    Hello, I've got an offer from University of Liverpool and it's not on everyone's top of the list but it was for me. It has a steep acceptance rate which means they recruit the best of the best to study there, obviously also in the top 20 unis in the UK, their graduates are well sought after since it's part of Russell group and also highly ranked, amazing internship and alumni network along with great work and post graduate opportunities plus I've heard the nightlife is amazing too. If you could provide more information on Liverpool, then it would help me in finalizing my enrolment.

      I’m worried about similar things too !! I think we will have to be honest with our flat mates and I’m sure they should be quite accepting and understanding if we need some space or to not go out with them as much. I’m quite introverted and shy and can feel so exhausted when I’ve spent too much time with lots of different people! I think if we tell them that we are tired/explain then hopefully they will get it ♥️ I’m also worried my whole flat will be really extroverted and confident and I’ll get a bit lost 😂

Remember a little progress is still progress and there'll always be people that are in the same place as you so don't worry about being overwhelmed since you'll most likely be in the same place as others! • @AnnaRoscoe
      @AnnaRoscoe  3 года назад +1

      Yes definitely! Greenbank is really social from what I've heard and from visiting friends who lived there. Greenback village is quite big too so its quite easy to meet people. But if you do want to be on campus the most sociable halls from my experience is Melville Grove 😊

    • @ellie605
      @ellie605 3 года назад

    • @AnnaRoscoe
      @AnnaRoscoe  3 года назад

      @@ellie605 The journey is around 15 minutes so its not too bad although the bus fills really quickly in the mornings (should you be able to head to campus for lectures) the only negative to it is the price of a bus pass which is around £300 for the year on top of your accommodation fees so that's something to weigh up. It really depends what kind of experience you want to have, if you want the student Village experience greenbank is really pretty and modern and the flats are big so lots of social opportunities. But if you want to be in the heart of the city and not pay for the bus then campus accommodation is just as good. It really is luck of the draw as to how social your flat/ accommodation is so id say pick your favourite accommodation and go in with an open mind 😊

    I got an email like 3 weeks ago from Liverpool to send my acomodation preferences but I have just been putting it off and am really worried now. Honestly speaking how likely is it now it’s been almost a month that I will get my first preference because they’ve said it’s first come first served? 😩 also in your opinion which acomodation is best out of the cheaper options and also which one is closest to the dental school?? Thanks x

    • @AnnaRoscoe
      @AnnaRoscoe  3 года назад +1

      I would personally say Melville Grove is the best option for you! Its cheap and on campus so everything is in walking distance. The dental school is on North Campus so about a 5 minute walk from Melville but lectures are often taught across campus so I wouldn't worry about being near your department building as often in 1st year lectures are taught in any available lecture theatre across campus. I wouldn't worry too much about first come first serve as I imagine alot of people still haven't been given offers yet and Liverpool won't be everyone's first choice so accommodation won't actually be looked at until after results day, but id advise getting your application sent as soon as you can just so you can be in good stead to get the room you want!!

      @AnnaRoscoe  3 года назад

      @@aaliyahpatel2819 no problem at all, thank you so much for subscribing it means alot 😊 I stayed in Crown Place single bed room in first year which was my first choice and I really liked it so I would definitely recommend it, i think crown single bed is one of the cheaper options at the moment. I also really liked Phillarmonic Court as I had a few friends living there and it was so nice so I would probably pick that as an option if I was applying now. Although I recommend looking on the website for the prices as these have changed since I was a fresher but these would be my top 3 picks if you want to be close to things on campus but Greenbank is also so nice but I think it is a bit pricier than the other accommodations I've mentioned but the accommodation page will have a lot more info regarding price. The picking accommodation process was really simple from what I remember, I had no issues with it, the webpage guides you through it ☺

      @@rosyjongte8828 Hello 🥰 things have been very different this year due to COVID19 but the course itself is very interesting and engaging. However, it is quite science heavy. What I mean by this is you learn a lot about both theories of psychology and biological perspectives. So we do a lot of work regarding the Brain, Hormones, DNA ect. It is interesting none the less. We also cover statistics which is maths based formulas but not like the typical maths we learn in school. It's not too difficult although I find this hardest module as there are many steps to research report writing. But you do certainly practise a lot and learn as you progress in your first year. I'd highly recommend it. We have a girl from the Netherlands in our class and she is enjoying it also.
