I wish we had a church that preaches the gospel where I live. Every Baptist church within a reasonable drive preaches some form of lordship salvation. I actually go to Church of God because the Baptists and non denomination are so far off and confusing. Its really sad because I really want a church that teaches the Truth. Thank you for these videos.

I needed to hear this message, thank you
I needed to hear this. I've been struggling majorly with bitterness and hatred toward another believer. I know this is wrong. I confess I'm not walking in the Light (is this supposed to be capitalized?) because of this bitterness. I pray for strength to forgive this fellow believer who really hurt me. Forgiving is what is right and what God tells us to do. This is what I want even though I'm hurt.
Do It Like The Bereans
Don't try to forgive in your own strength. It comes by speaking truth with God. Confess that you don't have it in you to forgive whoever for whatever but you would prefer to do things His way, if He will grant you the grace to do so. God, Who is faithful and just, will forgive you your sin and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Sometimes it's a next day result for me, where I feel complete peace about whatever it was and find that forgiving that person is something I genuinely WANT to do! At other times, it can be an immediate kind of response that holds urgency to do the forgiving, or apologising even, straight away.
It's called 'humbling oneself under the mighty hand of God'. I mean, it's He Who engineers our circumstances, and He does it because He is revealing something about ourselves that needs addressing. God is the One to 'address' it, via confession in truth. He's ever changing us from glory to glory. It's all good stuff. Be blessed.

My 'enemy' was someone having an affair with my spouse. I did feel bitter, wounded, hate filled... Especially as I was sent pics of the two of them hugging each other, smiling. I received peace and was able to tell this person I forgave them.
@@steenystuff1075 Wow, that's intense. Very understandable why that was hard to do. So thankful you are at peace and have forgiven them.
Mine involved growing incredibly close to someone who built me up then tore me down. That's very vague, I know, but it's too painful for me to go into detail. I suppose I also need healing from the pain. I've learned to push it to the back of my mind so it's not in the forefront. I hate thinking about it. We both contributed in hurting one another over the span of a little over a year. I regret that. Promises were made on their end and they broke those promises. And then I ended up breaking one of mine because they broke theirs. Ultimately, I wish I'd kept myself more guarded and not gotten so involved emotionally.

Because He knew what was in man, Jesus never entrusted Himself to anyone. But He was never embittered towards them either. God tells us to put our trust in Him, not each other. If we put our trust in anything less than God, we're setting ourselves up for a letdown. I think God's ideal is that we come into such vital relationship with Him, that circumstances can be what they may and we'll be unphased by them. Because we trust in Him alone. Bless you.
I realised the choice was mine regarding holding onto my rightful and just indignation, or letting it go. Holding onto it would have the effect of dampening my joy, to say the least. Satan comes not except to steal, kill and destroy. Steal your peace, kill your love and destroy your life. I decided I like being at peace. I realise I live when I forgive. So, for that reason, though I may feel like smashing someone's face in, I choose the way of peace and bring it to God. Then I find myself free from the desire to get revenge.😇

Dr Yankee, the sinful nature was removed I John 3:5 when we believed. We no longer have the sinful nature in spirit. We have sinful mastery in our mind that's why we sin but birth wise, we are born of God. Can you clarify this?
People who don't love can mean they have not received the love of Christ (He first loved us). They may not have eternal security yet. They say they love God instead of God loved them first so this is a clear possibility they have not received God's love yet which in this love, there's no fear of punishment. These people think they could still be punished that's why they don't have eternal security. If they doubt it, we doubt their salvation as well.

The Nicene creed states repeatedly that God is one being, yet three persons. Not three seperste spirits. When Jesus talked to the Samaritan woman at the well He said "God is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth". The "a" here is singular. You can simplify the doctrine of the Trinity as stated in The Nicene creed by
Stating that God is one Spirit who is eternally present as three persons all co equal, co eternal, co Almighty, co omnipotent, co omnipresent etc. Colossians 2:9 states that in Him(Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the godhead bodily. Read Isaiah 9:6 and you will understand the trinity better.
