I'm going to join LHU and there are so many negative comments on the website and that makes me confused about the uni but in your your video I found some positive vibes and I think I won't be hopeless there..!! Thanks 🙂
Honestly I absolutely love Hope! They care for their students, even this morning I had a phone call from the well-being people just to check in to see how I was! That is RARE for universities!! But not hope x
@@MrsBGeography They care about their students. And being an Indian this is exactly what I'm looking for...!!! Thank you very much. You don't even know how you helped me through this video. Hope to see you soon 🙂

Hiya, this video is super helpful i’m not sure if you will see this but i have just been accepted into Liverpool Hope through clearing, so everything is new to me, I was just wondering if you have any advice on accommodation as i do not know whether to book private accom that is nearer the city, or get uni halls accommodation? I was looking on unite but i am unsure if that is reliable xx
Hey congratulations on getting in!! The bus links to the city and Hope are so frequent and so that shouldn’t be a barrier. Unite is very reliable but you may not find many Hope students living in the city because there are halls on all three of the campuses (Hope Park, Aigburth- purely accom, and Creative). For safety I’d always go for halls on campus or with a company eg. Unite rather than private accom for first years but it just depends how close you fancy being to campus or the city. If you’re looking for private have a look on Marshall, property link or there are a few other agencies in the city x
@@MrsBGeography Thankyou so much!! and thank you for replying , that’s so useful to know there’s a good bus link. I was worried if i go with unite accommodation that it would be very quiet with not many students so i may apply for hope park xx
thank you so much for this video, it was really helpful. I am a year 12 considering Hope for primary education and coming to visit Liverpool in May! It was also really cool to hear you are part of the CU as I am definitely going to join that if I come to Hope, do most people who go to the CU go to the same church or are there a wide range of churches that people go to? because that is a big swaying point in deciding what uni to go to :)
Oh amazing. That’s so exciting! With regards to the CU there are a wide range of churches that people go to, but virtually ever church in Liverpool has students who are (if not from Hope CU) from another CU in Liverpool - which is good as we do a lot of things together throughout the year.
Hi! Im applying to study at Hope through clearing this year. Im applying for the primary education with qts course (5-11). is that the same as you, or are you doing the one aimed at teaching another age group??
Great informative video❤️. I have a few questions, It would be really helpful if you could answer those questions.I want to complete my masters in Advance Computer Science from Liverpool Hope University . It will be impossible for me to study masters in the university without scholarship. The question is what is the situation for scholarships in the university for International students? I'm open to do part-time jobs. How much can i cover from doing the part-time jobs? And what is the affordable option for accommodation for international students?
This is a very helpful video, i have a question. I'm a prospective postgraduate student due to resume in September(Hope park campus) where are the areas that you can recommend for suitable accommodation or if you have a plug, i will really appreciate that. Thanks in advance.
Hey I’d reccomend the roads off and around Penny lane (Ramilies, Dudley and Russell) - they are all student areas and are close to loads of shops, restaurants and only a short walk to uni. Virtually anywhere between the Hope Park Campus and Liverpool city centre has pretty good student housing to be honest! I hope this helps !
Can I ask how many people did you share a halls with? How many share the kitchen facilities? How many to each bathroom? What was the male/female ratio? Would you suggest shared facilities (as a girl) rather than en-suite facilities.? Do you think en-suite is worth the extra £20p/W. Just thinking it’s a lot extra! Ty 😃
Of course! So there were 11 rooms in my flat, which were all full at the start and then a couple of people moved out and then they were just empty. There was only one kitchen, but it was a big kitchen with more than enough space for us all (although we were never all cooking at the same time). There were three bathrooms, so each bathroom was for about 3/4 people. I was in an all female flat. And YES I would 100% suggest the shared facilities. They were cleaned every weekday by a cleaner. And there was never an issue with needing to use the bathroom because we all had different schedules. No I wouldn’t suggest paying for the extra ensuite.
Hey Lara, I’m an Indo-Canadian who’s planning to study there:: I have some questions:: Would be great if there’s anyway I can ask you those????? Thanks
Hi, loved the video. I’m starting in a few weeks and I’m living on the creative campus. How seriously does the uni take the accommodation rules? (Nothing on the walls etc.) x
I am pretty sure (although don’t quote me on this). You can register with student finance who will pay your tuition fees directly to the university in three termly instalments. You then pay these back once you graduate as a tax. If you are planning on paying them yourself whilst at uni, I actually don’t know how that works I’m afraid. I’d get in touch with the university for more guidance on that!
Nice video, I just have a question, if you decide studying a master, for example, does the uni demand you to stay and pay at the campus residence? Or you can arrange your own accommodation?, because my student offer is not that clear in that topic. Thanks in advance
No not at all! You can chose where you live, the university just offers affordable accommodation! I’m in second year now and live in a student house with a private landlord - not connected to the University at all!! Hope this helps!
