6 Minute Qigong: We Love Happy Lower Backs!

  • This quick, Qigong set is designed to open up and move Chi through the lower back. My own personal lower back pain was what originally brought me to practicing Tai Chi and these are a few of my favorite moves for alleviating a throbbing, sore back. If you are experiencing lower back pain and need some relief try this twice a day, everyday for a month . . . Let me know how it goes!! :)

    Skee has been studying Tai Chi and Qigong for more than 15 years and holds a R.A.M.A. instructor certification, specializing in Yang style Tai Chi Ch’uan. He has trained under Grandmasters Carl Totten (Taoist Institute of Los Angeles), Ho Sik Pak and David L. Reed. He also holds a third-degree black belt and is a Kyosa (instructor) in Tang Soo Do karate as well as a B.A in fine art and an M.A. in the History of Religion.
    As well as his private practice Skee teaches Tai Chi / Qigong in a dual diagnostic facility in West Los Angeles. His passion is to bring these ancient traditions into the modern world and present his clients with practical skills that can be used in everyday life situations. Skee teaches simple, yet powerful techniques to help reduce stress, lower anxiety and center the mind, allowing the head to connect with the body and the body to connect with the earth.
