@@danyoungy I’ve done worse, was trying to get to some whiting in like a foot of water, hit spot lock and jumped out, sunk hip deep in mud, then the minny got tangled and let go, so I was off for a swim with all my gear 😂

Gidday Dan, bit of bad luck with the fish and that spot looked so good. I go out and camp out a bit but that is usually the signal for the heavens to open up. The bad trips test you but you really remember the good trips. Cheers, I still enjoyed it.

@@danyoungy depends on your budget. I'd start at the UHD2 series and go from there. But if your budget is smaller I'd go the Striker series also. Lowrance build to a very low price
@@danyoungy also get yourself a king's jump starter. Small, cheap stays charges for a few months. Will start your boat if you get stuck but also it will easily charge your phone. Comes in a little carry case. I have one in the car and the boat.

Love the videos, I use navionics on my iPhone it’s great, shows so much detail, channels, markers, tracks trips etc essentially a gps on your phone
