  • This organic chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into drawing the chair conformation of cyclohexane and identifying the most stable conformation of Methylcyclohexane and 1-tert-butyl-4-methylcyclohexane.     I think the equatorial position should be parallel to the C -C bond either to the right or left. I have noticed that you have made some mistakes in drawing the correct structure. Otherwise, you the best tutor that I would always like your videos that simplifies everything. thank you very much.

    At 16:20, when you're doing a chair flip from form B to form A, you said that you move the carbons in a couterclockwise direction, but is it necessary to reverse the direction of the carbons, or just move them back one place? By the way, your videos are amazing, and I use them for practically every subject in school! Thank you so much!
