Learn to find the missing angles for a triangle using inverse trig functions
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 23 мар 2014
- 👉 Learn how to find a missing angle of a right triangle. A right triangle is a triangle that has 90 degrees as one of its angles. The trigonometric identities of right triangles gives us the relationship between the angles of a right triangle and the side lengths of the right triangle. These trigonometric identities, commonly called SOHCAHTOA, are: sin x = opposite / hypothenuse; cos x = adjacent / hypothenuse and tan x = opposite / adjacent. These identities enables us to find a missing angle of a right triangle given the required side lengths.

If you have ears to hear, hear and understand you are probably one of GODS lost sheep that needs to be found there is this hole in your heart and you tried many times and many things and many ways to fill it and still are but it’s not working and it keeps getting bigger and bigger you would be around multiple people and still feel lonely and work so hard to take those bad thoughts away etc but let me tell you JESUS is the one who can fill that whole in your heart JESUS is that missing piece you’ve been looking for, that peace that’s never ending that true love and joy and happiness it’s in JESUS not of this world but of the kingdom of heaven and if you want to accept him in your heart all you have to do is believe in the gospel A-admit that you’re a sinner and that you need forgiveness, B-Believe that JESUS CHRIST died for your sins and rose again, and C-Confess your faith in JESUS CHRIST and his lordship over your life and you will be saved and this amazing feeling is not a drug it won’t last a couple hours but forever eternally bc it is not of this world but of GOD who sits on the throne of heaven forever and ever HALLELUJAH

I like him better than mine because he takes more time to explain why you need to do something so you can remember it easier, and he doesn't blame you for not knowing how to do something on the first day of learning it.
I was taught right angle trigonometry for the 1st time in my high school electronics class early 1970s. My teacher was fantastic. Never forgot the concepts he taught.
We had to look up the trig functions using tables or if I remember correctly could be found on a slide rule.
No calculators to rely on in those days kids.

The calculator can't get a precise answer, it does an approximation and then maybe some guesswork to get a more precise answer. How exactly it does it depends on the calculator.

I'm a contract plasterer and unregistered
Builder. I have built free standing concrete steps which also have the base matching the pattern of the steps opposed to having a flat base. This required some engineering to make sure there is no failure such as the right steel and a deep enough throat from the minimum point. Some of the work I carried out was building pergolas with angle pitch.
I have drawn up plans for one client who kept changing is mind. I have a program called 2 d cad which works well the only thing I want to work out the formula if determining an angle and distance of a pitch.
I can look up blockpave which gives me rise, angle and pitch.
I want to work this formula out for myself. This brings me here.
At the moment I have opened a spread sheet also librecad which is quite an old lynex gnome operating system. I got my son to load this software when I bought a computer ex Government from my son. I have apple computers and since this one was Microsoft I didn't want that.
I'm happy using this computer and the 2d cad is quite good. On the angles the librecad only works to 4 decimal places although you can zoom to .0001 mm and even more. Also you can expand or zoom out to 1,000,000 and more millimetre. Although it slows down.
My point is when you use a datum say for instance have a one metre run then write down angles from one degree and up. Then record all equations onto a spread sheet. You can then write on a spread sheet 2 metre and multiple the results of the one metre by two. It may vary according to the accuracy of the programming which limits angle. So for instance instead of one reading 3.0965 the other will read 3.0964. Which is very minute and in construction no one is going to measure .5 of a millimetre.
So my question is let's say I know the base measurement to be 3.5 metre and the opposite is 600 mm. How do I then work out hypotenuse and the angle?
Footnote I'm writing another chart of 1 metre long and increments of 10mm rise. I then could write other dimensions say 2 metre. For 2 metre the rise will be double that of one metre. For instance 1 metre run with a 10mm rise the angle would be 1004.9876 the degree will be 5.7106. If you then get a 2 metre run the rise will be 20 mm over all so the length theoretically should be double and the pitch should be the same.
What I try to teach my daughter and asking her to ask her maths teacher to put lessons into practicality. We talk about construction and then there will be meaning. The schools curriculum is set out by Government and they dictate to teachers what they should be teaching. This applies also to the builders registration board. You copy word for word what the lecturer writes down in the board then copy. You become mechanised and like a computer and not have the ability to think for yourself.
So I guess teachers can give a little of their own personal offering outside a curriculum.
If you don't understand why sin ^-1 is the inverse on sin, well
say you have sin x 8 = 96. you know that the sine is multipied. If it was addition, then moving it to the other side would be -sin. But this is multiplication. when you divide something, for example dividing by 5, you basically mulitply by 1/5. Same here. If you are diving both sides by sin then it would become 1/sin. Now you convert. If you have learnt negative powers, ^-1 means dividing that number by 1. Thus, the reverse of sin is sin^-1
In India we do it without calculator
how? do you have a formula? please share? I really need to know this
thanks
