 years old or months old, but it still does something inappropriate for its age. For example, she is 10, but she still sleeps with her soft toy in an embrace. Why did this trend eventually turn from tenderness towards animals into stupid jokes?

It wasn’t until I fell in love with someone, and truly loved EVERYTHING about him that I started to realize that being “perfect” or hiding the things about you that you think are weird or mot good enough, you will never ever be truly loved. If I person only likes the ideal of you, they will never love you.
I always thought I had to be a perfect person and hide all my flaws and everything that made me weird or even just human because others wouldn’t love me
But when I found myself charmed by things that are deemed unattractive or “weird” or something that would make someone “not a 10” I realized that other people can see me like this too, and so did the person who I saw like this
Then I looked even deeper and realized I loved all of my friends and family members because of their weird habits, silly personalities, and strange hobbies. Without me knowing about them they wouldn’t be my loved ones, they would just be people I know.
I am worth more than any number this universe can afford ❤
