I'm a local raised here after my dad retired from the Navy in the 1970s. We haven't done some of the items you listed. You've given me inspiration to go out and explore my Hawaii home. Thanks.
Bravo! Thanks for sharing. Looks like you are having no problems dealing with the rock fever that some experience living in Hawaii. You guys seem to be enjoying Island/Army life? By the way, good job on doing things professionally with your channel. You have a great talent or gift if you prefer? Blessings from North Carolina.
Navarro Family here!! My wife 3 kids and 2 dogs are PCS to Schofield in April. We watched all your videos and love your content!! My wife calls you and your family our friends even though you don't know us 😅😂 We can't wait for our new adventures that await us! Thank you for all your information!! Hopefully we get to see you were BIG Fans lol don't mean to be weird 😂 🤙
That’s awesome! No, that’s no weird at all! I’ve met some amazing people like that! I hope I do run into you guys! I also hope you love it here! Where are you guys moving from?
We moved from Ft Carson, we just arrived the other day and my family and I are already in love with this place! We want to do so much we don't know where to start.😊
Thank you so much!! It means a lot! I love what I do! I totally understand! If it wasn't for the military we would never have been able to live out here! When we are finished with our tour, I told John we are going to have to come back and visit often! I bet you are excited for your trip!
@@theWiggyFamily I can’t imagine living in Hawaii for a few years and then having to leave. That’s gonna be hard LOL We only stay for 10 days when we visit and we hate leaving. Thank you for sharing your adventures! Watching your videos always brings us so much joy.
The hope is always that the next duty station will be exciting enough that it will help to let go of Hawaii. I don't think I will ever truly let go of this place. It has been so magical! That's actually what John and I are doing right now. Researching our next duty station as we will be going in soon to re-enlist. The army always has the last say but you can use your re-enlistment as leverage to choose a location.
@@theWiggyFamily we are stationed in Fort Wainwright not many stores, definitely small town vibes. Very dark during winter. Not much to do on the super cold days like -40s. A lot of outdoor activities! But so beautiful! I can see the Aurora from our backyard and housing is nice! If you guys ever decide to come to Alaska I would go to JBER in anchorage. Mix between city and beautiful nature
We were there during all the covid restrictions so a lot was open . Im looking forward to going back with things open now. You look aamzing. You look like youve lost some weight since the first video i saw when you moved on Schofield and it had been 48hrs. Hawaii does that to you. I didnr even try and i ate so much good food and lost weight there. Its the Hawaii magic
In 2021 they wouldnt let my dying dad into the Us Arizona. Because he was diabetic and no bags but i had to have his insulin on for ER. It wad a small diabetic bag and they said no then they gave us attitude andbthen found out it was canceled and didnt refund our money. My dad never got to go and he died the day we left. This time im gonna get to enjoy hawaii with no restrictions and not being someones caregiver. I was so busy with VA apts with him i rarely saw a lot but i still enjoyed it. The Luas were closed at that time.
You werent scare? Ive heard of dolphins takinf people down to their cove andndrowning then to death then trying to mate with them. I heard they can be jerks. How do you know when to stay aeay from them
Thank you so much!
