Hi Tanya....Awesome! I'm so glad you were inspired. I think it's cool that you have penpals. I tried that years ago when I was a hundred years younger lol but it didn't last long. The other party didn't write back much and it fizzled out. I hope you make some and enjoy it. :-) Thanks for watching. :-)

Hi Ann :-) Thank you. I'm glad you like them. :-) I love brown bags too. You might really like the video coming up next week if you love paper bags so be on the look out for it. :-) I had about 30 large paper bags I was going to get rid of but I couldn't stand the thought of it. I just love the feel of them and the color so I made myself use them and in the next video I show you what I did. I love laces and trims too. :-) Thanks so much for watching. :-)
I'm thinking in 6 word thoughts.....where do you want to go?... what do you want to be? ...how do you want to live? ....this is your moment to shine.... time spent with friends is joyful...congratulations on a job well done...and thinking how suitable these dear little creations will be for gifts for special occasions...lovely planning!!!

I'm glad to hear you are doing more in your art journal and it has helped. I wish I had known about art journaling when I lost my mom. You take care and keep doing positive things. :-)
Thank you! I will do my best. I wish I had known about art journaling when I was younger. I knew I was attracted to pretty papers but I didn't know what to do with them. I'm sorry about your Mom, I lost mine too in 2009. I live where she lived and also where she passed away. So I think about her daily. :)

Hi Mitzi. I'm glad you found me. Welcome to my channel. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. :-) Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. :-)
since you are gluing the edges and openings closed, I am thinking that sewing the bags in different coloured thread would add interest to the bag - must try that idea :)
Thanks so much Jan. Awesome..I'm so glad you will be making some. If you have a ton of stuff to use up you will love the video coming up next week. lol Thanks so much for watching. :-)
That's great Kelly. I'm glad you found bags you liked using. I hope you had fun making it. :-) I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. :-)

Yes, you can customize them for anything. :-) I was thinking of making one for my friend with photos of our childhood. :-) I'm so glad you are inspired....that makes me happy. These little bags are really cute. I want to make one of these for a friend who is very ill. I think she will really like it. Where do you get the little jokes? She would love them and they would brighten her day. You are so much fun to listen to, light hearted and clever. Your ideas always resonate with me.
Hi Linda :-) That's so sweet of you to make one for your friend. I am sure she will love it and I wish her the best in her health recovery. I got those little cards at Hobby Lobby a long time ago. Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoy my videos. :-)
Hi Connie :-) Thank you very much. I do plan to do the index card bag. Hopefully in a few weeks. I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching. :-)
Hi. I am new subscriber. I came over from Tina's channel, tellhimthanku. She shared her version of a Rag Tag Bag. I have some of those paper bags - I'm adding this to my list of things to try. I, especially, like the blue & green ribbons and fibers that you used in your 2nd one. TFS.
Hi Alicia :-) Welcome to my channel and thank you so much for subscribing, I appreciate it. Thanks for letting me know. I'll go check out Tina's bag. :-) I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it. :-)
Hi Lori, this video was so much fun to watch. I just love watching you play. That is just what I like to do. I'll See you in your next video. Thanks for sharing...Hugs and Blessings....Dar
hello sweet Laurie :) these rag tag bags are just amazing wow i adore them you inspire me to make few for my friends and myself ! thank you very much xoxo
Rag tag bag is a fun name, and I agree it's goofy to say it 3times, fast. 😃 I love this project, they are adorable little books. 💕 Oh cool!! (The one that each page is a letter of your name, I could do that with mine, too!)😃 Lol! Fun quotes in the other one. 😄 Those are beautiful fabrics, ooooooh! I love that burlap too!! Wow! Oh no!! I hope you are rested, and healed now! Ouch! And your best needle broken! 😧 phiew! Yup, still here. 😉 Yes, I did hear Baylee tap dancing, made me smile. 🐶💕 Lol! "Go-go gadget super speed" and that was a fun bow tying ceremony.. 😃🎀 Yeah! I'd love to see you create the index card one too. 😃 Giggles, fun bloopers, great photos. 💕❤️ Loved this video. ❤️👍🏻
I love the name too. :-) I don't remember what I was healing from now. lol I wasn't sure if anyone would get the "go go gadget". lol I'm so glad you like them. Thank you Phoebe. :-)
Hi Stephanie. No, not always. It just depends on what I am making and what I think looks best. It also depends on my laziness and if I feel like changing the thread on the machine. :-) Sometimes I just use what is in the machine. On the Posies and Pockets video I used up all kinds of colors. When I ran out of bobbin I just switched to the next one no matter the color. So anything goes in my book as long as you like it. :-) Thanks so much for watching. :-)
Thank you very much. I am so glad you liked it. :-) Yes, it is possible and I used to do that quite a bit in my earlier days of videoing. The only problem is that editing takes so much longer than actual filming. I may go back to doing that occasionally when I video something that has a lot of info or talking though. Thanks so much for watching and taking time to leave a note. I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful day. :-)
I love this project , it's full of creative tips. ~ As an aside, I notice a high pitch e - sound in the background that is constant & distracting. 🙄 ~ I notice that it's absent when you do your voice overs. What could it be ? In order to watch your videos, I have to use volume & distance, it's impossible to use my earphones.. maybe the mike is too close to an electric source & it's picking up feedback ? 🎋☘️🌿🌸 ~ Thanks for the gorgeous process / videos.
Thank you Barbara. I listened to the video again and did not hear what you are talking about. No one else has mentioned it either. I don't use a microphone. My camera records the sound as I film. I don't have any electronic equipment near me while filming other than the camera which is on a tripod high above me. I edit my videos with headphones on and didn't hear it so I have no idea what it is. I will listen for it the next time I film. Thank you for watching. :-)
These rag tag bags are awesome! You come up with awesome creations. Hope you will do the index bag tutorial. Love to see what you create . (the juice drink is awesome can't put it down!)Tyfs.😊
Hey Vickie :-) Thank you! I'm so glad you like them. I will be doing the index card bag in a few weeks as soon as other stuff clears my schedule. :-) Oh awesome...I'm glad you like the juice. I made some fresh yesterday and it was so good. Thanks so much. :-)
Hi Nedra. In this particular book I glued down my tags so while they can be removed you risk tearing them. I suppose if you are super careful they can be removed. But, if you would like to make your book so that the tags can be removed just don't glue them in the same way I did. Use just a small amount of glue to hold them in place so they can be easily removed (I used a lot of glue and tape) or make your book with a small pocket on each page to hold your tags so they just slide in and out. I have plans to make one like that but I'm not sure when the video will go up but that's another option. :-)
great idea to use up paper bags! this project of your has inspired me for some pen pal projects. thanks for sharing! 😍😍⚘⚘⚘
Hi Tanya....Awesome! I'm so glad you were inspired. I think it's cool that you have penpals. I tried that years ago when I was a hundred years younger lol but it didn't last long. I love the name too. :-) I don't remember what I was healing from now. lol I wasn't sure if anyone would get the "go go gadget". lol I'm so glad you like them. Thank you Phoebe. :-)
Do you always use dark thread?
Hi Stephanie. No, not always. It just depends on what I am making and what I think looks best. It also depends on my laziness and if I feel like changing the thread on the machine. :-) Sometimes I just use what is in the machine. On the Posies and Pockets video I used up all kinds of colors. When I ran out of bobbin I just switched to the next one no matter the color. So anything goes in my book as long as you like it. :-) Thanks so much for watching. :-)
I really like this video. would it be possible to keep your next video in real time and divide it into multiple videos.

Where did you get so much creative imagination? I admire you!!!!!
That's very kind of you to say Victor. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. :-)
can someone remove the tags to use in there projects
