I followed support instructions and reset my case and buds which fixed the rapid power drain in the case. They last forever now and everytime I come back to these buds the case is 100% as are the buds 👍
On my current headphones I've done a lot of research before buying, but after your review video, I pulled the trigger on Vista 1. After a couple years they still work great. I just travelled to Sweden with it, just a pleasure. Once they're spent I'll be buying whatever the latest Vista is on the market.
On my vista one the left earbud stopped playing audio even though the controls worked on it. Vista wouldnt do anything about it because its over a year after purchase.
The best one are Tarah Pro..change my mind haha Its a shame that they dont sell them anymore and there arent other alternatives (with the corded cable and magenetic join between them)
My tarah pro is going out on me 😢 the right ear bud lost sound today while in the gym. Now I’m looking to buy new Jaybirds but I’m no so sure about these vista 2s
I really want to buy these, but I’m spooked after reading the Amazon reviews. Seams every other one was about connectivity issues. Any word on if they have addressed these issues?
Mine are still working great. I did a factory reset because the case was losing battery quickly and that fixed it. I also have Apple AirPods and I would take the Jaybird any day over them for fit and wireless charging and sound quality and durability.
You know what's interesting? Ive also experiences that high pitch screeching. If my husband calls me using his vista 2s while in the office, I will hear the screeching on the other end. We think it comes from ID card scanners.
I bought the vista 2’s in 2021 and I love them I still use them they work like new but the case broke luckily they had a magnetic close they still charge and could last me 4 days without having to charge them I hope them come out with new ones or headphones would like to see something from this company!!❤
I have had so many problems with these earbuds after only a week of use. Constant charging problems in the case and connection problems. It also is not nearly as sweat proof as they advertise, after just an hour of cycling one earbud at random will have its volume cut by 70% and has to spend the rest of the day drying out before it works properly again. I wanted to love these earbuds, the fit is the best of any I've ever tried and the audio quality is great. But there are just way to many problems for me. Hopefully these issues are fixed in the Vista 3s
"It also is not nearly as sweat proof as they advertise, after just an hour of cycling one earbud at random will have its volume cut by 70% and has to spend the rest of the day drying out before it works properly again." I have similar problems with my Jaybird Tarah Pro. Was thinking about upgrading to the Vista 2's but maybe that won't fix my problems
@@tobiasTbager I would definitely hold off. I gave them another try yesterday and had the issue occur on both buds on a 2 hour ride. Really wasn't sweating that much either. I'm gonna return these and get the Sony LinkBuds because I would like something with an open back design. I'll let you know how that goes. I bought my dad the old AfterShokz Aeropex that have now rebranded to Shokz Openrun. Those are great and very consistent if you're fine with audio quality drop from using bone conduction. He's never had any issues with volume when he sweats
@@kylewolfe_ I’ve really been tempted to purchase these as I’ve been looking to give my AirPod Pro a break from my sweaty CrossFit workouts, but I keep seeing reviews and comments about the many issues they have. I’m still very curious about them though and want a pair. If you have an iPhone, I would recommend the AirPod Pro as they have been phenomenal for me. Otherwise, I hope you find the headphones you’re looking for!
@@gabrielalvarez9786 I have an Android so I skipped researching airpods. So far the Sony LinkBuds have been fantastic. My first day getting them I cycled 100 miles with them and they worked fantastically. The fit is a little tricky and takes some time to try out different wing tips. My left ear is a little funky so I still haven't found the perfect size but I can get it to stay in fine. Didn't fall out even when I was riding on bumpy gravel roads. I really like that I can hear what's going on around me without needing to use a digital passthrough.
Well I just ordered a pair and after reading your comments wished I hadn't..I use them for long gravel rides and if they start disconnecting or not pairing ,I'll be sending them back..Thats the main reason I hate the Soundcores, never pairing during a ride..The absolute BEST are still Airpods but they do fall out and losing them on rides is a problem..Theyve fallen about many times but always finding them, thankfully.
This review is spot on and, unfortunately, still relevant. My Tarah Pro's, which I love, started acting up after two years, and I thought they were dead, so I ordered the Vista 2, primarily for running and workouts. I agree the app and sound are fabulous. The case still does not hold a charge well. I find the comfort and fit to be iffy. Mostly it's an issue with the little wing that does such a great job keeping them in place. In one ear, it's fine with the medium tip. The other ear needs the large tip, for a secure fit, and the wing is just a bit too large, and can start to hurt after a while. Not a huge deal since I rarely run much more than an hour. My biggest gripe is the button controls. Activating the controls requires a very hard push, which makes double pushes difficult. Tapping to activate the hear though sound requires a very hard double tap. Both are somewhat uncomfortable. This is in contrast to my (now old) Jabra 75Ts, which do everything right, EXCEPT stay in place when I workout. Fortunately my Tarah Pros came back to life. The sound isn't as good, but they are super comfortable and last a long time on a charge.
@@ClintGibbs - A little update. I threw the buds back on the charger, even though they had been charged and barely used just a couple days ago. After a full charge, I was able to do the Factory/Case reset described in the manual. We'll see how things go after that.
I do share the same gripes with the case and it's battery capacity in general. I can't say I've run into the interference issues as you describe. I usually only use one at a time but occasionally I'll use both and will have some intermittent cutouts when doing something.
Hi, I've been using these earpods but recently the right earphone makes strange noises and hissing and when I receive a phone call I can't hear them and they can't hear me, to at least eliminate the internal noise I have to tap on the earpiece with my fingertips. How can I solve this problem? Thank you
@@ClintGibbs thank you for the answer, I did the factory reset follwing the steps on Jaybird website, but the noise and hissing is still there, to stop the noise i had to tap many times with my finger...
Have you tried to leave the earbuds out of the case if you don't want to use them. I feel like the earbuds lose charge and keep siphoning the charge little by little. Seems silly and will probably make people end up loosing them, but maybe worth a shot if it's important.
I've lost one of my Vista 1s and then bought the Vista 2s. With the Vista1 if I put the earphones in the case they would turn off and disconnect. The Vista 2 automatically connects from inside the case and sound would go to them in the case. Anybody had this problem? How to fix?
Only problem I have is that when I switch apps sometimes I have to play and pause them or reconnect them otherwise I get no audio. Strange but if I kill my app before switching to another one it seems to not be a major issue.
I bought the Soundcore's you recommended a few years. ago.I do like the sound but they are bulky, including the case!..it takes up way too much room in a tight fitting jersey..How are these case-wise?..Are the JayBirds less bulky then the Soundcore Liberty 2's?
Yes, the jaybirds are less bulky and the case is smaller. But the Soundcore are still the best sounding wireless earbuds I’ve ever used. Although the jaybird or not too far behind.
I get that they give you pleasure and I'm glad for you. However, personally whether I'm road cycling with a 44 tonne Eddie Stowbart artic thundering up behind me, I want to know how close and fast it's approaching. Offroad, I want to heat birdsong and natural sounds not necessarily from 20/1st century. Hey, each to their own. Enjoy them Clint!
I want to like these. But... I get a ton of issues with the interference. It makes it unworkable. Also, I've had a lot of connectivity issues. Sometimes I have to restart the device (phone). Other times, the Jaybird app won't "connect." This happens even when they are clearly connected and I'm even listening to audio so they are connected but the app doesn't see them. Fit seems great and they are durable as far as I can tell. They really stay in my ears. Overall, I would not purchase again due to the connection issues and interference. I would try asking for a replacement pair but these two problems are so widely reported, I do not think another pair would be solve the issues. I've also had trouble switching connection between laptop and phone. Instead of switching, they sometimes get stuck in a loop of "connected, not connected, connected, etc." until I turn bluetooth off on one of the devices.
Thanks for the feedback. Fortunately the only interference I get is inside my office. But when it happens it’s loud! Hopefully they will put out Vista 3 and solve these issues. I agree, the fit and durability are excellent.
