Been a viewer for a while now and just wanna say thanks for the awesome content! I've been using a Huion 950P for a few months now and really enjoy it, it's the first tablet I've owned, played around on a few Wacom's before but not for a prolonged period. I'm a designer rather than an illustrator but do design a lot of illustrative logos. It's sped up my illustrator and Photoshop work massively and I get way less stress in my hand doing intricate stuff for long periods. I would have probably ummed and ahhed a lot longer on buying something other than Wacom if it wasn't for your videos, but no regrets at all. Great to see unbiased reviews and an open mind to "non industry standard" tools!
Huion Kamvas Pro 22 is gigantic! I'm so amazed! I'm also planning to buy one and it will be my first monitor display tablet! I'm kinda anxious on it's size HAHHAHAHHA. Thanks for the review. It helps me a loooottt ^___^
Out of all the tech and digital art channels I've seen so far which is easily at least 30 to 40 yours is the best.
I'm excited to wait when Cintiq alternatives also release 16 and 24 inches tablet that uses bonded screen (that you can buy without breaking your bank).

I just recently got the MobileStudio pro13 and I am in love with it!!
This tablet is $1500 in CAD, and that's not too much cheaper than a Cintiq 16 Pro. Sure bigger work space.. But issues and whatnot makes me wonder if just a few months more of saving would just be way more worth it.
If its same price as cintiq 16, i believe they should just go cintiq.
Okay...i'm totally brand new to this. Set up the tablet, but i don't really know how to activate the pen. The tablet is mirroring what i have on the computer. i hover the pen, but nothing is happening. Do i have to activate the pen...or charge it before it can operate...how do i start?? i have a MAC and adobe products. My mouse works on it...but how do i activate the pen?
So, did you get it working? How'd it go, do you like it?.... And, please tell me its nothing like a Apple product. You about made me puke when you said "I have a Mac"...

On the Kamvas 22 Pro, Are the buttons and slide bar on both sides still mirrored on both sides?
I have a GT-221 Pro and I absolutely love it, but it's always bugged me that it has ten buttons and a slide bar that are virtually useless to me. It just feels like customizability was cut in half.
How bad is that wavy line problem? Does it exist on anything Wacom does? I have a 24HD at home for a couple of week and I love it, but I'm on the fence for this kamvas 22 Pro after that. Do you think these two compare?
Been watching our videos for a while and just subscribed! I was wondering if you could do a review on the gt191v2 that just came out? I'm really interested in getting a large tablet monitor and I don't neccessarily use the hot keys so it looks like a cool option!

Is there a big difference between the huion and the xp pen 22 E with the display color?
@@inella4053 supposedly on paper the Huion covers a larger percentage of the color gamut. However I have and see no issues with color on my display. If you look through the comments however, it looks like some of the Huion users do. If you're stuck between the two as to which one you wish to purchase, I personally believe the XP pen is the better buy.
I was so looking forward to this review - it's cemented. definitely investing in the XP pen. By almost all accounts it seems very nearly as good, and is significantly cheaper. I'll be sure to use your link, Brad!

Hi Brad! Thanks a lot for the review! Have u heard if there will be another release by XP-pen soon of their 22"? The only con I've heard about it is that the display are glossy and that you need to keep the screen protection on. Is this a problem for you of last year release?

It’s funny you always mention parallax because I always off calibrate the cursor so it’s above the tip to my pen so I can see it.

I have the older 8192 levels of pressure pen which needs to be charged once in awhile. I wonder how the new Huion pen doesn't require batteries. My iPad Pro's Apple Pencil needs to be charged too. [Edit] Nevermind should've Googled it sooner. It works through electromagnetic induction...whatever that means.
Does the heat concerns you. Mine heats up fast and its worries me. It works fine. But the heat is worrying.

I want to get this tablet! But I just draw casually and I don't use pressure sensitivity or buttons lol. Just GIMP layers, pen tool, eraser tool and paint bucket tool.
Have you never used pressure sensitivity? As someone who's been drawing for a little while I definitely recommend it.
I've never seen an artist who doesn't use pressure sensitivity, wtf
It's because I like being able to draw consistently thick lines. I just use pen tool to draw. Then paint bucket tool to color. And some layers so I don't have to erase so much.
@@Solaxe I draw super casually and amateurly. You can look at my channel to see my level of art. Despite that I still want to get an display tablet even I don't need one.
If you want to improve your art and get serious about it ( proceeding to draw regularly ) then invest in a screen tablet.
But if you just want to draw casually, a cheap pen tablet will do :)

I just got this monitor tablet, and I'm getting some weird ghosting/color bleeding with moving pictures, anybody have this problem?
Their website says this has an etched glass display. Does it feel similar to a Cintiq’s surface? I hate drawing on a glossy display like the Surface Pro or the iPad, but I’ve found matte protectors to have a little too much bite to them (and sometimes leaves behind impressions). The Cintiq’s seem to fall nicely in the middle with smooth silky texture.
I have a Cintinq 13 HD for couple of years now, and it's been a while I'm hesitating to buy a bigger size.
My choice is between this one and the Cintiq Pro 16.
I was wondering if next year, Huion will release a 4k pen display too cause unfortunatly I can't afford a cintiq pro 24

Hi Brad! Just recently discovered your channel in search of my first screen tablet. I'm currently having a hard time choosing between this and the XP-Pen Artist 22E Pro, and I had a couple of questions that I couldn't find the answer to in the video (sorry if I missed something):
- Do both of these tablets have anti-glare coating? I tried drawing on a MS Surface Pro in a store before and the glass is terrible to draw on. Would probably be a deciding factor if one of them is not a matte display. If they both have it, which one feels like it has less parallax to the pen?
- Regarding the calibration - on which of these tablets do you feel like the mouse cursor more accurately represents the position of the pen on-screen?
Would really appreciate if you or anyone who used these tablets could answer. Cheers!
Both have anti glare matt finishes. And my 22E Pro has little to no parallax. The cursor is very accurate.

Hey, question for you. Have you had issues trying to use a second monitor with the Huion Kamvas 22 Pro? When I have it on all displays I can't map the pen, and if I just select all display and select apply there is a large gap between pen and cursor on the screen. Have you had any issues like this?

Nope, it's not a touch screen, but the slider along the side is touch enabled.

hey i recently got a monitor for general use and gaming, however i always used a bamboo work tablet to draw (no screen) and i was thinking to buy one with a monitor too. Know looking they look all great, i heard you say you use this for a monitor too. does this work also with a GPU and watching videos, general use? thanks
hows the calibration? I got the KAMVAS GT-221 Pro 21.5 inch HD and noticed that no matter how exact I am with the calibration steps the cursor will always kinda stray a few pixels away from the pen tip near the bottom right of the screen for some reason. does this one still have that issue?
Would you please to test CHUWI H13 tablet and its H3 pen? It's a 13 inch with 3000x2000 resolution windows 10 tablet with only about $600. It seems very attractive to me. Love to see you test it.

Drivers are everything. I was a huion early adopter. And all this time they haven't fixed their drivers? No respect.
Always buy Wacom when you can. Going to the used market was an excellent choice for me. There is nothing like the Wacom drivers.
Hey is it guaranteed that you will have those driver problems on Mac? I just bought the tablet and I have Mac and I’m starting to panick.

@@rhajandre707 it was far better than i was expecting. If you are going to buy a new one, i ll recommend to go for 2k resolution. Returning to the tablet, it behaved great, i had a pen problem and Huion sent me 2 for free. I think somehow mine was faulty from day 1(just bad luck). If you want a good performance/dollar Huion is a great choice

Great! Just in, a friend of mine from Taiwan just told me that several 24-inch 2560x1440 graphics tablet prototypes has been around for testing lately (can't mention the company, but alas, it's not Huion though). Would be great if Huion finally broke out of the HD-only resolution.

It's not going to work because the old display needs a battery powered pen to activate the sensors under the screen.
