Oh my gosh! I literally could cry that you posted this video. I just went back to school after being gone for 15 years. I'm doing PreCal this winter and my teacher is just straight reading from our book and I have been so confused. You put it into such simple terms, I actually feel like I can do this and succeed. I literally started learning inverse trig the day you posted this and man am I thankful! Been watching your videos for a few months now preparing for PreCal!
This man be teaching me more than my prof, I've understood better here than sitting in my 1hr and 45 min class. Hope your pillow is cold all the time, thank you!
I was actually in the middle of using one of your older videos for help on math when you uploaded this, thanks so much your a big help to a lot of people!
I don't know how to tell you this, but you have helped me through so many problems and questions throughout my highschool years, and I just wanted to say thank you. I appreciate all the work you put into your channel and want to cheer you on to keep going and continue helping others. Stay safe and God Bless!
Thank you so much for making this video, I've been struggling through online school and lost understanding of the material, this helped me get back on track. Please, keep it up!
you ever think about going postsecondary, brother? btw, it is SO much easier to lecture when there aren't students in the room and to have them message their questions. unfortunately, the institutions (secondary) I taught at would never allow me to record during lecture. I tried the 'processing minute' approach, which they could write a question and present it (usually all questions answered after about three questions), seemed to work with some, good for differentiation for diverse learning styles/modes. ahhh...thanks, Brian; brushing up the calc I & II for ochem so this old hs math teacher can get to medical school and change careers
-pi/2 on a unit circle occupies the same space as 3pi/2 bc when you go backwards (negative numbers) after your first quarter of a rotation you hit -pi/2. this is bc when we restrict sin(x) domain we are looking at the piece of the graph that intersects the origin and spans from -pi/2 to +pi/2 (range is -1 to +1)
Your videos are so good that if I ever have kids I'm gonna make sure they watch you.
Hows your progress with that lol 😆
@@Luxxy141 🤣🤣
I'm not sure if I'm stupid or just really dense because after watching, I still don't get it.
No yeah I get that, this guy is great and all, but like he's kinda just talking real fast and im just staring into his soul thinking wtf am i doing.
its both

right there with you ! dont worry you are not alone!
Please don’t stop doing these. They help so much. I’m really struggling in my math class and your videos have helped me so much. Thank you
So happy to help!!

I'm so jealous of your students. They get a teacher like you while I don't. May God give teachers like you to all students for ALL generations!
Happy to be there for you!!
@@brianmclogan Thanks!
Amazing video. Just one correction: tan(0) = -sqrt3/3 rather than -sqrt3/2. Thanks for helping me learn this intuitively though.
I was actually in the middle of using one of your older videos for help on math when you uploaded this, thanks so much your a big help to a lot of people!
Mad lad has helped me through the years
Thanks man my professor just gave us a book that he wrote and does no teaching thanks for the explanations !!! Best teacher !
This is beautiful, it's enough to make a grown man cry.
So happy to help!!

Thank you for posting this! It really helps when I can see a teacher do it out on the board. I really appreciate you :)

best math teacher
😍😍😍
Love from india ❤️❤️
At this point you're basically my vital math teacher lol
Yes!!
Very good video. Well explained. New suscriber. I totally understood.
so basically you have to remember the unit circle
life saver fr
Love from India
4:40 why is it tangent -root3/2 and not -root3/3
Also confused by this
Same . Is it a mistake or did he do some sort of conversion??
hello sir you are best
Please do some calculus
Ladies and gentleman, he did it again! 😎🤓
Why did we go from root 3 over 3 to root 3 over 2?
it's a typo maybe
How can we determine the restrictions for the rest of the trigonometric functions? Such as csc and cot
This was really helpful thanks a bunch!
thanks so much for this i was getting so frustrated
You're welcome!!
Bro is hard carrying me through trig right now
What happens if you have tan [arccos(1/8)]
Love you
虾子好激动啊讲个数学
ahaysz nice thankz you
Is -pi/2 and 3pi/2 the same ? For your restricted
-pi/2 on a unit circle occupies the same space as 3pi/2 bc when you go backwards (negative numbers) after your first quarter of a rotation you hit -pi/2. this is bc when we restrict sin(x) domain we are looking at the piece of the graph that intersects the origin and spans from -pi/2 to +pi/2 (range is -1 to +1)
THANK YOUR BRIN 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
Why am I just now finding this guy?
he draws the best circles
why are you always using 1/2 when you solve?
so you need to have the unit circle memorized to be able to solve these?
No but it helps for sure
I understand it but I still don't get how restrictions work
thx. i should have came here first. i just wasted about an hour trying to make sense of inferior instruction.
Great video, but Auto Focus needs work lol
I warned you, that at 3:52 you will jump on chair. Having headphones on my head I thought something has just collapsed in the other room :)
Do you Know Bridjet Miller
😭😭😭my test is on Sunday and I can't understand this. Why?

The video is amazing but he talks way too fast :(
I wish you liked this comment
3:20 please explain how and why you immediately thought of those two answers. I wasn't able to follow because of that
I have my precalc final today wish me luck 🥲
