Great example of how to do a DYI RUclips video.
No stupid gimmick crap to watch, just straight forward info.
I think a 5 on the install. I also think the cover plate should be included with the mount to give it a finished look. I will be ordering one soon, it looks great.
Imo they should include the cover plate. Without just looks unfinished. Especially for the price. $200+ is a bit pricey

Just about everything is over priced at tacoma beast. I bought a different one from a different supplier it didn't have the power plug on it and it sits flush on the top. I got the plate and 2 phone mounts and a GPS mount for about 200.00 dollars. I like it it holds my phone perfectly.

Ive had the 3TPAM sitting on my counter for a few weeks... after seeing the video im ready to do the install. Great job as always. I agree with a 5 for the instal difficulty level.
I shouldn't have said 5 until I started the install myself lol .... the two bracket screws in the back are a bitch to line up. Oh and the bracket on the right side sat to hight and i had to bore out the mounting hole just a tad so the radio frame would clip back in place. all in all its defiantly worth it and a fairly straight forward mod to instal. And again great video keep them coming!
Looks dope, cover plate should've be included for the first price. Without it, it doesn't look finished.
I'm with the others in that the back cover should come with it. 8 out of a 10 on the install. PS. very much enjoy your videos. Keep them coming!

Excellent video!!! Installed mine with a buddy no problem that’s to your video. We had to modify things a bit due to the fact that the cigarette lighter cable was super short not allowing us much to work with.
Outstanding video, best I've seen for this type of install. I'm definitely going with this product as, while a bit on the pricy side, it seems to offer the best mounting solutions for our needs. Thanks again!

Good video but man you were driving me crazy with the drilling. Surprised you didn’t ruin a hole. You definitely need to use a drill bit that’s 4-6x smaller then use the correct bit to avoid messing up.

Thanks for another good vid. Consider a center punch for marking holes instead of wiggling a screwdriver in the hole. Or even a sharpie

Dude, That is the biggest ratchet I’ve ever seen used to remove a 10mm bolt. 😂 If your plan is to work on and mod your own vehicle you should invest some $ in the right tools. Like the video though. That mount seems priced a bit high to me for what it is. It does look good. Great job.

Do you recommend any specific mounts? I need a mount for my iPhone and one for my iPad. But I’m not sure where to look for the accessory mounts themselves to attach to this.
We have some options available on our website for iPhone mounts, as far as IPad I believe they sell adaptable ones online 🤙

I would agree with your estimate 5-6. With apple car play you wouldn't need the phone in your way as well for the price the backing plate should be include imho.

those mounts stick out too far i use a magnet mount the phone sits in the space in the bezel perfect for me those mounts are $5 on amazon

2/10 on the difficulty of the install. Then again, I build motors and develop software.
