Incredibly helpful! You may not realize, the info about not displaying a certain page (by applying the "None" to a particular page) was not so easy to find or intuitive and VERY helpful to finally see how to do it :) You rock!
Hi, good tut. thanks. can i ask, is there a way that i put 2 page numbers on one page and so the other one will start with offset number then the 1st one? like the left will be 001 and the right will be (001+250) 251 ? thanks in advance for answering
Mine is not showing letter A it is showing number 2 already. If I drag it holding Alt, it won't let me. But if I drag it using shift key it will allow me and on the next page it show number 3 however the number 2 is gone on the previous page.
Hi terry - having an awful time trying to put a second page i.e. white or any other pale colour number over a darker image - can you help with this, tried Master B but it isn't working for me :(
Terry. HELP - I am trying to start a Section for a book on a left-hand page. I am doing Roman Numerals for the first section then numbers for the rest. I follow your instructions in this video and when I do the left-hand page becomes a right-hand page and all the following pages shift. Yikes!
@@TerryLeeWhite Let me ask another way, is there a simple way to overlay the page numbers over full bleed images. When using the method you described in the video the page numbers are behind full bleed images. The only way I can seem to pull the page numbers on top of the images is to unlink or unlock ever page. This photo book is 400 pages with most the images full bleed.
Hello Terry! Thank you for this video. It's a very helpfull! I'm making an experimentel book design, and I have an idea, I want to countdown the pages in the book. Do you have an idea, or solution, how I can do this in ID automatical? Thank you for your's attention! Erika

Can I use the page numbering to make the days of an agenda?
Super new here to indesign. Trying to print a 40 page numbered print book, landscape, fold in half. The poor book is all out of order. Help please?!
Great info, I want the page numbers to be on top of images, is this possible ?
Feel free to put the page numbers anywhere you want. It's just a text frame.
