This is one of the reasons why I DO NOT confront customers about shoplifting. As a manager, I was taught to confront the suspected shoplifter and tell them to leave. There are way too many absolutely crazy people that don’t give a damn. Plus, I feel like if you are up in a store stealing unnecessary things, then you already are not right in the head. My goal as soon as I clock in, is to make sure I can clock out to go home to my family. I’m not dying for merchandise, especially when it’s not mine. I hope these losers get caught and anyone who has to work with the public please be careful.

The death penalty hasn't been an effective deterrent to crime because it hasn't been used as it should be in close to 100 years. When you start marching them directly from the court room to the chair you'll see a dramatic reduction in crimes like this. Until then our prisons will be backlogged with people waiting on appeals.

I work armed security in a retail chain of stores . And it’s very dangerous. Something as simple as working in a clothing store can mean life or death when it comes to these thieves. Killing any retail clerk, cashier, gas attendant, and a bank worker during a commission of a crime should raise it automatically a federal offense and the perp or perps would be up for the DEATH PENALTY. Shootings are everywhere. Keep seeing calls for armed security at all locations of this business or that.. it's just not feasible. This isn't going to get solved by anything other than people turning on the criminals in their communities. I mean seriously that car is pretty recognizable and the security shots.. someone knows who they likely are. But they aren't stepping up...
At least one of the employees on each shift should be able to carry a pistol. That would save money from hiring security.

The death penalty hasn't been an effective deterrent to crime because it hasn't been used as it should be in close to 100 years. When you start marching them directly from the court room to the chair you'll see a dramatic reduction in crimes like this. Until then our prisons will be backlogged with people waiting on appeals.

I work armed security in a retail chain of stores . And it’s very dangerous. Something as simple as working in a clothing store can mean life or death when it comes to these thieves. And then to get called names or unappreciated.

I have said it once and I will say it again. Killing any retail clerk, cashier, gas attendant, and a bank worker during a commission of a crime should raise it automatically a federal offense and the perp or perps would be up for the DEATH PENALTY. I know a lot of states have abolished the death penalty. The clothing store needs to put up a big reward for the arrest of the killers. RIP to the young man just trying to make an honest living.
