lightly spraying water in each section. then letting it either air dry or blow dry in the rod (blow drying works best in my opinion).

How do you secure the ends to not unravel?
@@vrichards04you can add a little bit of hair mousse to the ends to help the hair stay on the flexi rod.

They simply hide it. A nice holding spray will do it. Check Hawaiian holding spray.
It's most likely water. Because flexi rods work best in wet hair.

Very pretty. It looks like you’re twisting as you’re rapping. I wonder what happens if you don’t twist. I can never keep my wrapping consistent sometime. I twist sometimes I don’t but I would love to see a side-by-side comparison.
Wrapping with twist gives that wave-like look, the curls relax nicely over time
If you flat wrap, you get a “barrel curl” like princess or Shirley Temple 😂 If you wrap too much hair at a time the ‘outside’ doesn’t curl that well and you get a fluffy look. I find they hold fairly well (if you don’t use too much hair) but over time they don’t really loosen up into any other look
