I love a good vlog and love peaking into people's homes and Sephora carts. I'm nosy! 😂 I know what you mean about feeling like you're wearing someone else's perfume. That's when you know it's not a win.
I am so nosy too, lol! I was that teen who peeked into every room when I was invited to someone's house, and always pulled back the shower curtains too. 😂 I wanted to know what products people were using! Yes I really dislike the feeling that a fragrance isn't your own... they always become scrubbers for me.
I have the same experience with the “your skin but better” scents. My theory is that it might be because synthetic musks were/are used in laundry detergent, which might give people the “clean skin/clean clothing” association. To me they often smell really harsh and I honestly prefer the way my skin smells 😅 I bought a handful of things, mostly staples: Dr Idriss Major Fade, my favourite moisturizer, Ilia mascara (the volumizing one). On a whim I blind bought a travel size of 7 Virtues Candied Lychee! 🙈
Yes, exactly!! Good theory! They always smell sharp and grating to me, not soft and gentle the way I want them to be. I have Candied Lychee! I enjoyed it this summer but find it doesn't do well in cooler temps right now, at least on me. You should be good in Florida though!
I returned the Kayali vacay set too 🙈 The only thing I’ve purchased so far is a 30ml of Fenty perfume, but I still have until tomorrow to make my final decisions! I usually restock on skin care and hair care but I’m pretty well stocked up! 😁 Amber Vanilla is so pretty 🥰
It really is so pretty. Oh and happy belated birthday friend!! Fenty is really pretty, I need to test it some more as the temps cool. I have only ever tested it in the summer heat.

Looking back I probably should have done that🤔🤣 Amber vanilla is such an amazing comforting scent🥰🥰🥰

My tried and true items in my cart are Paula’s Choice Resist tinted sunscreen, The Ordinary lactic acid 5% and 10%, Lancôme Monsieur Big mascara for my daughter and Laneige lip mask in the tube.

I've sprayed it on paper twice in Sephora and couldn't smell anything, but I've heard such fabulous reviews!! Maybe I need to try it on my skin. Also wow, what a great price on Princess! I recently picked up Commodity Milk with a big discount thanks to one of those sample packs. And +1 for vlogs if they are enjoyable for you to make!
Ah, hi neighbor! How are you all over there the last couple of weeks in the Helene aftermath? My heart is so so heavy for all of you. ISO E super is usually an aromachemical I'm anosmic to. I cannot smell Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume AT ALL, lol! But I really pick up the soft and smooth sandalwood in Amber Vanilla. I truly enjoy the top, heart, and dry down of the fragrance, it suits my chemistry so well. Yes go into store and douse yourself to give it a proper shot! I think I'd really enjoy making some vlogs, I'll start putting one together. Thank you for the input! 💛
