I had tingling feel in my forearm, in middle of upper arm, and finally where my shoulder joint connects w/ my thoracic / chest / ribs etc... Returned it today. Still got some numbing feel in my joint area on the arm i used to wear.
I’ve just bought a series 6 two days ago and I’m getting the same issues. Started with numbness, tingling and dull ache in my little finger and back of wrist/forearm. I work as a radiographer/MSK expert and I believe that my issues and indeed a lot of offer peoples issues is due to the new posture of the arm which is not natural. Elevating the arm to view the watch uses different muscles. The muscle in my elbow/forearm feels slightly swollen, which is causing compression on the ulnar nerve (funny bone nerve), which is causing the issue. Lots of people are going to end up with musculoskeletal problems from use of these devices. I’m returning mine tomorrow before I do long lasting damage.
@@DJHARN147 That is exactly what I was feeling when I got my watch 3 days ago. Just wanted to say thanks. I've had an Apple Watch 3 for about a year and had been getting really bad wrist pain recently (ache in wrist and pains up arm). Probably took about 6 months to develop. I am now wearing it further up my arm as you describe and it has had an immediate effect (now no pain at all). Apple really need to put out an advisory note on this. Thanks again!

Such a simple tip and so effective. Thank you for making the video in English. My wrist was killing me and your tip brought instant relief. Thanks again from California.
A lot of people are feeling discomfort in their arm because they’re sensitive to EMF radiation that comes from the Bluetooth and the cellular radiation. The solution to this is to turn it in on airplane mode when you don’t need the connection which would probably be most of the day. The Apple Watch will still work to tell time, Measure your heart rate track your fitness etc. You can still use a lot of the apps, you can also store music podcasts and audiobooks on it. And if you need to connect it you can turn it on for the period of time you need it connected to Bluetooth or cellular. A lot of people have the same problem with Fitbit except that Fitbit doesn’t have airplane mode and your body is experiencing EMF radiation 24/7 for as long as you wear it.

I have been using apple watch 3 for 6-7 months (on/off) and it took me a while to realise that watch is causing pain on my fingers (in my case between the knuckles). Initially pain was not too bad but lately it’s unbearable (difficulty holding the cup). I don’t think there is any justification to pain on how you wear it. Also not sure what kind of damage is done (other hand does not have pain and nowhere else)
Most likely it's Radial frequency burns. It's from the Bluetooth. You may have damage on a cellular level. Test the frequency of the unit. Everyone has different levels of tolerance, this is where the naysayers come in. I had to return mine after both wrists were burned, the marks were right where the light comes from on the pebble. It's supposed to be low frequency, but that's what they tell you. Test it. After 6 months of non use, and my right wrist is still a little tender in one spot. We are Guinea pigs in the testing of man merging with machine.
Hi, thanks for the advance. I have done what you have said. Let me see if it will help. Thanks so much. I also bought it recently and I was so excited too. It is also quite costly.
So, if you aren't tightening the watch band so it holds still, are you just constantly readjusting the Apple watch on your wrist? Maybe it's because the Galaxy watch is so much heavier, but I can't find a balance on tightness and the watch not just falling to my hand every time I put my arms at my side
Thanks for the video, i just bought the samsung galaxy watch and my arm is hurting... will not wear it all weekend to reset the feeling and give it ago Monday.. if not any better ill have to return it... just on having the pain indicates that its causing serious damage... ill most likely return it...
I wear it like this (maybe a bit tight tho) all the time and yet the problem occurred and leaded me here. It’s odd to me that this is only a problem for smartwatches. Maybe it’s the protruding sensor on the back, but maybe it’s the EMF that is effecting you in ways that are not yet scientifically backed.
I’ve been wearing my Apple watch 4 for about 7 months during the day on my left arm. I have never worn it above the wrist bone closer to my hand because my wrist is small and bony and I don’t wear it tight. I’ve always worn it on my wrist closer to my elbow. I’ve been having sharp pains inside my wrist below the watch head and in my forearm. It’s better when I take the watch off and worse when on, so I will probably leave it off for a couple weeks and hope it goes away completely. I’m worried about the radiation. Someone recommend that I try wearing it with airplane mode on so maybe I will try that after a couple weeks, but most likely I will end up selling it. Is anyone else concerned with the radiation?? I’m kind of freaked out.
When I first got my Apple Watch I wore every time I went out which was like everyday and it felt fine and comfortable for the longest. But then like 3 or 4 months past of every day use it started to irritate my skin. I found myself adjusting it multiple times during the day because of how the skin on in my wrist felt. So I figured my skin got irritated of everyday use so I stopped wearing it for like 2 and a half months in which I thought was plenty of time to heal but then when I try to wear it I get that same irritating feeling almost right away. And I did try wearing it how the video suggests and it didn’t help soooo I don’t know anymore.
Hell man i have 7 series stainless steel with 45mm of diameter i feel its too bulky to carry and get a pain in my wrist i always feel excited to wear but just an hour i can tolerate not kore than that.. awful😢
Thank you for the video. I had a "series 0" Apple Watch I wore for years, with no problems. Recently, I bought a series 7. I started getting pains in my arm and wrist. I tried different bands, different tightness, and even wearing it higher up (like you show). Nothing helps. I does NOT irritate the skin. The pain persists after I take it off and can take days to resolve. I just tried wearing it again today for a couple hours, and the pain is back. It's disappointing because it's very nice and too late to return.
I had tried this approach before watching your video but I started wearing it closer to my hand again. I am now trying wearing it like you advise again. The biggest problem for me was not pain so much but my issue was when ever my wrist would bend backwards during physical activity it would depress the crown button and summon Siri. So often it became very annoying. Also on several occasions the back of my hand would press both buttons and start an emergency call. One time I did not realize it and I had the police show up to my job site because my watch called 911 (U.S. emergency number). I am now wearing it above my wrist once again but unfortunately I have wrist bones that are further from my hand than most, I think. When I am wearing long sleeves it is very inconvenient because my shirt cuff extends about 5 inches beyond my watch. With loose sleeves this isn’t a problem but with tighter sleeves (like a thermal undershirt) it makes my watch inaccessible. Button sleeves on a dress shirt are absolutely out of the question.
Thank you so much! Just got this Apple watch for Christmas and was so bummed out when a few days later I had burning , shooting pain in my wrist going up my arm 😟 I was really concerned and thought something was wrong with me and that I was maybe having a bad reaction to the watch . I will try this and hope that it helps! 🤗
I noticed sharp pains In my wrist from wearing a Fitbit and had to return it in thinking maybe it’s from the waves from the smart watch I dunno it’s weird
Rob John whats uuuuuup! Yep I did realise the same thing, I thought that was something related to the sensors or something. But I started to using the watch like a mentioned on the video and the pain went away. I bought a Apple Watch S4 now and it is alright. Really awkward issue though. Thanks for your comment :)
I had to stop using a watch about 20 years ago because I had a wrist pain, now I'd like to buy an Apple Watch and I should know what to do now if the pain starts again! Thank you! I love your accent!
I have a Series 3 Stainless Steel 42mm which I hardly wore for years as a result of this pain. I recently (4 days ago) decided to try using the watch again and I had the same issue. After about 2 hours, the dull pain began in my wrist and then began to radiate up toward my elbow - it's a deep pain, it almost feels as though my bones are aching. I took it off and the pain began to subside soon after, as it always does. I must say, the pain has always made me feel like the watch is detrimental to my health, it just does not feel right. This may sound dramatic, but I kid you not, it feels as though radiation is seeping into my body and has always made me scared that the device may - God Forbid - cause cancer if I were to continue to use it. I'm sure that if you have been unfortunate enough to feel this pain, you understand what I mean. I then thought about using the watch in airplane mode to see if this made a difference. When I put it into airplane mode with WI-FI and Bluetooth off and wore it for 2 days straight, I felt no pain!. This leads me to think it may have something to do with EMF radiation or something else to do with connectivity, (WI-FI, Bluetooth, etc). I have now started to use my watch in this manner. I wear it to track my fitness throughout the day with no pain when it's in airplane mode WITH WI-FI and Bluetooth ALSO off. It isn't paired to my phone most of the day so I can't receive calls, send messages or use data however, I can still track my fitness, A couple of times a day, I turn on my Bluetooth for a couple of minutes to allow for the fitness information (activity rings, steps, workouts, etc) to sync with my phone. It's pretty much a Fitbit now but at least I get some use out of it; the main reason I want to use it these days is for fitness anyway. Over the years, I had read many comments regarding pain stating that it's the way the watch is worn and I knew this not to be the case for me as I had tried so many different brands, placements, and fittings. If anyone has this pain, try using it with ALL connectivity off and seeing how you feel. I had no issues with my Series 2 in the past. Having read a few forums it seems like the problem is most prevalent in my watch model however not exclusively. It appears it's an issue that people have found across different series. I think our watches may be faulty or maybe we are just hypersensitive to the connectivity being so close to our body for extended periods. I must say, I haven't tried different methods of connectivity on the watch such as just cellular, just WI-FI, just Bluetooth, or different combinations. As I no longer have a cellular data plan, I cannot test this however, I will be trying to play around with connectivity settings over the next few days to see if I can get more use out of the watch without pain. If not, I'll just stick to having a Fitbit Apple Watch!
@Julio Rowel Hiya. I no longer have an pain as I don’t use the connectivity while it’s on my wrist. Unfortunately, I don’t have a data plan on the watch at preset so I can’t comment on using just cellular connectivity.

I will try it but its not a good solution. People pays a lot of money for those rubish smartwatches and get a strong wrist pain. Its not a wrist prb is a watch problem, those companies should fix the watch problem to dont harm the peoples wrists :/
Thank you for choosing the English and I am also facing the same issue from last week so will try to wear as your describe then will share my experience with you soon
I am on my 5th Apple Watch, sleep with them, and just remove it to take a bath.. No issues. Your iPhone or cellphone emits more radiation (5g, bigger battery etc..) than a watch if you are worried about something that can emits radiation, your cellphone is near your d*k on the most of your day, that you should be worried if you want to go this path.. 😂 Do you think that USA health department that controls even coke, is going to let something that is dangerous?
I have the apple watch for 5 days now. I have same experience like you, couldn't find any you tube video about apple watch wrist pain. Thanks a lot for your video. I will try it, hopefully it works for me cause I love apple watch and don't want to return it.

There is either Radial frequency cellular damage or nickel in the material. Either way, you may have to return the unit if you are still experiencing problems. It seems to be a problem with fitbit as well. Got a bad feeling it's the first one. The fitbit Blaze burned me. Seems to be a tech issue across companies. Someone was saying the same thing about Garmin. Until it doesn't harm us, we need to steer clear. Right now, we are Guinea pigs for the testing of man merging with machine.
I tried a 44 mm Apple Watch it was just too heavy for my wrist and the convex underside just put too much pressure on my wrist..painful! What helped me was going to a 40mm it’s much more comfortable... BTW recently watched a review and he said he could not wear the 44 mm to bed because it was too heavy..my experience exactly..
I’m trying it on the other wrist now. I was wearing the way you suggested and it was painful. I’ll check out your channel because I do speak Portuguese.
scott vance whats uuuuuup Hey, I just bought the series 4 and I felt this same thing on the first 2 days, but as I was using Long sleeved shirts the Apple Watch was not on the ideal place. Last couple of days I used on the position that I mentioned and it is just ok now. Maybe it’s because we are not used with the new shape of the back of this new watch and it takes sometime for our body get used with it. This issue is really awkward though
Having things on the wrist is actually unhealthy if you think about it, the blood flow is decreasing even slightly and you can tell that the wrist area is pretty sensitive.
I took mines off n gave my Apple Watch to my mom n I have the versa they both doing the same way I think these watches has toooo much radiation be careful Yaris really uncomfortable and painful sometimes I can feel it still even tho I stopped wear them smh
There are 7 generations of Apple Watches where millions of people are using it around the globe without any medical problem reported. Your iPhone generates more radiation than a microwave and you are afraid of the watch but probably sleeps beside your iPhone... lol Hello nonsense

It's the heart rate monitor! They should make these watches with the option of completely turning the feature off. On the watch and the app.

Thanks so much for this really simple solution! :) It worked for me almost immediately, I’m so happy that I don’t have to return my watch!
I'm going to try wearing the iWAtch as You suggest. However, how long did the wrist pain last?
Is it only for Apple watch or for all the smart watches?
I’ve heard that other brands do the same
Obrigado. 🎉😂❤
Thank you - this did actually work, I had tingling and throbbing on the back of the palm
Happy to help!!
I only got my Apple Watch today and within 4hrs my arm/wrist/hand ache and tingle like mad!!!
This really sucks…
Did this Video help ?
Thanks for taking the time to do this video. It's a big help. Hello from Canada
So, if you aren't tightening the watch band so it holds still, are you just constantly readjusting the Apple watch on your wrist? Maybe it's because the Galaxy watch is so much heavier, but I can't find a balance on tightness and the watch not just falling to my hand every time I put my arms at my side
Thank you! This worked immediately. Been wearing it this way for weeks now...
Feel the same in my upper arm thought it was all in my head smh now I see I ain’t crazy
Yes! You should be concerned about the Radio Frequency RF Signal! Watch a video about it. Dangerous.
Im wearing mine on airplane mode
I can’t return mine anymore😢
Hell man i have 7 series stainless steel with 45mm of diameter i feel its too bulky to carry and get a pain in my wrist i always feel excited to wear but just an hour i can tolerate not kore than that.. awful😢
I tied loose but it's uncomfortable
thank you , I was having that issue
Rebecca Sanchez- Salinas hope that worked for you 😄
Thank you for the video.
Thank you for this video.. just got the 6 series for Christmas and I was so disappointed.
Thanks solved my problem
This is great to hear !
Hope it helped 😂
I am on my 3rd Apple Watch and no problems anymore.
Thank you woo much
Thanks. It worked straight away
Batech ima give this watch a try I see a lot of good reviews on it!
This is how I have been wearing it but that stupid sensor still is painful and irritating. 😶
Bless you for making this video. I couldn’t find any information on this before your video!
Unfortunately, I don’t have a data plan on the watch at preset so I can’t comment on using just cellular connectivity.
well done! --- very useful indeed!... and thanks for the english too!
Been wearing Apple Watch for years since the 1st edition, never had that.
You're lucky.
Aimee Inkling Really why? What happened with you?
Yeah RF is something to look at it people don’t know about this topic. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have the highest RF exposure ever on a smartphone
Trump 2020 it goes the same.the strongest one is
This
From strongest to low
#1 Mobile data
#2 Bluetooth
#3 WiFi
Remember all are bad because they are sending RADIATION when they are ON.
Trump 2020 lest say you are using WIFI make sure to turn off Bluetooth and mobile data so you don’t get double wamming from the other antennas.
How many people really NEED a mini phone on their wrist... Is it necessary or just trendy...and then more importantly...is it Safe?!?
thank you for the video in english!
Will give this a try, thanks man.
I feel the same way I’m actually doing research on it I have the Apple Watch Series 5 and I have the same pain but it’s my whole forearm and it’s from radiation supposedly🤷🏾♂️
Deedee not likely it may just be the physical forces. The apple watch emits les EMF’s than your phone.
Is your arms still hurting. I’m having the same feelings. My doctor said it’s electric currents.
i am a nurse.. i bought mine last yr sept 2018... in my duty i hang it on my pocket near my breast because as a nurse i always wash my hands everytime i touched hospital thingy & patient care.. after 3 wks i noticed my breast had pimple then went bigger everyday, 1 day pimple on my breast popped out and pus came out... thank GOD i did wound culture and result was normal... but i missed my mammogram appointment.. now i dont wear it on my scrub shirt.. and now for 2 wks again if i am going to bath or clean my patient i am putting to my pocket but this time on my leg scrub pants ... and now i noticed i have small green hematoma like appearance.. but subsiding now... i dont know if these were all coincidences or from my iwatch coz sometimes it will automatically on the laser light from the back of my iwatch that detects my heart rate count... now i am just wearing it for my exercises purposes...
The radiation from it can you give you cancer.
Thank you so much this really helped me I thought there was something wrong with me! I’m from the 🇺🇸
samsung also fucked up. . i have serval paint on my left wrist damn it. i spent a lot of money with this shit . Samsung galaxy watch active
That’s sucks.... =(
Have you tried moving its position on your wrist as a suggested on the video ?
I will try it but its not a good solution. People pays a lot of money for those rubish smartwatches and get a strong wrist pain. Its not a wrist prb is a watch problem, those companies should fix the watch problem to dont harm the peoples wrists :/
TheNorthBoy TV totally agree !!!!
There's also the increased risk of cancer that most people are not talking about.
Thank you for choosing the English and I am also facing the same issue from last week so will try to wear as your describe then will share my experience with you soon
This works man... Thank you :)
Thank you
😄
I honestly think there might be an issue with radiation, I am getting worried..
😂
Do you think that USA health department that controls even coke, is going to let something that is dangerous?
@@BatechYT the USA health deparment ain't such a big deal ;)
I have the apple watch for 5 days now. I have same experience like you, couldn't find any you tube video about apple watch wrist pain. Thanks a lot for your video. I will try it, hopefully it works for me cause I love apple watch and don't want to return it.
Charles Walser hey thanks for your comment.
Try using it like this as far as you can from your hand, and make sure that it strap is not too tight or too loose.
Hope it works for you! I let the link for the site that I got this tip on the description if you wanna look better.
Thanks again for the comment 😄
Charles Walser and don’t forget to share this video with other Apple Watch friends that may be experiencing the same.
Doesn’t work for me. Apple Watch 2 had no problems. Whereas Apple Watch 4 LTE gives me extreme wrist fatigue and pain.
scott vance whats uuuuuup
Hey, I just bought the series 4 and I felt this same thing on the first 2 days, but as I was using Long sleeved shirts the Apple Watch was not on the ideal place. Last couple of days I used on the position that I mentioned and it is just ok now.
Maybe it’s because we are not used with the new shape of the back of this new watch and it takes sometime for our body get used with it.
This issue is really awkward though
Omg, really ? Thanks for your video.
Helio Donizeti Batista HHaha no problem !
RIP headphone users. That intro music is like a shock to the brain. I had to yank my headphones off. I’m deaf now.
Having things on the wrist is actually unhealthy if you think about it, the blood flow is decreasing even slightly and you can tell that the wrist area is pretty sensitive.
Thank you so much!
I will try this!
Thanks
Top, valeu pela dica
Drive-thru BR estamos juntos !
Que nice!!!!! 👏👏 very proud of you
I took mines off n gave my Apple Watch to my mom n I have the versa they both doing the same way I think these watches has toooo much radiation be careful Yaris really uncomfortable and painful sometimes I can feel it still even tho I stopped wear them smh
There are 7 generations of Apple Watches where millions of people are using it around the globe without any medical problem reported.
Your iPhone generates more radiation than a microwave and you are afraid of the watch but probably sleeps beside your iPhone... lol
Hello nonsense
Thank you!
Please make it Hindi or scribe in hindi
I feel your pain
Thank You!!
Thank you :D
Ohhh ❤️
I’m facing this issue now ans I am gonna sell my watch. This radiation is not good.
Loads of radiation I’ve had the series 6 for 1 day and I can feel the radiation ☢️ don’t need that in my life
Cool!
Lucas Rocha thanks man !
Doesn’t work if your arms aren’t skinny sticks
Sad =(
Just keep the Bluetooth & WiFi off... Or keep the watch on airplane mode
But what is the point of having an Apple Watch?
LOL
I've been seeing this advice all day. I've been experiencing a great deal of pain and I'm going to try this out.
Tell me if it works for you =)
Thanks it worked!
